Abstrak :
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran employee voice dan resilience terhadap turnover intention dengan mediasi emotional exhaustion. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian payung yang dilakukan oleh tim riset Universitas Indonesia (UI), Tufts University (TU), dan Real-Time Analytics (RTA) Vietnam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner dengan total responden 2.781 pekerja garmen pada lima provinsi di Indonesia. Setelah reliabilitas dan validitas alat ukur dikonfirmasi, pemodelan persamaan struktural dilakukan untuk memeriksa hubungan yang dihipotesiskan. Temuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah: emotional exhaustion memediasi komplementer hubungan employee voice dengan turnover intention dan memediasi kompetitif hubungan resilience pekerja dengan turnover intention.
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the roles of employee voice and resilience to turnover intention through emotional exhaustion as mediator. This study is a part of research project between Universitas Indonesia (UI), Tufts University (TU), and Real-Time Analytics (RTA) Vietnam. Data were collected using surveys to 2.867 garment workers in five provinces in Indonesia. The measurement in this study were confirmed valid and reliable before the researcher conducted structural equation modelling to examine the hypothesized relationships. The main finding were: emotional exhaustion complementary mediated the relationship between employee voice and turnover intention, and competitively mediated the relationship between employee resilience and turnover intention.

Meningkatnya fenomena kelelahan emosional yang dialami karyawan milenial di situasi pandemi Covid-19, mayoritas disebabkan oleh penyesuaian sistem kerja yang dilakukan organisasi. Penyesuaian ini berdampak pada peningkatan jam dan beban kerja yang signifikan. Penelitian korelasional ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara beban kerja kuantitatif dengan kelelahan emosional yang dimediasi oleh keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan. Partisipan penelitian merupakan karyawan milenial yang berdomisili di Indonesia dan telah bekerja di suatu perusahaan selama minimal enam bulan. Diperoleh sebanyak 185 data partisipan yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi dengan metode Hayes PROCESS Macro Model 4. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung beban kerja terhadap kelelahan emosional yang dimediasi oleh keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan, b = 0,26, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,40, 1,10]. Ditemukan juga pengaruh tidak langsung dalam model mediasi, b = 0,13, BCa CI [0,17, 0,55], dengan 40% varians kelelahan emosional dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel prediktor dan mediator. Terakhir, ditemukan pengaruh total dari beban kerja terhadap kelelahan emosional, b = 0,39, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,72, 1,44]. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, maka hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya, semakin tinggi beban kerja yang dimiliki karyawan, maka semakin rendah kepuasan penerapan keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan yang berdampak pada meningkatnya kelelahan emosional. ......The increasing phenomenon of emotional exhaustion experienced by millennial employees during Covid-19 pandemic situation mostly caused by new work system adjusted by organization. This adjustment resulted in a significantly increased working hour and workload. This correlational study conducted to analyze the relationship between workload and exhaustion mediated by work-life balance. Study participants are millennial employees who lived in Indonesia and have worked at current company for at least six months. Total of 185 participants data obtained and analyzed using regression analysis technique with Hayes PROCESS Macro Model 4. The results showed direct effect of workload on emotional exhaustion mediated by work-life balance, b = 0,26, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,40, 1,10]. An indirect effect also found in this mediation model, b = 0,13, BCa CI [0,17, 0,55], with 40% variance of emotional exhaustion explained by predictor and mediator. Finally, the total effect of workload on emotional exhaustion also found, b = 0,39, p < 0,05, BCa CI [0,72, 1,44]. Based on these findings, the study hypothesis was accepted. Employee with higher workload will have lower satisfaction of work-life balance and affecting to higher level of emotional exhaustion.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention pada pekerja garment di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data yang didapatkan dari tim peneliti payung yang diambil menggunakan metode survey. Sebanyak 2781 pekerja garment yang tersebar pada lima provinsi di Indonesia menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan metode structural equation model (SEM). Hasil group discussion digunakan untuk mendukung hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psychological empowerment berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention serta tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan dari workload terhadap turnover intention. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa emotional exhaustion memediasi penuh hubungan workload dengan turnover intention pada pekerja garment. ......This study aims to determine the factors that influence turnover intention on garment workers in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data using survey methods. A total of 2781 garment workers spread across five provinces in Indonesia were used as samples in this study. Hypothesis testing is done using the structural equation model (SEM) method. Data from group discussions were used to provide additional support to the results of the research. The results showed that empowerment negatively related to turnover intention and no significant relationship of workload on turnover intention. In addition, the results of the study also showed that emotional exhaustion fully mediated the linkage between workload and turnover intention in garment workers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara felt accountability, perceived resources, emotional exhaustion terhadap intuitive decision making di Kontraktor Pertambangan Batubara ABC dan program intervensi perceived resources coaching untuk meningkatkan kualitas intuitive decision making.Sampel penelitian ini N = 167 adalah karyawan Kontrktor Pertambangan Batubara ABC yang bekerja di lingkungan kerja yang berbahaya, yang berpotensi untuk mereka melakukan intuitive decision making pada situasi emergensi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara felt accountability terhadap intuitive decision making ? = 0.123 p = 0.149 dan antara emotional exhaustion terhadap intuitive decision making ? = 0.141 p = 0.074 . Ditemukan hubungan antara perceived resources terhadap intuitive decision making ? = 0.291 p = 0.000 Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan persepsi akan perceived resources akan meningkatkan kualitas intuitive decision making karyawan Kontraktor Pertambangan Batubara ABC pada situasi emergensi. Oleh karena itu,program intervesi yang disusun untuk meningkatkan kualitas intuitive decision making pada situasi emergensi di Kontraktor Pertambangan Batubara ABC adalah Perceived Resources Coaching.
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the relationship between felt accountability, perceived resources, and emotional exhaustion toward intuitive decision making at Coal Mine Contractor ABC and the intervention program of perceived resources coaching to improve the quality of intuitive decision making. The sample of this study N 167 are the employees of Coal Mine Contractor ABC who work in hazardous work environments that may cause them making intuitive decision in an emergency situation. The result demonstrates that there is no correlation between felt accountability toward intuitive decision making 0.123 p 0.149 and between emotional exhaustion toward intuitive decision making 0.141 p 0.074 . There is correlation between perceived resources toward intuitive decision making 0.291 p 0.000 This analysis result indicates that increased perception of perceived resources will improve the quality of decision making of Coal Mine Contractor ABC rsquo s employees in emergency situation. Therefore, the intervention program named Perceived Resources Coaching is developed to increase the quality of ABC employees in making decision in emergency situation.

