"[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses preservasi pengetahuan di perpustakaan komunitas, mengidentifikasi pengetahuan penting yang harus dipelihara di perpustakaan komunitas, mengidentifikasi masalah penyebab ancaman kehilangan pengetahuan, serta menganalisis nilai potensial yang ada di perpustakaan komunitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang berfokus pada intepretasi pengetahuan yang dimiliki
pengelola serta pengalaman relawan dan masyarakat sekitar dalam memaknai keberadaan perpustakaan komunitas di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan enam tahap proses preservasi pengetahuan dari World Bank (1998). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan tacit yang dimiliki pengelola merupakan pengetahuan yang penting dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan komunitas
dan sebagian kecil preservasi pengetahuan telah dilakukan secara tidak sadar oleh pengelola, khususnya tahap diseminasi pengetahuan. Akan tetapi, pengelola belum menyadari bahwa pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dan pengetahuan relawan yang terlibat merupakan aset penting dalam pengelolaan Rumah Baca Zikri. Selain itu, melalui preservasi pengetahuan ini dapat ditangkap beberapa makna
keberadaan Rumah Baca Zikri yaitu seperti nilai kekeluargaan, kebersamaan, kerja sama, keikhlasan, pengorbanan, tanggung jawab, kemandirian, kemanusiaan serta terdapat juga unsur kepercayaan;This research aims to understand the knowledge preservation in community

"[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi lingkungan kerja pustakawan,
memahami terbentuknya budaya kerja dan proses internalisasinya, dan
mengidentifikasi kendala penerapan budaya kerja UMB di Perpustakaan
Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan
kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan
budaya kerja sudah dilakukan di perpustakaan, hal tersebut terlihat dalam sikap
dan perilaku pustakawan dalam bekerja sehari-hari yang merupakan wujud dari
internalisasi budaya kerja UMB. Adanya resistensi dan respon negatif dari
pustakawan merupakan masukan dan koreksi dalam penerapan budaya kerja
UMB. Hal tersebut ditujukan kepada pimpinan UMB untuk dicarikan solusi yang
positif dengan win-win solution.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to identify the librarians working environment, to understand
the formation and the process of internalization of work culture, and to identify
constraints in the implementation of the work culture UMB in Library. This
research uses a constructivist paradigm with qualitative approach and the case
study method. The results show the application of work culture has been

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keterlibatan
(Engagement Rate) perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dan menganalisis strategi
perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam menerapkan Library 2.0 serta untuk
mengidentifikasi hambatan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam
menerapkan Library 2.0. Pendekatan dalam tesis ini menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus komparatif. Hasil
perhitungan tingkat keterlibatan didapatkan Perpustakaan Universitas
Indonesia menempati urutan pertama, Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah
Mada pada urutan kedua serta Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga pada
urutan ketiga. Penelitian ini memilih Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia
dan Perpustakaan Universitas Airlangga menjadi lokasi penelitian, dimana
menghasilkan penelitian bahwa kedua perpustakaan telah memiliki strategi
dalam penerapan Library 2.0 yang diurai menurut komponen pembentuk
Library 2.0 yaitu partisipasi pengguna, web 2.0, perpustakaan dan layanan,
evaluasi dan kerjasama. Temuan yang lain kedua perpustakaan memiliki
strategi yang sama, di sisi lain ada juga strategi yang berbeda. Ketika salah
satu komponen lemah maka komponen lain lebih diperkuat.

in applying Library 2.0. The approach in this research uses a qualitative with a
comparative case study method. The Engagement Rate results University of
Indonesia Library ranks first, Gadjah Mada University Library in the second
and Airlangga University Library on the third. This research were conducted
in University of Indonesia Library and the Airlangga University Library,
which resulted that both libraries have had strategies in the implementing of

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kegiatan promosi di
Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Purbalingga, sebagai bagian dari kegiatan
komunikasi perpustakaan kepada masyarakat penggunanya, yang dilakukan
dengan cara memahami tiap tahapan promosi yang dilakukan oleh perpustakaan.
Alasan tahapan tersebut dilakukan, hambatan yang dihadapi dalam setiap tahapan,
hasil yang didapatkan, evaluasi keseluruhan tahapan promosi serta kemampuan
staf perpustakaan dalam menjalankan tiap tahapan promosi. Penelitian ini
dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap pra promosi Perpustakaan Umum
Kabupaten Purbalingga tidak mengawali kegiatannya dengan memahami
karakteristik masyarakat pengguna, akibatnya pada tahap eksekusi promosi, pesan
dan saluran promosi yang diberikan tidak mampu mengenai masyarakat pengguna
secara efektif. Pada tahap pasca promosi pihak perpustakaan tidak melakukan
evaluasi dan tidak mampu mengembangkan kegiatan promosi. Kemampuan staf
dalam tiap tahapan promosi juga belum memadai, staf cenderung pasif, kurang
komunikatif, dan kurang menghargai masyarakat pengguna, kondisi yang
demikian menyebabkan pelaksanaan kegiatan promosi di Perpustakaan Umum
Purbalingga belum bisa memberikan hasil yang diinginkan.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this thesis is to understand the promotion made by the Public
Library in Purbalingga; the promotion is divided into three steps: pre promotion,
execution and post promotion. The thesis investigates every step of promotion
concerning their rationale, evaluates the results of each step, also focusing on the
difficulties of staff and their abilities. The thesis uses a case study method
combined with a qualitative approach. The result is that the pre promotion step
does not entail a careful understanding of the library user?s characteristics; the
execution step cannot reach the users effectively through the right channels and
messages. Concerning the post promotion step the library doesn?t evaluate and
develop their promotion activities. The thesis relates these findings to lack of
abilities of the staff in every step of promotion; the staff has poor communication
skills, they are too passive, and, also, they lack a clear understand of who their
(potential) users are. The Public Library in Purbalingga cannot achieve their

