Education has an important role in increasing individual income and societal productivity. This study highlights the importance of internet access in education and how this affects student dropout rates in Indonesia in 2022. The main focus of the study is to understand whether students' internet access has a significant effect on the incidence of dropping out of school at different levels of education, namely elementary, junior high, and high school. This study uses cross-section data and binary logistic regression analysis to identify the relationship between the dependent variable (dropout) and the independent variable (internet access). The results of the analysis show that internet access has a significant positive effect on the risk of dropping out of school at all levels of education. Children with internet access tend to have a higher risk of dropping out compared to those without access. This study also shows the influence of parental characteristics, family characteristics, and economic and regional characteristics on school dropout. "

That on June 3, 2020, the Indonesian Government was adjudicated to have committed an unlawful act (Onrechtmatige Overheidsdaad) by the Jakarta Administrative Court in Case Number 230/G/TF/2019/PTUN-JKT for its policy of throttling or slowing down access/bandwidth, blocking data services, and/or completely cutting off internet access, along with the extension of this policy in the regions of West Papua Province and Papua Province, implemented by the Indonesian Government from August 19, 2019, to September 9, 2019. The Indonesian Government did not file an appeal, making the decision legally binding. This writing analyzes the relationship between the public's right to information and freedom of opinion and expression with human rights and Good Governance principles. It further analyzes how the Indonesian Government's actions are classified as a violation of human rights and Good Governance principles. Ultimately, this writing examines the ideal role the government should play in ensuring the enforcement of human rights and Good Governance principles in its policies regarding the public's right to information and freedom of expression and opinion in Indonesia. This writing is based on the theories of justice, public administration, and the protection of freedom of expression, as well as the concept of good governance. The writing employs a doctrinal legal approach. The case decision studied in this writing represents recognition and protection of the public's right to information and freedom of opinion and expression, particularly internet access, as evidenced by the Judges' considerations that the actions taken by the Indonesian Government in this case violated human rights and Good Governance principles. The Indonesian Government should have taken wise and appropriate actions using the legal instruments at its disposal in addressing the issues in this case."

Durrance, Joan C.
"Librarians are key players in bringing communities together. With the help of the Internet, they are in a position to revolutionize the way users access information and come together as a result. Indeed, libraries can function as both hubs to circulate local, national, and global information and as networks of local agencies, nonprofits, community activities, resources, events, and contacts."

"This book presents an investigative approach to globalization-driving technologies that efficiently deliver ubiquitous, last-mile, broadband internet access to emerging markets and rural areas. Research has shown that ubiquitous internet access boosts socio-economic growth through innovations in science and technology, and has a positive effect on the lives of individuals. Last-mile internet access in developing countries is not only intended to provide areas with stable, efficient, and cost-effective broadband capabilities, but also to encourage the use of connectivity for human capacity development."
