"ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas tentang tema postkolonial yang terdapat dalam film La Noire de.. karya Ousmane Sémbene melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film. Analisis juga didukung dengan teori postkolonial Edward Said untuk melihat apa saja bentuk isu-isu postkolonial yang terdapat dalam film La Noire de… Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa isu postkolonial yang muncul yaitu relasi kuasa, rasisme, stereotip, mimikri, krisis identitas, dan resistensi. Dari beberapa isu postkolonial tersebut relasi kuasa merupakan isu postkolonial yang paling banyak dan aspek visual merupakan aspek yang paling banyak memunculkan isu-isu postkolonial tersebut. Film ini menggugat postkolonial dengan adanya tokoh Diouana sebagai ras kulit hitam yang memberontak atas tindakan diskriminatif yang dilakukan ras kulit putih padanya.

ABSTRACTThis article discusses postcolonial themes contained in La Noire de.. directed by Ousmane Sémbene, through narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film. Analysis is also supported by postcolonial theories of Edward Said to see what kind of postcolonial issues contained in the film La Noire de… The analysis showed that there are some postcolonial issues that arise are power relations, racism, stereotypes, mimicry, an identity crisis, and resistance. From some of those postcolonial issues, power relations is a most numerous postcolonial issues and the visual aspect is the most often raises the postcolonial issues. This film suing the postcolonial by the character of Diouana as the black race who rebelled over discrimination carried the white race to her."

"Skripsi ini berisi pembahasan tentang aspek-aspek moral yang membangun falsafah Tri Dharma Mangkunegara I (RM. Said) dilihat dari kisah-kisah perjuangan RM. Said. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek moral apa yang membangun butir-butir falsafah Tri Dharma. Dengan teori gaya hidup dan empat aktivitas sosial yang disebutkan dalam teori tersebut penulis mencoba menganalisis aspek-aspek moral yang ada dalam kisah-kisah perjuangan RM. Said.Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa falsafah Tri Dharma dibangun oleh beberapa aspek moral dan relevansinya bahwa falsafah Tri Dharma masih dipakai oleh masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Mangkunegaran sebagai ajaran moril dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

This undergraduate thesis will discuss about moral aspects which builds Mangkunegara I?s Tri Dharma ideology based on R.M. Said?s struggle history. This research will answer what kind of moral aspects which builds the points of Tri Dharma ideology. By applicating the lifestyle theory and four social activities which mentioned in the theory, the researcher analyzed moral aspects behind the struggle story of R.M. "Disertasi ini membentang pemikiran Edward Said tentang diskursus orientalisme, imperialism baru, kesadaran kritis, dan humanisme sekuler, sebagai pijakan untuk membahas perlunya kesadaran pascakolonial sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi konflik global yang disebabkan adanya pembedaan dan perbedaan identitas serta adanya penjajahan pikiran akibat dari hegemoni budaya yang dirasukkan pada warga bangsa yang pernah mengalami penjajahan kolonial melalui kekuatan media massa Barat/Amerika Serikat. Edward Said mengemukakan konsep contrapuntal untuk menguatkan strategi tersebut dalam mencapai worldliness humanism. Disertasi ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan hermeneutika radikal. Secara ringkas rumusan permasalahan dalam disertasi ini adalah bagaimana melalui pemikiran Edward Said dapat menjelaskan pentingnya kesadaran paskolonial sebagai strategi untuk pencerahan dalam mengatasi penjajahan pikiran dan apakah konsep contrapuntal dan worldliness humanism dapat menjadi konsep penting dalam mengatasi konflik global pada saat ini.

This dissertation elaborates Edward Said's thought of discourse of Orientalism, new imperialism, critical consciousness, and secular humanism. These are as a basis to explain the need for post-colonial consciousness as a strategy to address global conflicts caused by distinctions and differences of identities and the colonizing of mind due to the cultural hegemony through the power of the Western / United States media, that penetrates to the citizens of a nation that had have experienced of colonial rules. Edward Said argued that contrapuntal concept could strengthen the strategy in achieving worldliness humanism. This dissertation uses qualitative research methods and radical hermeneutics. In short, the problems are how through Edward Said's notion to explain the importance of post-colonial consciousness as a strategy to overcome the enlightenment in overcoming of colonized of mind and whether the concept of contrapuntal and worldliness humanism become an important concept in dealing with the current global conflict."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang Orientalisme yang muncul pada wacana Novel Shi no Hana. Berisi interaksi tokoh utama Hinobe sebagai orang Jepang berinteraksi dengan tokoh lainnya yang berbeda bangsa yaitu bangsa Eropa khususnya Belanda. Saat itu Jepang menginvasi Indonesia. Di satu sisi, negara Jepang adalah termasuk bangsa Timur, tetapi di sisi lain, Jepang telah berideologi Barat. Tesis ini memakai penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teori Orientalisme Edward Said dan teori Orientalisme Jepang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ternyata wacana Orientalisme terbukti dalam konteks Asia Timur yaitu dalam novel Shi no Hanakarya Abe Tomoji.

This thesis discusses the discourse of Orientalism that appear on the Novel Shi no Hana. Contains lead character interaction as the Japanese Hinobe interact with other characters of different nations, namely the Europeans, especially the Dutch, while the Japanese invaded Indonesia. On the one hand, Japan is the country including East nation, but on the other hand, Japan has the ideology of the West.

This thesis wearing descriptive quantitative research methods, theory and the theory of Orientalism Edward Said's and Japan Orientalism. The results of this study turns the discourse of Orientalism is proven in the context of East Asia, namely in the novel Shi no Hana Abe Tomoji work."
