Abstrak :
Di zaman sekarang video musik tidak lagi hanya sekedar sebagai media promosi dan hiburan lagi, ia berkembang menjadi sebuah sumber ide yang potensial bagi bidang-bidang lain seperti halnya bidang arsitektur interior. Skripsi ini membahas mengenai sejauh mana elemen-elemen video musik, seperti karakter-karakter ruangnya dan proses produksi ruang didalamnya, dapat diaplikasikan pada proses perancangan ruang dalam dunia arsitektur interior. Video musik merupakan media komunikasi yang paling berpengaruh bagi berbagai kalangan masyarakat maupun lapisan usia. Hal ini dikarenakan ia tersusun oleh elemen audio dan visual, jadi selain ada penjabaran dari narasi audio, terdapat juga visualisasi gambar tentang hal apa yang dinarasikan media audio tadi. Skripsi ini juga membahas mengenai interiority yang tercipta di dalam ruang video musik dan perbedaanya terhadap interiority ruang di keseharian kita. Selain itu, di sini juga dibahas mengenai bagaimana interiority yang tercipta oleh karakteristik ruang pada video musik, menginspirasi proses pengeksplorasian ruang pada bidang arsitektur interior.

Nowadays, music video not only serves as entertainment and promotional media. Its role has been expanding into becoming a potential source of ideas toother fields such as interior architecture. This thesis discusses about how far themusic videos elements such as its space characteristics and its spaceproduction can be applied in the interior architecture‟s space design process. Music videos are the most influential communication media to various communityand generations. It is because a music video is composed by audio and visualelements. Not only there is an explanation of the narration by audio, but in the same time, there is also a visualization that explains what‟s being narrated. This thesis is also discusses about the difference between interiority inside music videos and interiority in our everyday life, and how interiority created by the space characteristic of a music video could inspire a space exploration of an interior architecture project.

Abstrak :
Ketika seseorang telah memasuki usia 60 tahun, maka ia dikatakan telah memasuki fase lanjut usia. Saat memasuki fase ini, terjadi penurunan pada kondisi tubuh, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Oleh sebab itu sebagai sebuah tempat yang dihuni oleh lansia, maka sudah selayaknya panti werdha memenuhi kebutuhan para lansia salah satunya adalah kebutuhan terhadap interaksi sosial. Dalam skripsi ini dilakukan pendekatan dengan menganalisis setting ruang panti werdha dari segi ukuran dan bentuk ruang, pemilihan perabot dan penataannya, warna yang digunakan, serta unsur lingkungan ruangnya. Akan dibahas mengenai bagaimana keempat faktor tersebut dapat berpengaruh pada interaksi sosial antar penghuni di dalam sebuah panti werda. Mengambil Sasana Tresna Werdha Karya Bhakti Ria Pembangunan sebagai studi kasus, dan didapat hasil bahwa pengaturan interior ruang tidak secara sengaja didesain untuk memfasilitasi atau mendorong terjadinya interaksi sosial antar lansia. ......When a person has turn 60 years old, then he has entered the elderly phase. The body condition will decline both physcally and mentally. As a place is inhabited by the elderly, so it has to meet the need of the elderly, one of them is the need of social interaction. This undergraduate thesis uses analyzing the rooms setting of a nurshing home in term of size and shape of space, furniture selection and arrangement, the colors used, and elements of the spatial environment as the approach and how these four factors can affect the social interaction between elderlies in a nursing home. Taking Sasana Tresna Werdha Karya Bhakti Ria Pembangunan as study case, and obtained the result that the interior rooms setting is not deliberately designed to facilitate or encourage social interaction among the elderly.

Skripsi ini membahas transisi pasangan muda dari individu menjadi pasangan melalui penataan ruang interior pada tempat tinggal. Hal ini terkait perbedaan karakteristik dan identitas yang menjadi latar belakang. Intervensi dari luar diri pasangan yang berasal dari orang tua pasangan muda turut menjadi pelaku yang mempengaruhi penataan ruang interior. Penulisan skripsi ini berdasarkan studi kasus pada dua pasangan muda yang menunjukan bahwa penataan ruang akan selalu dinamis mengikuti perkembangan waktu. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah gambaran adaptasi dari individu menjadi pasangan melalui proses penantaan interior sebagai pembentuk ruang interior pada tempat tinggal pada pasangan muda. ...... This study illustrate the transition of individuals in becoming a young couple through the interior space arrangement for home. This is related to the difference characteristic and identity as the background external intervention, which comes form the parents, it also becomes the subject that influences the interior spatial arrangement. This study is based on the case study of two young married couples that shows that the interior space arrangement will always be dynamic. The result is the illustration of adaptation from individual into couple through the interior space arrangement of the young couple’s home.

The idea of this new publication by Mark Pimlott originates from a series of lectures given to students of the course 'The Architecture of the Interior' at Delft University of Technology. As the public interior dominates the experience of public environments in our time -- realms currently dominated by infrastructure or commercial interests -- its consideration is essential for all those involved in their making and use. The public interior, as a place in the world for people to be themselves with others, has been designed, and is thus inscribed within culture and its ideas. It seems very important to attend to and discuss these ideas of the public interior -- congruous with those of architecture -- as they have been embodied within it, across time and function. 'The Public Interior as Idea and Project' is a follow up of 'Without and Within: essays on territory and the interior
