"ABSTRAK
The quality of journals in Indonesia is much criticized; however, the number of Indonesian journals that meet the criteria of Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) is quite a lot. This study describes some facts of Indonesias publications based on DOAJ and World Bank data. Data Collection Method. Some filtering processes in DOAJ database were done based on sum of journals, scientific fields distribution, and Article Processing Charge (APC). Open data regarding research funds among countries in World Bank database were analyzed.Data Analysis. This study used quantitative descriptive design with frequency analysis technique. Data visualization was done with R Statistical Computing and Google Sheets.Results and Discussions. In March 2017, there were 500 Indonesian journals (5th rank worldwide); 420 of them were in Indonesian covering more than 51,000 articles (7th rank). The top three fields were: education, Islam religion, as well as business and commerce. As much as 70% of the journals were free of APC. Science must prioritize inclusiveness and equality inline with the principles of originality and honesty.Conclusions. This study concludes that open access journals in Indonesia improves the accessibility, quality, and relevance of Indonesian research, which can be reused by communities, industries, and the government."

"ABSTRAK
This study aims to determine the utilization of social media based on the framework of health information seeking behavior and information dissemination. Data collection method. The study used survey with social media users as population by using nonprobability sampling. Analysis data. The survey data was processed by using SPSS program for further descriptive analysis. Results and discussions. Our results showed that social media users were dominated by female (age range 45-50 years old) with married as their status. Their highest level of education was D4 (Diploma) and S1 (undergraduate). They used WhatsApp (85.8%), YouTube (84.9%), Wikipedia (84%), Facebook (80.5%), Blogger (73.4%), Instagram (64.6%), Google (61%), and Wordpress (58.4%). The reasons for seeking health information through media were several facilities such to share, to give comment, to create conversation, to tag topics, and to upload photos. Other reasons were all of my friends use it, the display is convenient to use, and have notifications. Conclusions. Our results concludes that patterns of social media use was active seeking information related to health with less sharing information to others."

"ABSTRAK
Library in Vocational Higher Education is required to provide the best services in facilities, learning environmentbased on the characteristics of vocational education. This study aims to measure the level of satisfaction of library services in vocational colleges. Data Collection Method. The questionnaires were distributed to 150 respondents including students and lecturersbased on five dimensions of Servqual. Data Analysis. The analysis was conducted by identifying the gap between perception and expectation using Importance Performance Analysis method. Results and Discussions. Overall, the analysis if the gap for all Servqual dimensions was negative. Some services needto be improved to meet user expectations. By using Importance Performance Analysis, itwas found that the attribute P10 (Library needs to provide an adequate online catalog) should be prioritized.Conclusions. It is expected that the library can improve the services based on the users needs."

"ABSTRAK
The changing reality of libraries actually is a form of communication by the library management. The Language of libraries, is a representation of libraries through language. Various definitions of libraries from the literatures are representations of libraries through language. This study aims to examine the changing meaning of libraries from time to time.Data Collection Method. Data collection was conducted by involving documentation of various discourses discussing libraries.Analysis Data. Discursive genealogy was used to analyse the data to provide changes of meaning of libraries from time to time. Results and Discussions. The result showed that the meaning of libraries continues to change. The current meaning of libraries is a room or institution where information is stored and gathered. Libraries are hubs of users' needs including space, services, and various resources to support education, research, information, and recreation.Conclusion. Various changes of meaning of Libraries from time to time show that the representation of libraries through language has changed. The meaning of libraries may change and deconstruct."

"ABSTRAK
Librarians build their librarianship concept based on self understanding of interpretation of the reality from their professional activities in the workplace. This research is very important as the study of a concept of librarian profession from CPTA is limited in Indonesia. Data Collection Method. The research method used is qualitative with phenomenology approach. Five librarians participated in the IPDN Library. Results and Discussions. The results show the three meanings of librarian were as a valuable profession, as a promising profession and as an information service provider. The self-concept found in this study has been seen from three aspects: psychological aspects include a sense of confusion, a sense of comfort, a sense of pride and professional. Further, the social aspects involve being underestimated, harmonious relationships, respecting each other, creating intense competition and having good relationship. Physical aspects include being clean and neat, smart, versatile, attractive as a modern librarian. The motivation to become a librarian is salary and other incomes, competition, and opportunity to improve. Conclusions. The paper shows that librarians interpret themselves as a profession that has a value from the material perspective because it has benefits and allowances related to their work performance. Further research is needed to study a comparison between librarians formal education and librarians from CPTA related to their motivation."

"ABSTRAK
The practice of library space consumption is very important to be elaborated by using cultural and media perspective, becaus it elaborates on the problem of why digital native users interpret of space. This article is part of a dissertation research, which describes social practices and space representation by digital native users at UGM library. Data Collection Method. It is a qualitative research with participant observation, interviews, and supporting documentation, involving six informants selected purposively. Analysis Data. Ethnographic approach is carried out by paying attention to the meaning of the actions of the events that occur in digital native users. Results & Discussions. The results showed that UGM library space was used as productive and non-productive space. As productive space means that digital native users leveraged teh space for learning or other activities related to their study. Meanwhile, non-productive space refers to space to spend their leisure activities. The result showed that digital native users in leveraging the space did not correspond to the initial function of the space. There was inconsistency with the representations of space that was originally designed by the UGM library. Digital natives had their own way of leveraging the library space. Conclusion. There are other motivation how digital native users leveraging the library space. In representational space, digital native users have their own interests. Further research should discuss more specifically in revealing reasons of space use from another theories or perspectives."

"ABSTRAK
This study aims to analyze the business model canvas by the Library of Stikom Surabaya by using nine elements. They are customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, dan cost structure. Data Collection Method. The study used qualitative descriptive perspective to examine factual information and emerging practices in the field. Results and Discussions. Students, staff and community should be able to leverage the library services. The value offered was technology-based services and visitor convenience. Channels provided were the library website, email, social media. Customer relationships were built through personal assistance and self service. The key resources were human, technology and facilities. The key activities were learning commons. The key partnerships were internal and external partners. Conclusions. The Library is committed to realising its vision as a superior information center by providing a complete and fast information and communication channel in accordance with technological developments and customer needs."

"ABSTRAK
Library X is an academic library in Jakarta, Indonesia. Library X has provided Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) as a tool to provide information related to the collection. However, sometimes the information appears does not show high relevancy. One way to solve this problem is to develop user need based-book recommendation system. The purpose of this study is to create personalization model of book recommendations in Library X.Data Collection Method. The method used in this study was association rule mining using Apriori algorithm. Results and Discussions. The results showed that the book relationships for the minimum support was 0.1% and the minimum confidence was 10% and generated 42 association rules. It is noted that 657 (Accounting) and 658 (Management) are found to support for 2.6% with the confidence level for 14%.Conclusions. Book recommendation is formulated by selecting the rule with maximum support and confidence. The recommendation system is designed to be integrated to web application and users e-mail."