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pesanpromosi dan saluran promosi terhadap loyalitas pemustaka perpustakaan keliling di Perpustakaan Umum DKI Jakarta.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskripsi analitik dan analisis bivariat.Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 variabel bebas yaitu desain pesan promosi dan saluran promosi serta 1 variabel terikat yaitu loyalitas pemustaka.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemustaka perpustakaan keliling pada Perpustakaan Umum Provinsi DKI Jakarta merasa pesan promosi dan saluran promosi yang disajikan dan digunakan sudah cukup sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan pemustaka. Selain itu, diketahui pula bahwa pesan promosi dan saluran promosi memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap loyalitas pemustaka.
Penelitian juga dapat menunjukkan pola loyalitas pemustaka perpustakaan keliling pada Perpustakaan Umum Provinsi DKI Jakarta antara perpustakaan dan pemustaka.Pengolahan dan analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi pengolah data.

This study aims to determine the effect promotional messages and promotional channels in the usersloyalty of Public Library mobile library in Jakarta.This study uses a quantitative approach to research method analytical description and analysis bivariat.Variabel this study consisted of two independent variables, promotional messages and promotional channels and one dependent variable is usersloyalty.
These results indicate that pemustaka Public Library mobile library in Jakarta felt message promotions and promotional channels that are presented and used is sufficient in accordance with the needs and desires pemustaka. In addition, note also that the promotional messages and promotional channels have a significant positive effect on loyalty pemustaka.
Research also shows patterns of loyalty pemustaka Public Library mobile library in Jakarta between the library and users. The data analysis in this study using the technique of multiple linear regression analysis with data processing applications.

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai "Kebijakan Pengembangan Koleksi" di Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung; tujuannya adalah menemukan keadaan yang sebenarnya terjadi dan memberikan usulan untuk lebih meningkatkan kinerjanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus. Langkah yang ditempuh adalah sebagai berikut. Dengan mendasarkan pada tindakan merupakan perwujudan dari pikiran atau gagasan, penulis menelusuri pemikiran pustakawan Mahkamah Agung mengenai kebijakan pengembangan koleksi dan praktik pelaksanaannya. Metode pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur.
Hasil sementara ditinjau lebih jauh dengan menggunakan perspektif (teori) kebijakan pengembangan koleksi yang dijelaskan oleh Evans. Hasil yang dicapai adalah ditemukannya jarak dan kendala dalam "kebijakan pengembangan koleksi" yang ada pada saat ini yang semestinya ditingkatkan dan dilengkapi. Penulis mengusulkan suatu model kebijakan pengembangan koleksi Perpustakaan Mahkamah Agung yang diharapkan mengisi gap dan melengkapinya.

This research discusses about the practice of "the Collection Development Policy" in Mahkamah Agung special library. it aims to identify the real situation and advances suggestions to enhance its performance. This research is a qualitative research using the case study. The steps used are as follows. Based on, action is the manifestation of ideas or rationale, the writer kept track of the librarians? ideas on the collection development policy and its practice. The method used in data collecting is depth interview and literature studies.
The intermediate result is discussed further using the perspective of collection development policy as suggested by Evans. The result found gap and hindrance in the present "collection development policy" practiced by Mahkamah Agung special library which needs to be advanced and furnished. The writer suggests the collection development model to be used by the library.

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas mengenai proses kegiatan pelestarian pengetahuan pembuatan Kue Putu Piring melalui kajian preservasi pengetahuan melalui enam tahap, yaitu capturing, codification, documentation, debriefing, storage, dan dissemination. Enam tahap ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemikiran, perilaku kebiasaan, interaksi budaya yang melatarbelakangi proses pembuatan Kue Putu Piring yang diungkap, hingga teridentifikasi pula partisipasi masyarakat di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau mempertahankan keberadaan Kue Putu Piring ini dan menyimpan dokumentasi pengetahuan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan yang digunakan berjumlah enam orang yang terdiri dari informan utama, yaitu pembuat Kue Putu Piring, dan informan tambahan, yaitu budayawan, tetua adat, dan pihak pemerintah.
Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Kue Putu Piring merupakan resep yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun kepada anggota keluarga yang perempuan. Dalam proses preservasi pengetahuan pembuatan Kue Putu Piring ini teridentifikasi memiliki beberapa kekurangan yang menjadikannya kurang dipromosikan sehingga jarang diketahui orang, terutama anak muda. Peran pemerintah sendiri saat ini adalah membuat buku resep makanan dan minuman khas Melayu Kepulauan Riau yang mana salah satu resepnya adalah Kue Putu Piring.