Turnover intention merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang menjadi perhatian khusus bagi industri garmen di Indonesia. Fakta kurangnya pekerja di industri ini dapat memperburuk kondisi apabila pihak manajemen tidak mampu mencegah turnover intention pekerja garmen yang dapat berakibat pada actual turnover. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh work-family conflict dan resilience terhadap turnover intention dengan peran mediasi emotional exhaustion. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian payung yang dilakukan oleh Universitas Indonesia (UI), Tufts University, dan Real-Time Analytics (RTA) Vietnam dengan melibatkan 127 pabrik garmen dan 3.800 responden dari enam provinsi di Indonesia. Namun, jumlah data yang valid dan dapat digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 2.897 responden. Pembuktian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menguji hubungan variabel melalui Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil membuktikan bahwa pengaruh work-family conflict dan resilience terhadap turnover intention secara penuh dimediasi oleh emotional exhaustion. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingginya tingkat work-family conflict dan rendahnya resilience pekerja akan mendorong munculnya turnover intention apabila pekerja mengalami emotional exhaustion. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak manajerial untuk terus memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan kerja di industri garmen Indonesia dengan cara memahami faktor apa saja yang menimbulkan emotional exhaustion. ......Turnover intention is one of problems faced by garment industries in Indonesia while this condition becomes worse because of workers shortage occured in Indonesia. This research aims to examine the effect of work-family conflict and resilience on turnover intention through the mediating role of emotional exhaustion. This research is a part of collaborative study conducted by Universitas Indonesia (UI), Tufts University, and Vietnam Real-Time Analytics (RTA) which involves 127 selected garment factories with a sample of 3.800 garment workers from six provinces. However, the valid data that can be used in this research are only 2.897. Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used to proved the hypotheses. The results show that the effect of work-family conflict and resilience on turnover intention are fully mediated by emotional exhaustion. In conclusion, the higher level of work-family conflict and the lower level of resilience can lead to the higher level of turnover intention only if the workers are emotionally exhausted. This research gives insight for management to provide better working condition in garment industry by identifying factors of emotional exhaustion.

