"Bunuh diri merupakan tindakan yang secara sadar dilakukan oleh seseorang untuk mengakhiri kehidupannnya. Perilaku bunuh diri adalah tindakan yang dilakukan secara sengaja untuk membunuh diri sendiri. Bunuh diri melibatkan ambivalensi antara keinginan untuk hidup dan keinginan untuk mati. Perilaku bunuh diri terdiri dari tiga tingkatan berupa ide/isyarat bunuh diri, ancaman bunuh diri, dan percobaan bunuh diri (Videbeck,2011). Seseorang yang berisiko melakukan bunuh diri adalah ketika mereka tidak mampu mendapatkan solusi dari permasalahan dan penderitaan yang dialami. Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah akhir ini adalah memberikan gambaran hasil manajemen kasus spesialis pada klien risiko bunuh diri melalui pendekatan model stress adaptasi Stuart dan teori Chronic Sorrow Eakes di rumah sakit Marzuki Mahdi. Tindakan keperawatan diberikan kepada 11 klien dengan menggunakan terapi kognitif. Terapi kognitif yang diberikan pada klien menunjukkan peningkatan dalam pencegahan perilaku bunuh diri. Terapi kognitif menunjukkan efektifitas kemampuan klien untuk berpikir positif. Rekomendasi: pada klien risiko bunuh diri dengan pendekatan model teori Chronic Sorrow bisa diberikan terapi kognitif. Untuk meningkatkan efektifitas perlu adanya terapi kombinasi bagi klien risiko bunuh diri.

Suicide is considered as a conscious of a person to end her or his life. Suicidal behavior is a deliberate act to kill her or himself. Suicide involves an ambivalence between the desire to live and wanting to die. Suicidal behavior consists of three tiers in the form of ideas / cues suicide, self unuh threats, and suicide attempts (Videbeck, 2011). Someone at risk of suicide is when they are not able to get the solution of problems and suffering.

The purpose of writing this scientific paper was to describe the result of specialized case Stuart’s Stress Adaptation and Eakes’s Chronic Sorrow Theories in Marzuki Mahdi Hospital. The Nursing interventions were provided to 11 clients using cognitive therapy. The cognitive therapy provided to the clients showed the improvement in the prevention of suicidal behavior. The cognitive therapy has demonstrated the effectiveness of positive thingking abilitiet of the cliens.

It is recommended that the suicidal risk clients can be treated with ognitive therapy using the combination of the Stuart’ Stress Adaptation and Eakes’ Chronic Sorrow Theories, as well as the combination of other therapies to be complemented to each other."
