"ABSTRAK
Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas Faktor-Faktor Kepentingan Inggris dan Skotlandia Terhadap Hasil Referendum Kemerdekaan Pada Masa Pemerintahan Scottish National Party. Karya ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa hasil referendum disebabkan oleh faktor sistem negara kesatuan, ekonomi, regional, dan keamanan. Selain itu, popularitas isu kemerdekaan yang rendah juga mempengaruhi. Faktor sistem negara kesatuan menjelaskan bahwa Skotlandia masih bergantung kepada Inggris. Faktor ekonomi menjelaskan bahwa rakyat khawatir akan prospek ekonomi jika merdeka. Faktor regional menjelaskan bahwa kemerdekaan Skotlandia akan mengancam Uni Eropa. Sedangkan faktor keamanan menjelaskan bahwa Skotlandia akan lebih lemah secara militer jika merdeka.

ABSTRACT
This research describes about of The British and Scottish interests factors determining the Independence Referendum Outcome in the Scottish National Party Government. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive design. Furthermore, there are factors that cause the outcome of independence referendum which is the British unitary system, economics, regional and security. In addition, the unpopularity of independence issue is also influential. The British unitary system shows that Scottish still dependent to the English. Related to economics issues, the people are concern about the future prospect if Scotland gain independency. On the other hand, in the security issues, the independence of Scotland will makes Scotland become weaker nation in terms of military power.