Belum terpenuhinya kebutuhan SDM mendorong Badan Standardisasi Nasional (BSN) untuk menemukan solusi atas permasalahan terkait role overload dan efeknya terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa pengaruh role overload terhadap OCB pegawai BSN yang dimediasi oleh emotional exhaustion serta dimoderasi oleh dukungan otonomi dari atasan. Model penelitian disusun berdasarkan teori Conservation of Resource dan teori Self-Determination. Seluruh responden penelitian ini merupakan pegawai tetap BSN. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan survei online dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan 212 data pegawai BSN diperoleh hasil yang mendukung model hipotesis dan menjelaskan hubungan antarvariabel penelitian. Role overload diketahui memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak langsung terhadap OCB melalui emotional exhaustion, dan dukungan otonomi dari atasan sebagai penyangga efek negatif dari role overload terhadap emotional exhaustion, serta secara tidak langsung terhadap OCB. Hasil ini membantu kita untuk memahami variabel intervening yang menjelaskan hubungan negatif antara OCB dan challenge stressors. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi mengenai praktik manajerial pada instansi pemerintahan untuk mengurangi efek negatif dari role overload.
ABSTRACT
The lack of human resources encourages the National Standardization Agency (BSN) to find solutions to role overload problems and their effect on the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The objective of this research is to examine the influence of role overload on OCB of BSN employees, mediated by emotional exhaustion and moderated by supervisor autonomy support. The proposed model was built based on the Conservation of Resource theory and the theory of Self-Determination. All of the participants in this study were permanents employees of BSN. Data were collected using an online survey, and all analyses were carried out using SEM-PLS. Based on the study of 212 employees from BSN, the results provide support for a hypothetical model that determines the correlation among all variables. The role overload was found to have an indirect and negative effect on OCB through emotional exhaustion, and supervisor autonomy support was found to buffer the negative relationship between role overload and emotional exhaustion, and indirectly to OCB. These findings help us to understand the intervening variable that explain the negative relationship between OCB and challenge stressors. Furthermore, this findings provide information about managerial practices at government agencies to reduce the negative effects of role overload.

Kondisi tempat kerja yang merugikan menyangkut kesejahteraan pekerja dapat memengaruhi persepsi pekerja terhadap organisasi. Bila perusahaan gagal menciptakan kondisi kerja yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dasar pekerja, konsekuensinya yakni menyebabkan turnover intention melalui emotional exhaustion yang dialami pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari verbal abuse dan abusive supervision terhadap turnover intention melalui mediasi emotional exhaustion pada pekerja pabrik garmen di Indonesia. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan melakukan survei terhadap 2.897 pekerja di pabrik garmen, di Pulau Jawa, Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa emotional exhaustion memediasi secara parsial pengaruh verbal abuse dan abusive supervision terhadap turnover intention secara berurutan.

