Proyek Miniatur Indonesia "Indonesia Indah" merupakan upaya mewujudkan gagasan untuk mendirikan taman yang berisi penggambaran kekayaan budaya Indonesia. Gagasan tersebut lahir dari pemikiran ibu negara, Tien Soeharto di tahun 1970. Melalui Yayasan Harapan Kita-lembaga yang juga diprakarsai oleh Tien Soeharto-Proyek Miniatur Indonesia "Indonesia Indah" dilaksanakan. Dalam perjalanannya, proyek ini memunculkan persepsi dan reaksi di masyarakat Indonesia. Melalui metode sejarah, skripsi ini membahas keberadaan persepsi dan reaksi masyarakat seiring dengan perjalanan pelaksanaan Proyek Miniatur Indonesia "Indonesia Indah". Selain itu dibahas pula mengenai upaya peredaman dari reaksi masyarakat tersebut. ......
