Abstrak :
Penelitian ini mengenai tanggapan pustakawan dan pemustaka terhadap penerapan Library 2.0 di Perpustakaan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pustakawan dan pemustaka Perpustakaan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia belum siap dalam menerapkan Library 2.0 karena kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai Web 2.0 dan Library 2.0. Ketidaksiapan tersebut membuat penerapan Library 2.0 di Perpustakaan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia mengalami kendala yang berkaitan dengan masalah portal Library 2.0 dan sarana lainnya, sumber daya manusia yang belum memenuhi kriteria Librarian 2.0; kurangnya partisipasi pemustaka; serta perlunya pendanaan yang cukup untuk penerapan Library 2.0.

The focus of this study is how far the implementation between librarian and library user in using Library 2.0 in the Library of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia. This research is qualitative and the data were using study case method. The purpose of this study is to identify several problems in the Library of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia in using Library 2.0 also little information about Web 2.0 and the human resources which is under criteria from using Library 2.0; not enough participation from library user; includes funding to manages Library 2.0.

Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas tentang penerapan arsitektur informasi pada Website Perpustakaan Kementerian Sosial RI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan motode campuran sekuensial. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dan wawancara. Analisis penelitian didasari dari empat komponen dasar arsitektur informasi yaitu sistem organisasi, sistem navigasi, sistem pelabelan, dan sistem pencarian. Penulis melakukan metode eksperimen dengan cara menganalisis langsung tampilan dan fitur-fitur yang ada pada website. Metode wawancara juga dilakukan untuk menambah data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa Website Perpustakaan Kementerian Sosial RI sudah memenuhi beberapa komponen dasar arsitektur informasi namun masih ada beberapa komponen arsitektur yang belum diterapkan. Perpustakaan juga mendapatkan manfaat serta tantangan baru dari penerapan automasi perpustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut penulis memberikan saran kepada pihak perpustakaan untuk lebih memperhatikan arsitektur informasi dan memperbaiki fitur-fitur yang masih belum berjalan karena hal akan memberikan kemudahan kepada pengguna untuk dapat bernavigasi atau mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan.

This research discusses about the application of information archicture on the Library Website of Kementerian Sosial RI. This research uses explanatory sequential mixed method using experiment and interview. The research is based onthe four basic components of infomation archicture organization system, labeling system, navigation system, and search system. Researcher perform an experimental method by analyzing the interface and features available on the website and also interview method is take on to the informant for additional data. The results showed that the Library Website of Kementerian Sosial RI has met some basic components of information archicture but there are still some components that havent beenapplied. The library also gets benefits and challenges from implementing library automation. Based on the results of these studies, researchers provide advices to thelibrary to pay more attention to information architecture and repair some features that still not working because it will provide convenience to the user to be able to navigate or find the information that they are looking for.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang arsitektur informasi situs Perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap situs perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma berdasarkan empat prinsip dasar arsitektur informasi untuk situs yaitu, sistem organisasi, sistem pelabelan, sistem navigasi dan system pencarian . Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimental. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa situs Perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma sudah menerapkan beberapa komponen dasar arsitektur informasi. Selain itu, situs perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma belum beradaptasi dengan tampilan mobile. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan kepada pihak perpustakaan Unviersitas Gunadarma untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan arsitektur informasi serta beradaptasi dengan fitur mobile.

This resecarh discusses about the information architecture of Gunadarma University library situs. Aim of this research is for evaluate Gunadarma University library situs based on four basic principals of information architecture for a situs. The four prinicipals of information architecture for situs are organization system, labeling system, navigation system, search system. This research uses quantitative experimental method. The result of this research shows that Gunadarma University library situs has applied some of basic components of information architecture. In addition, Gunadarma University library situs hasn rsquo t adapted with mobile interface. Based on this research, the author suggested to Gunadarma University library to improve and develop information architecture on this situs and adapted mobile feature.

Nowadays, many of the search and retrieval services that previously were database-driven are now Web-based and part of the library's official Web site. So as libraries increasingly use the Web to deliver both in-house and remote services online, it is critical that their sites are engaging, easy to navigate, and created with the end user?the library customer?in mind.
