Abstrak :
Pada umumnya, pembuatan kapal Phinisi dilakukan berdasarkan alur proses yang telah ada dan secara tradisional. Dengan berdasar kepada pembuatan secara tradisional tersebut, maka dilakukan suatu penelitian dengan melakukan pengelolaan risiko pembuatan kapal Phinisi yang akan mempengaruhi waktu pelaksanaan proyek. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian berdasarkan analisa deskriptif dan pendekatan risiko melalui survey, observasi dan wawancara. Dalam penelitian ini juga dilakukan studi literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian yang digunakan sebagai acuan. Dengan melakukan analisa risiko pembuatan kapal Phinisi maka akan didapatkan suatu response risiko yang digunakan sebagai acuan untuk mengantisipasi risiko-risiko yang berpotensi terjadi yang akan mempengaruhi waktu pelaksanaan proyek. ......Phinisi is one of Indonesian traditional boat that mostly used as cruising boat. For that reason, a research for traditional boat building base of risk management which will influence the time of project implementation will be held. Some research method will be used such as risk descriptive analysis and risk approach analysis and also literature study as a reference. With doing the research, so that will be obtained the risk response which can be used to anticipating the most potential risk which will be arise from the research which will influence the time of project implementation.

[Indonesia merupakan negara dengan wilayah perairan yang besar dimana kapal menjadi transportasi yang paling baik dalam berbagai kegiatan yang melibatkan penyebrangan. Galangan kapal sebagai pihak pembuat kapal diharapkan dapat memproduksi kapal tak hanya dalam kuantitas yang banyak tetapi juga kualitas yang baik. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut dibutuhkan manajemen galangan yang baik dimana dalam setiap proses harus dilakukan secara terencana dengan pengawasan teratur dalam hal ini kesiapan desain adalah salah satu faktor penentu dimana desain adalah hal yang fundamental dalam proses pembangunan kapal proses desain yang baik dan terencana serta pengawasan yang cermat akan mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan kesiapan seluruh desain yang juga akan mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan dalam proses pembangunan kapal. ......Indonesia is a country with great territorial waters where vessels transport most well be in range of activities that involve crossing.
