Abstrak :

Skripsi ini membahas arca-arca dewa dari Jawa Timur yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan ikonografi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengidentifikasi wujud arca yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan ikonografi Hindu, serta faktor-faktor penyebab munculnya arca tersebut. Melalui metode deskripsi dan komparasi, maka hasil penggambaran dan perbandingan tiap arca secara keseluruhan maupun partikular dapat diperoleh secara rinci. Setiap arca, dalam penelitian ini memang tidak sesuai dengan aturan ikonografi karena faktor penafsiran yang berbeda terhadap ketentuan ikonografi, dan kebebasan seniman pemahat arca.

The research discusses about the statues of the Gods from East Java that have not properly with the iconography. This study is to identify the form of statues that are not properly with the Hindi‘s iconography and to identify the factors that cause the appearance of the statue. Through the method of description and comparison, the results of this research of each statue as a whole or particular can be obtained in detail. Each statue, in this study is not properly with the order of iconography due to lack of the difference interpretation of iconography, and the independence of sculpture artists.

Arsitektur sering kali diasosiasikan dengan bangunan. Ini membuat kehadiran ruang, sebagai elemen utama arsitektur terkadang tidak disadari. Dalam seni pertunjukan, salah satu cara membentuk ruang arsitektural dapat dari proyeksi gerakan serta interaksi yang terjadi antar manusia. Pada seni pertunjukan, terjadi komunikasi lansung antara penampil dan penonton. Penonton menangkap pertunjukan, menginterpretasikan event dan mengalami ruang yang hadir selama pertunjukan berlangsung. Skripsi ini menjabarkan dan menyimpulkan bahwa ruang tidak selalu tercipta akibat hadirnya batasan fisik. Aktivitas, suara, intensitas cahaya, bahkan penonton merupakan elemen yang juga berpotensi untuk menghadirkan ruang. ......Architecture is often associated with buildings. As a result, the presence of space as the essence of architecture is seemingly failed notice. In a performing art, architectural space emerges from projections of people's movements and interactions. In performing art, direct communications occur between performers and audience. The audience captures the show, interprets events and experiences the spaces that continuously exist during the show. This thesis describes and concludes that space is not always created by the presence of physical boundaries. Activity, sound, light intensity and even the audience are also powerful elements to bring the space into existence.
