"Melalui Program IPTEKDA, BATAN diminta untuk mendayagunakan hasil penelitiannya kepada masyarakat. Salah satu hasil penelitiannya adalah benih unggul. Sejak dimulai tahun 1999, pada tahun 2006 persebaran benih BATAN mencapai luasan 1 juta hektar. Pada tahun 2011, persebaran benih BATAN telah mencapai luas 2,3 juta hektar. Peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kebijakan benih yang dilakukan BATAN dengan membandingkannya dengan teori hasil workshop ahli-ahli benih di Milan, Italia pada 28-31 Maret 2011. Pendekatan penelitian adalah positivis, deskriptif, cross sectional, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan studi kepustakaan. Seluruh indikator penilaian menggambarkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan benih yang dilakukan BATAN adalah baik.......By IPTEKDA programme, BATAN asked by the government to utilize it's research. One of the research is a super seed. Utilized by 1999, BATAN's super seed utilization reached 1 million hektare in 2006 and reached 2,3 million hektare in 2011. This achievement inspire Researcher to know how was BATAN's seed policy implementation by using outcome of seed experts workshop in Milan, Italia held in March 28 to 31 in 2011. The research approach is positivist-descriptive design, cross-sectional study, which data collected by in-depth interview and literature study. All of six indicators indicate that BATAN's seed policy implementation implemented goodly."
