"ABSTRAKAnorexia Nervosa adalah penyakit umum yang dapat menyerang semua manusia. Anorexia nervosa itu sendiri bisa diartikan secara berbeda bergantung pada setiap pengertian individu. Sasaran utama dari jurnal ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana anorexia nervosa digambarkan didalam film. Fokus dari jurnal ini adalah untuk menggambarkan anorexia dari dua film yang berbeda, To the Bone 2017 dan Little Miss Perfect 2016 . Dalam dua film ini, anorexia digambarkan secara berbeda. Dalam film To the Bone, pengalaman karakter utama melawan anorexia berbeda dengan pengalaman karakter utama dalam Little Miss Perfect melawan anorexia. Dalam jurnal ini, untuk menjelaskan anorexia sebagai mekanisme pertahanan akan menggunakan teori psikoanalisa dari Sigmund Freud. Seperti yang diyakini bahwa salah satu penyebab dari anorexia nervosa adalah karena masalah psikologis dan bukan karena masalah biologis, dan teori Freud akan menjelaskan isu ini dengan lebih baik.Kata kunci : anorexia nervosa; mekanisme pertahanan; kedewaaan.

ABSTRACTAnorexia nervosa is a common illness that can happen to all people. Anorexia nervosa itself can be interpreted differently based on one rsquo;s personal opinion. This journal aims how anorexia nervosa is depicted in movies. This will be focusing on how anorexia nervosa is portrayed into two different movies, To the Bone 2017 and Little Miss Perfect 2016 . In both movies anorexia nervosa is pictured differently. In To the Bone, how the main character went through anorexia until she agreed to get treatment is different to how the main character in Little Miss Perfect is represented as anorexic person from the causes until the treatment. This journal will be using Sigmund Freud rsquo;s theory which is psychoanalysis in focusing on defense mechanism. As it is believed that anorexia nervosa is something caused by some psychological issues rather than biological issues. "Skripsi ini menganalisis tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang dari sudut pandang psikologi. Tujuannya adalah menganalisis dinamika perilaku tokoh Gambir berdasarkan teori psikoanalisis dan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk pengalihan dalam khayalan tokoh Gambir. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku tokoh Gambir berdinamika karena ketidakseimbangan peran antara subsistem id, ego, dan superego. Sementara itu, bentuk pengalihan dalam khayalan tokoh Gambir ada empat: tokoh Talyda dan Menik sebagai pengalihan tokoh Ibu; peristiwa aborsi sebagai pengalihan kekejaman tokoh Ibu; patung-patung wanita hamil sebagai pengalihan insting seksual tokoh Gambir; pintu terlarang sebagai pengalihan pintu sel isolasi.

This undergraduate thesis analyzes Gambir character in Pintu Terlarang from psychological point of view. The purposes are to analyse Gambir‟s behavior based on psychoanalysis theory and to describe displacement in Gambir‟s fantasy. This research used descriptive-analytic as the method.

The result shows that dynamics of Gambir‟s behavior caused by inconsistency of his personality system. In the other hand, there are four displacements in Gambir‟s fantasy: Talyda and Menik character as displacement of his mother figure; abortion as displacement of his mother‟s cruelty; pregnant women statues as displacement of his libido; forbidden door as displacement of isolation room‟s door."

"Hiruk pikuk kehidupan ibukota menuntut perpindahan terjadi dengan cepat. Hal ini menjadikan ruang transisi sebagai ruang yang tidak terelakkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan membentuk ruang transit sebagai ruang yang mewadahi transisi manusia dari titik A ke titik B. Fungsi dan interioritas ruang transit merupakan konsep yang bertolak belakang. Desakan kesibukan membuat fungsi dikedepankan dibanding interioritas ruang transit. Interioritas yang tidak tersampaikan memicu perilaku seenaknya dari user seperti perilaku user pada lost space yang berakibat pada pengabaian ruang dan berakhir dengan rusaknya ruang tersebut sehingga ruang tersebut bahkan tidak mampu untuk memenuhi fungsinya. Tugas akhir ini berisi tentang usaha menggapai interioritas ruang transit untuk mencegah kecenderungan ruang transit menjadi lost space dengan memanfaatkan mekanisme pertahanan spasial.

Rush in city life demands people to move efficiently from point A to point B which makes transitional space as an unavoidable space in daily life. Function and interiority of transitional space are concepts which work in dualism, but the force of rush makes the function to be more prioritized than the interiority. Interiority which is not conveyed properly drives unintended user behaviour such as act in lost space. The act makes desertion of space which ends up with space selfdestruction. It even makes the space incapable to fulfill its function.This final project contains an effort to prevent the tendency of lost space and reach the proper interiority of transitional space by applying spatial defense mechanism."

"ABSTRAK Inside Out merupakan sebuah film yang menggambarkan pengaturan sistem pikiran manusia. Film ini menampilkan ilustrasi dari proses perkembangan psikologis yang terjadi pada alam bawah sadar menurut teori Freud mengenai kepribadian. Teori ini ditampilkan melalui sebuah penggambaran alegori melalui ilustrasi mekasime pikiran manusia yang rumit dengan melakukan personifikasi pada karakter-karakter yang mengatur sistem tersebut. Masalah yang difokuskan pada film ini adalah dominasi sebuah emosi, yaitu Joy, dalam mengontrol Riley. Dominasi yang cenderung menekan peran emosi lain dianggap sebagai sebuah mekanisme pertahanan untuk melindungi Riley dari perasaan tidak menyenangkan. Dalam film ini, mekanisme pertahanan dideskripsikan tidak hanya sebagai respon normal manusia yang muncul saat menghadapi bahaya dan ketakutan, tetapi juga sebagai sebuah sistem yang dapat memengaruhi pengembangan kepribadian seseorang dan kehidupan emosinya. Dengan menggunakan analisis tekstual, penelitian ini mengungkap peran dari mekanisme pertahanan dalam proses penngembangan kepribadian berdasarkan teori Freud. "ABSTRAKNovel dengan tema keberagaman banyak bermunculan. Penelitian mengenai karya sastra tersebut banyak pula dilakukan. Dengan menggunakan novel The Hate U Give 2017 sebagai data, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana metode pertahanan digunakan oleh karakter Starr Carter dalam menyembunyikan identitasnya sebagai keturunan Afrika Amerika dan bagaimana proses terbentuknya solidaritas terhadap sesama kaum kulit hitam. Metode pertahanan Freud dan model pembentukan solidaritas Shelby adalah kerangka penelitian tulisan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pertahanan tidak efektif dan faktor eksternal berpengaruh penting terhadap pembentukan solidaritas seseorang.

