"Beberapa penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa daun alpukat (Persea americana, Mill) dapat digunakan untuk hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek antihipertensi dari ekstrak daun alpukat, dimana digunakan etanol sebagai pelarutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan tikus jantan dan betina (Rattus novergicus) galur Sprague dawley dengan berat badan 150 - 220 gram sebanyak 48 ekor yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL); kelompok I sebagai kontrol normal diberikan CMC 0,5%, kelompok II sebagai kontrol induksi diberikan NaCl, kelompok III diberikan ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dosis 1, kelompok IV diberikan ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dosis 2, kelompok V diberikan ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dosis 3 dan kelompok VI sebagai kontrol pembanding bahan uji diberikan Tensigard®. Untuk kelompok III, IV, V dan VI masing-masing dinduksi dengan NaCl 3,75 g/kg bb selama 14 hari selanjutnya pada hari yang ke-15 diberikan bahan uji untuk kelompok III, IV dan V dengan dosis (10 mg/ kg bb tikus; 20 mg/ kg bb tikus; 40 mg/ kg bb tikus), sedangkan untuk kelompok VI diberikan obat pembanding fitofarmaka yaitu Tensigard®. Pada hari yang ke- 29 dilakukan pengukuran tekanan darah arteri rata-rata (TDAR) dengan metode langsung menggunakan manometer air raksa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemberian ekstrak etanol daun alpukat efektif sebagai antihipertensi pada tikus jantan dan betina ditunjukkan pada ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dosis 3 (40 mg/ kg bb tikus). Kekuatan efek antihipertensi ekstrak etanol daun alpukat lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan Tensigard®, ditinjau dari penurunan TDAR.

Some researches have been known that avocado leaves (Persea americana, Mill) can be used to antihypertension. The purpose of this research that to know the effect of antihypertension from avocado leaves ethanol extract which has been used ethanol as solvents. In this research used male and female rats (Rattus novergicus) from Sprague dawley races with body weight 150 - 220 grams as much 48 which was divided to 6 groups with complete random design method; group I as normal control was given 0,5% CMC, group II as induced control was given NaCl, group III was given avocado leaves ethanol extract first doses, group IV was given avocado leaves ethanol extract second doses, group V was given avocado leaves ethanol extract third doses and group VI as test substances compared control was given Tensigard®. For group III, IV, V and VI was induced with NaCl 3,75 g/kg weight body within 14 days then day 15th was given test substances for group III, IV, and V with doses (10 mg/ kg rats body weight; 20 mg/ kg rats body weight; 40 mg/ kg rats body weight), while for group VI was given phytopharmaca compared medicine was tensigard®. On day 29th was done measurement of average artery blood pressure with direct method used mercury manometer. Based on the result of research the administer avocado leaves ethanol extract gave effect as antihypertension to male and female rats that were showed on avocado leaves ethanol extract third doses (40mg/kg rats body weight). the strength of antihypertension effects from avocado leaves ethanol extract was lower than tensigard® showed from the average artery blood pressure reduction"

"ABSTRACT
The adolescents fertility aged 10-14 years is one of the national and international focus of attention as outlined in Sustainable Development in 2030 target 3.7. To fulfill these targets, there is 3.7.2 indicator regarding adolescent fertility (10-14 and 15-19 years). The indicator that was used to measure adolescent fertility is the Age-Specific Fertility Rate (ASFR). The availability of information about this indicator can help the stakeholders to understand their current situations and their needs in order to prepare for healthier adolescence and adulthood. So far, there is not much information about ASFR 10-14. Usually, ASFR is calculated for aged 15-49 years. It is because of adolescent fertility aged 10-14 are very rare cases and the data sources that can be used to calculate them are limited. The aim of this study is to calculate ASFR aged 10-14 years in Indonesia use the 2012 IDHS, 2015 inter-census population survey, and the 2017 IDHS data. The methods used are direct method, a direct method with modification, and Schmertmann method. Based on calculations from three methods, it can be concluded that ASFR aged 10-14 years in Indonesia is still very low (under 1 per 1000 births). That can be interpreted that not many birth cases are found for women aged 10-14 years in Indonesia."

"Daya dukung fondasi dapat dihitung dengan perhitungan direct method CPT. Dikarenakan direct method yang bervariasi, diperlukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui metode manakah yang paling mendekati dengan kondisi aktual di lapangan. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan 8 metode direct method CPT, yaitu: Schmertmann, De Ruiter dan Beringen, LCPC, Aoki De Alencar, Penpile, Price dan Wardle, Philipponnat, dan Wesley. Jumlah data yang digunakan 55 tiang dengan jenis fondasi tiang bor dan fondasi tiang pancang. Hasil perhitungan direct method CPT dan hasil loading test, hasil loading test yang diinterpretasi dengan metode Chin dan Decourt dan hasil PDA, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan persamaan best-fit line, rata-rata dan standar deviasi, dan log distribusi normal dengan keakuratan 20%. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa metode LCPC merupakan metode yang paling cocok digunakan di wilayah Jakarta karena hasil perhitungannya yang cenderung mendekati hasil interpretasi loading test, dengan nilai rank index terkecil di antara direct method lainnya. Direct method CPT lebih direkomendasikan untuk digunakan sebagai perhitungan daya dukung fondasi tiang pancang.

There are several direct methods to estimate bearing capacity of pile foundation using cone penetration test (CPT). Hence, it is interesting to evaluate which method that suitable for a certain condition or specific locations. In this study, 55 foundation piles, which consisted of bored piles and driven piles, are used in order to determine the bearing capacity using the following methods: Schmertmann, de Ruiter dan Beringen, LCPC, Aoki and De Alencar, Penpile, Price and Wardle, Philipponnat and Wesley. The pile capacities will be compared to the measured pile capacities, from static pile load tests, which interpreted by Chin method and Decourt method, and the results from PDA testing. The statistical analyses used in this paper are the best fit line, mean and standard deviation, and log distribution with 20% of accuracy. Result shows that LCPC method is the most suitable direct method used in studied location as it has the best agreement among the seventh methods. The cone penetration test direct method is more suitable used for driven piles."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris mengenai kemampuan komponen arus kas metode langsung dalam memprediksi arus kas masa depan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 217 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2000 hingga tahun 2012. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa baik arus kas agregat maupun arus kas disagregat dapat memprediksi arus kas di masa depan dari periode t+1 hingga periode t+4. Dibandingkan dengan arus kas agregat, kemampuan prediksi yang lebih baik dimiliki oleh arus kas disagragat, kecuali pada jeda waktu empat tahun setelahnya. Hasil ini tetap konsisten setelah dimasukkan variabel kontrol serta dilakukan analisis pertahun dan perindustri.

This research aimed to give empirical evidence about the ability of cash flow components from direct method for predicting future cash flow. The samples of this research are 217 firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2000 to 2012. This research find that both aggregate and diseggregate cash flows have the ability for predicting future cash flow for year t+1 until t+4. Compare with aggregate cash flow, disaggregate cash flow has better ability for predicting future cash flow, except for year t+4. These results are consistent after adding control variables as well as analysis for each industry and each year."
