"[ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas tentang perempuan yang memutuskan untuk menjadi penampil di dalam musik metal underground sebagai upaya counter-culture terhadap sistem kebudayaan yang patriarkis. Penelitian ini menggunakan dimensi analisa culture as crime dalam kajian kriminologi budaya mengingat terdapat praktik-praktik di dalam kebudayaan metal yang dilihat sebagai praktik-praktik yang menyimpang karena dianggap tidak sesuai dengan moralitas yang ada di masyarakat dominan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan kajian teori feminis radikal-libertarian dan feminis sosialis sebagai dasar dalam memaknai upaya yang dilakukan perempuan sebagai bentuk counter-culture. Sebuah band dengan personel keseluruhannya yang adalah perempuan menjadi subyek dalam penelitian ini, yakni Psychotic Angels. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus feminis dan critical social science guna memaknai keputusan perempuan untuk menjadi penampil di dalam musik metal underground sebagai upaya counter-culture.ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses about the choices that women made to be a performer in metal underground music as a way to make counter-culture to the patriarchy culture. The subject of this research is a full women personel band, named Psychotic Angels. "ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai resistensi gay laki-laki terhadap stigma darimasyarakat. Terdapat budaya yang dianggap menyimpang dan terstigma dalamhal ini adalah budaya homoseksual. Penelitian ini melakukan proses dekonstruksidengan menggunakan konsep cultural criminology dalam ranah culture as crimeuntuk memberikan sebuah pemahaman baru mengenai isu homoseksual.Kemudian melakukan sebuah perlawanan dengan menggunakan konsep counterculture.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukanwawancara terhadap lima narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwaseluruh narasumber pernah mengalami distigma oleh masyarakat, lembagarepresentatif, keluarga, teman, dan diri sendiri. Selanjutnya, untuk melawanstigma tersebut mereka melakukan usaha counter-culture. Hal yang dilakukanadalah dengan mengakui identitas diri sebagai gay laki-laki serta bergabung dalamkomunitas maupun organisasi sebagai bentuk penyesuaian terhadap stigma yangmenimpa gay laki-laki serta memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat bahwagay laki-laki sama seperti warga negara lainnya yang ingin diterima sebagaibagian dari warga negara tanpa stigma dan diskriminasi.

ABSTRACTThis mini thesis discussed about the resistance of gay men towards stigma comingfrom society. There is a culture that is considered deviate and stigmatized, whichis homosexual culture. This research does deconstruction process using culturalcriminology concept in the realm of culture as crime, in order to give a newcomprehension towards homosexual issue. Furthermore their resistance isexplained using counter-culture. This research uses qualitative method done bydoing interview from five resource person. The result of this research concludedthat all resource person had experienced stigma from society, representativeinstitutions, family, friends, and even from themselves. In order to fight stigma,they use counter-culture as an effort, by acknowledging themselves as gay menand joining other community or organization to adjust the stigma given to them.This research also gives a comprehension for society that gay men just like anycitizens from other countries want to be accepted as a citizen without beingstigmatized or discriminated."