ABSTRACTAs diverse writing continues to be sought for, researchers have been conducting studies on own voices literature. By using The Hate U Give 2017 as the data and focusing on the character Starr Carter, this study aims to analyze how defense mechanism is used to suppress her black identity and how the foundation of her black solidarity is formed. Freudian Defense Mechanism and Tommy Shelby rsquo;s Model of Black Solidarity Formation serve as the framework of this study. The findings suggest the application of defense mechanism to be ineffective and the influence of external forces in the formation of black solidarity to be significant."

"ABSTRAKTujuan penggunaan humor dalam sebuah komedi situasi dan karakternya dapat bertolak belakang degan satu sama lain. Oleh karenanya, studi analisis terhadap cara keja humor bagi karakter Chandler Bing dari sitkom Friends membawa pendekatan baru terhadap penggambaran isu maskulinitas dalam media populer. Artikel ini melihat tanggapan humoris Chandler terkait isu humor mock-macho. Dengan menggunakan analisis karakter terhadap humor yang digunakan saat melakukan mekanisme pertahanan diri terhadap isu maskulinitas, ditemukan perbedaan antara penggunaan humor sebagai mekanisme pertahanan diri dan humor mock-macho. Mock-macho menghilangkan garis pemisah antara maskulin dan feminin sedangkan mekanisme pertahanan diri memastikan parameter stereotipe maskulintas.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of humor from the situational comedy and its character might contradict to one another. Therefore, an analytical study of how humor works for the character Chandler Bing of the hit sitcom Friends bring a new approach on how the portrayal of masculinity issues is brought up in popular media. This article explores Chandler rsquo;s hilarious responses regarding the issue of mock-macho humor. By doing a character analysis on his defense mechanism in which he uses in making jokes concerning masculinity issues, it is discovered that the purpose of humor between humor as a defense mechanism and as mock-macho is different. Mock-macho assures that masculinity has a blurred border with femininity while defense mechanism sets the parameter of stereotypical masculinity."

"Kegagalan koping pada anak bisa mempengaruhi proses tumbuh kembang anak terutama dari aspek psikologis. Faktor-faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi kemampuan koping anak perlu diperhatikan balk dari aspek anak itu sendiri ataupun dari lingkungan. Hal ini untuk menditkung anak secara konstruktif dalam menghadapi stress yang muncul. Jenis stressor yang muncul sangat mempengaruhi koping anak. Ketakutan, perpisahan, kehilangan dan kematian merupakan stressor yang biasa muncul pada anak. Respon yang diperlihatkan anak sangat bervariasi tergantung dari tingkatan usia (tumbuh kembang), persepsi dan reaksi anak serta dukungan dari orang tua. Seorang perawat sangat penting untuk menguasai pengelahuan tentang koping anak guna menyelesaikan masalah anak baik di lingkungan rumah, lingkungan rumah sakit ataupun di masyarakat, sehingga bisa melakukan koping secara konstruktif."

This is very important, because knowing self-defense mechanism can help humans survive and face the world. This journal discusses the self-defense mechanism raised by the main character in the film Die Wand (2012). The discussion in this journal is carried out by analyzing cinematographic techniques, surrealism and Sigmund Freuds theory of self defense mechanisms. After being analyzed, it can be concluded that the main female characters have raised many self-defense mechanisms of denial and diversion through various metaphors in the story."

"Penelitian ini mengkaji mekanisme pertahanan diri tokoh dalam novel Ganjil Genap. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra yang menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Pendekatan tersebut digunakan untuk menganalisis bentuk mekanisme yang dilakukan para tokoh, yaitu Gala, Bara, dan Aiman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tekanan yang dialami oleh para tokoh, bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri, dan dampak yang dialami para tokoh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya kecemasan yang berkaitan dengan masalah percintaan. Selain itu, bentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri yang digunakan para tokoh adalah sublimasi, apatis, represi, dan reaksi formasi. Tokoh Gala merasakan dampak dari mekanisme pertahanan diri, yaitu penerimaan diri tokoh tersebut sebagai perempuan lajang. Sementara itu, tokoh Bara dan Aiman mendapatkan rasa kehilangan.

This research examines the character's self-defense mechanism in the novel Ganjil Genap. The method used in the research is a qualitative method with a literary psychology approach that uses Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory. The approach is used to analyze the form of mechanisms carried out by the characters, namely Gala, Bara, and Aiman. This research aims to explain the pressure experienced by the characters, the form of self-defense mechanisms, and the impact experienced by the characters. The results of the analysis show that there is anxiety related to romance problems. In addition, the forms of self-defense mechanisms used by the characters are sublimation, apathy, repression, and formation reactions. The character Gala feels the impact of the self-defense mechanism, namely the character's self-acceptance as a single woman. Meanwhile, Bara and Aiman get a sense of loss."