ABSTRACT
This theses discusses about the process of knowledge preservation activities in the making of Kue Putu Piring through six stages, there are capturing, codification, documentation, debriefing, storage, and dissemination. The using of those six stages are to determine the thought, behavior habits, cultural interactions underlying the manufacturing process of Kue Putu Piring, that unidentified there is a community participation in Provinsi Kepulauan Riau in order to maintain the existence of Kue Putu Piring and store the knowledge documentation. This theses is a qualitative research with case study approach. Six informants participate in this research consist of main and additional informants. The main informants are Kue Putu Piring makers, and the additional informants are cultural observer, indigenous elders, and government.
The results of this study is Kue Putu Piring recipe passed down through the generations to the woman family members. Knowledge preservation in the making of Kue Putu Piring has identified some shortcomings that make it less promoted so rarely known to people, especially young generation. The role of government itself is create a recipe book of Kepulauan Riau traditional food and drinks which one of the recipe is Kue Putu Piring."

"[ABSTRAK
Tesis ini meneliti tentang kebijakan akses ke repositori institusi di UPT
Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis kebijakan akses dan aksesibilitas ke repositori institusi di UPT
Perpustakaan UM, hambatan penerapan akses terbuka, serta pandangan pemangku
jabatan terhadap repositori institusi akses terbuka. Metode yang digunakan adalah
studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan
observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa terdapat resistensi dan perbedaan pandangan antar pemangku jabatan
terhadap repositori institusi akses terbuka berdampak pada kebijakan akses dan
aksesibilitas ke repositori institusi, bahwa dalam rangka perlindungan karya
akademik diterapkan pembatasan akses yang secara eksplisit belum ada payung
hukumnya. Pembatasan akses tersebut berimbas pada pengguna dan visibilitas
lembaga induk yaitu timbulnya komplain dari pengguna perpustakaan yang
mayoritas generasi digital dan menurunnya peringkat universitas di Webometrics.

institutional repository, barriers to adoption of open access, as well as the views of
stakeholders to open access institutional repository. The method used is the case
study method with qualitative approach. Data was collected by observation,
interviews, and document analysis. The result shows that the resistance and
disagreement among the stakeholders toward open access institutional repository
affect the access policy and accessibility to institutional repository. In protecting
academic work, access restrictions which is explicitly does not have legality is
applied. The access restriction affects users and visibility of institution. It
generates complaints from library users most of whom are digital generation. The

Tesis ini membahas konstruksi sosial pelestarian naskah di Rekso Pustoko, Puro Mangkunegaran, Surakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konstruksi sosial pelestarian naskah di Rekso Pustoko sangat bertumpu pada nilai-nilai dan prinsip hidup masyarakat Jawa. Sebagai masukan dari penelitian ini, diharapkan Pemerintahan Kadipaten Mangkunegaran dapat memberikan semangat baru, dorongan, dukungan serta nilai saling percaya bahwa staf perpustakaan dapat bertindak lebih kreatif agar permasalahan pelestarian yang selama ini terbentur oleh dana dapat terselesaikan.

ABSTRACT
The focus of this study is the social construction of manuscript preservation at Rekso Pustoko, Puro Mangkunegaran, Surakarta. This is a qualitative research with case study approach. The research shows that the social construction of manuscript preservation at Rekso Pustoko is depend on the life principal and values of Javanese society. The researcher suggests that Kadipaten Mangkunegaran could give new spirit, encouragement, and the value of trust to the library staff, so that they could manage manuscript preservation activities creatively and funds problem could be solved as well."

"[Penelitian mengenai pengaruh kompetensi pelaksana arsip terhadap kinerja pelayanan Arsip di Universitas Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi yang dimiliki pelaksana arsip terhadap Kinerja pelayanan arsip tersebut di Universitas Indonesia.
Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, maka sejauhmana pengaruh kompetensi baik secara individu maupun secara kelompok dalam pelayanan arsip di Universitas Indonesia. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 36 responden dari seluruh populasi dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling atau teknik sensus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi kepustakaan dan kuesioner penelitian, pengolahan data menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif.
Dari analisis dan pembahasan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan Kompetensi pelaksana arsip dalam dimensi motif, sifat, pencitraan diri, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, baik secara individual maupun secara kelompok dalam pelayanan arsip di Universitas Indonesia.

The research is about the influence of competence on archivist to serve performance of archive in University of Indonesia not yet optimum. The goal this research is to know in University of Indonesia.
Data collecting are observation, questioners. Data analyzing is survey method To reach the goal of the research, the method of surveying is conducted to get understanding about the influence of competences towards service performances on archive in University of Indonesia. The sample of 36 respondents are the total sampling (census technical).
