"Self-efficacy membantu anak usia sekolah mengetahui kemampuannya dalam menghadapi bencana sebagai bentuk kesiapsiagaan. Intervensi yang tepat diberikan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan sebagai faktor protektif adalah terapi kelompok terapeutik.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi kelompok terapeutik terhadap self-efficacy anak usia sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan Tsunami.
Desain Penelitian "Quasi experimental prepost test with control group". Sampel berjumlah 69 orang, 35 orang kelompok intervensi dan 34 orang kelompok kontrol anak kelas IV dan V Sekolah Dasar.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan self-efficacy pada anak sekolah meningkat secara bermakna setelah diberikan terapi kelompok terapeutik (pvalue < 0,05), kelompok yang tidak diberikan terapi kelompok terapeutik tidak meningkat secara bermakna, (pvalue > 0,05).
Penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan pada anak usia sekolah untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy dalam menghadapi bencana dengan mengetahui konsep bencana melalui pendidikan kesehatan.

Self-efficacy can help children to determine their ability against disaster as preparedness. Proper intervention to increase self-efficacy as a protective factor is a therapeutic group therapy.
The aim of the research is to understand the effect of therapeutic group therapy on self-efficacy of school age children against earthquake and Tsunami.
Research's design is "Quasi experimental pre-post test with control group" and samples are 69 persons, 35 persons are in the intervention group and 34 persons are in the control group consisting of school children at the IV and V grades in elementary school.
The result of the research showed self-efficacy of school children improved significantly after being given therapeutic group therapy (pvalue < 0,05), those who were not given therapeutic group therapy did not improve significantly (pvalue > 0,05).
This research is recommended to be conducted on school age children to improve their selfefficacy against disaster with knowing disaster concept by health education."