 


ABSTRACT

Adverse workplace conditions, especially concerning the welfare of workers can affect workers' perceptions of the organization. If the company fails to address working conditions that can meet the basic needs of workers, the consequences are causing turnover intention through emotional exhaustion experienced by workers. This study aims to determine the effects of verbal abuse and abusive supervision toward turnover intention through emotional exhaustion as mediation of garment workers in Indonesia. The research data was obtained by surveying 2,897 garment workers, Java, Indonesia. The research method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study showed that emotional exhaustion partially mediates the influence of verbal abuse and abusive supervision on the turnover intention sequentially.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kepuasan kerja dan emotional exhaustion terhadap komitmen afektif perawat di Rumah Sakit XYZ. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 185 orang perawat di Rumah Sakit XYZ cabang Bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan konklusif serta menggunakan structural equation model. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada komitmen afektif dan emotional exhaustion berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan emotional exhaustion tidak berpengaruh terhadap komitmen afektif.
The aim of this research is to study the effect of job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion to nurses affective commitment at Hospital XYZ. The respondents of this study were 185 nurses in Hospital XYZ branch Bekasi. This research is quantitative descriptive and conclusive interpretive and using structural equation model. The result of this research found that job satisfaction have positive and significant effect to affective commitment, emotional exhaustion have negative and significant effect to job satisfaction, and emotional exhaustion doesn't have effect on job satisfaction.

Identity Conflict adalah ketidaksesuaian yang dirasakan seseorang pada dua atau lebih identitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah positive gender identity dan female role model berpengaruh terhadap identity conflict dan berdampak pada emotional exhaustion dengan sampel pemimpin wanita (N=151) di Indonesia. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survey online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa female role model tidak berpengaruh terhadap identity conflict. Ditemukan bahwa positive gender identity berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap identity conflict dan identity conflict berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap emotional exhaustion.
ABSTRACT
Identity conflict is an incongruence perceived by someone in two or more identities. This research is aimed to examine whether positive gender identity and female role model had any effect on identity conflict and in the end towards emotional exhaustion. Sample of this research are women leaders in Indonesia (N=151). The method used in the study is online survey. The results shows that there are no effect between female role model toward identity conflict. There are negatively significant effect of positive gender identity toward identity conflict and positively significant effect of identity conflict toward emotional exhaustion

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji model penelitian yang menyelidiki kelelahan emosional sebagai mediator pengaruh work-family conflict dan perceived organizational support terhadap turnover intention pekerja industri garmen di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian payung yang dilakukan oleh tim riset Universitas Indonesia UI , Tufts University TU , dan Real-Time Analytics RTA Vietnam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yang diberikan oleh tim peneliti Universitas Indonesia. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dirancang oleh tim peneliti antara Universitas Indonesia UI , Tufts University TU , dan Real-Time Analytics RTA Vietnam. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan 2071 responden valid dari lima provinsi yaitu DKI Jakarta, Banten, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, dan Yogyakarta. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan untuk menguji delapan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model SEM dengan aplikasi Lisrel 8.7. Hasil uji hipotesis dan analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa work-family conflict memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap perceived organizational support, perceived organizational support memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap emotional exhaustion, emotional exhaustions tidak memediasi pengaruh work-family conflict dan perceived organizational support terhadap turnover intention, serta perceived organizational support memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap turnover intention.
ABSTRACT
This study seeks to test a research model that investigates emotional exhaustion as a mediator of the effects of work family conflict work family conflict and perceived organizational support on turnover intention to garment industry rsquo s worker in Indonesia. This study is a part of umbrella research between Universitas Indonesia UI , Tufts University TU , and Real Time Analytics RTA Vietnam. This study uses a quantitative approach by using secondary data that prepared by researcher team of Universitas Indonesia. Questionnaire in this study is designed by researcher team between Universitas Indonesia UI , Tufts University TU , and Real Time Analytics RTA Vietnam. Eight proposed hypotheses was tested by using Structural Equation Modeling SEM with Lisrel 8.7 application based on secondary data collected from 2071 valid respondents around garment industry worker in DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta Province. Based on the results of SEM, it can be concluded that work family conflict has significant negative effect on perceived organizational support, perceived organizational support has significant negative effect on emotional exhaustion, emotional exhaustion doesn rsquo t mediate the effect of work family conflict and perceived organizational support on turnover intention, also perceived organizational support memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap turnover intention.
