"Dalam Melakukan aktivitas sehari hari, banyak manusia yang tidak terlalu memperhatikan hal-hal kecil dilingkungan sekitarnya. Contoh sederhananya dapat kita ambil tangga. Kebanyakan dari tangga hanya dibuat berdasarkan bentuk dan keinginan dari pemilik rumah sendiri. Padahal jika ditelusuri lebih dalam tangga tersebut dapat beresiko menyebabkan terjadinya WSDM.
Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mempelajari desain tangga yang nyaman sesuai dengan postur orang Indonesia dalam lingkungan virtual dengan menggunakan software simulasi ergonomic, Jack 8.2.
Dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada tinggi anak tangga dan tinggi handrail yang mengacu pada tangga SNI. Desain tangga yang terbentuk dari seluruh konfigurasi yang diujikan dinilai dengan menggunakan metode Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). Dan hasil dari penelitian ini berupa usulan desain tangga yang ergonomis untuk orang Indonesia.

In performing daily activities, many people are not attention about a little things in their environment. A simple example is stairs. Most of stairs had made based on the shape and the desire of the owner of the house itself. In fact, if it explored more deeply, the stairs can be lead risky to WSDM.
This research attempts to study the stairs comfortable design that accordance with the posture of Indonesian people in a virtual environment using simulation software ergonomics, Jack 8.2.
This study focused on high risers and high staircase handrail which refers to the SNI standart. Stairs design formed by entire configuration tested was assessed by using Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). And the result of this research is a design proposal for the stair ergonomics design in Indonesia.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Smartphone User Interface yang ramah pengguna untuk sistem B@LIS - SMILE, sistem pemantauan energi nuklir yang digunakan oleh BAPETEN. Studi ini menggunakan prinsip user centered design untuk memastikan bahwa antarmuka disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan pengalaman penggunanya. Antarmuka yang ada saat ini kurang memiliki kegunaan dan pengalaman pengguna, sehingga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam memantau dan mengelola energi nuklir. User centered design adalah metodologi yang memprioritaskan desain berdasarkan perasaan, keinginan, dan tujuan pengguna, memastikan bahwa kebutuhan mereka berada di garis depan. Tampilan yang ada saat ini kurang memiliki kenyamanan penggunaan dan kepuasan bagi pengguna, sehingga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam memantau dan mengelola energi nuklir. Studi ini mengusulkan Smartphone User Interface baru yang menggabungkan prinsip user centered design, termasuk navigasi yang jelas, ikon intuitif, dan tata letak responsif. Desain diuji menggunakan pengujian kegunaan yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kepuasan penggunanya. Studi ini berkontribusi pada bidang desain yang berpusat pada pengguna dalam konteks sistem pemantauan energi nuklir pemerintah. Hal ini menyoroti pentingnya mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan pengalaman pengguna dalam perancangan sistem tersebut untuk meningkatkan kegunaan dan efektivitasnya.

This research aims to design a user-friendly Smartphone User Interface for the B@LIS - SMILE system, a nuclear energy monitoring system used by the Indonesian government agency BAPETEN. This study uses user-centered design principles to ensure that the interface is tailored to the needs and experience of its users. The current B@LIS - SMILE interface lacks usability and good user experience, resulting in difficulties in monitoring and managing nuclear energy. This study proposes a new Smartphone User Interface that incorporates user-centered design principles, including clear navigation, intuitive icons, and responsive layout. The new design is tested using usability testing that results in significant improvements in the satisfaction of their users. This study contributes to the field of user-centered design in the context of government nuclear energy monitoring systems. This highlights the importance of considering user needs and experiences in the design of such systems to improve their usability and effectiveness. This research provides a case study of the BAPETEN B@LIS - SMILE system, which can be a reference for future research and development in this area."

"ABSTRACT
Kesalahan desain serta ukuran meja dan kursi di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan terbentuknya postur tubuh yang membahayakan bagi kesehatan siswa. Penelitian ini akan membandingkan ukuran meja dan kursi sekolah yang sudah digunakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan SMK Yaspi Al-Makmur dengan ukuran tubuh siswa untuk mengetahui apakah meja dan kursi ini sudah didesain dengan ukuran yang benar sehingga membentuk postur duduk yang benar. Perhitungan nilai standar ukuran meja dan kursi didapat dari nilai persentil dengan uji deskriptif menggunakan SPSS. Dalam penelitian ini didapakan ukuran dimensi meja dan kursi SMK yang ergonomis dengan antropometri siswa.

ABSTRACT
Improper design and size of school furniture can lead to formation of dengerous posture for student rsquo s health. This research was comparing the dimensions of school furniture to student rsquo s dimensions, in vocational high school, and determines whether this type of furniture is well designed. Morover, this research aslo studied about the sitting posture of vocatonal high school students formed by the design of school furniture. Calculation of standard value of table and chair size obtained from percentile value with descriptive test using SPSS. This research have found the dimension size of the ergonomic tables and chairs for vocational high school students in accordance with anthropometry data. "Penelitian ini mengkaji aspek ergonomis pada desain kabin pengemudi kendaraan tempur tipe Armored Personnel Carrier menggunakan model Virtual Environment. Tujuannya adalah mengevaluasi desain aktual kabin pengemudi kendaraan tempur dan menentukan konfigurasi paling ergonomis ditinjau dari kemiringan kursi, ketinggian kursi, dan jarak pedal akselerator dan rem dari kursi tanpa mengabaikan spesifikasi standar militer. Dihasilkan 18 buah konfigurasi yang akan dianalisis. Pengambilan data kebiasaan postur dilakukan dengan observasi langsung pada personil TNI dan kemudian direkonstruksi dan di lakukan analisis menggunakan menggunakan software Jack 6.1. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) yang mengintegrasikan analisis dari tiga metode analisis: Low Back Analysis, Ovako Working Posture Analysis, dan Rapid Upper Limb Assessment. Hasil penelitian berupa usulan konfigurasi kabin pengemudi yang ergonomis bagi personil TNI.

This research studies the ergonomic aspect of the driver cabin of Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) using virtual environment model. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the actual design of the driver cabin of combat vehicle and determine the most ergonomic configuration which concerns on seat angle, seat height, and the distance between seat and accelerator and brake pedals without compromising military specification standard. There are 18 configuration models that are made and analyzed in this study. Actual driving postures of military personnel are being observed and reconstructed on virtual environment using to be analyzed using Jack 6.1 software task analysis toolkits which are Low Back Analysis, Ovako Working Posture Analysis, dan Rapid Upper Limb Assessment. The analysis result was integrated using Posture Evaluation Index approach. The purpose of this study is to design an ergonomic driver cabin models for Indonesian Army personnel."

"Dalam mengoperasikan mesin derek (crane), tentara yang menjadi operator duduk dalam keadaan statis dan perlu tingkat konsentrasi tinggi. Hal tersebut dapat beresiko menyebabkan terjadinya WSDM. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mempelajari postur duduk yang ditimbulkan oleh desain kursi penumpang dalam lingkungan virtual dengan menggunakan software simulasi ergonomi, Jack 6.1.
Penyesuaian dilakukan pada tinggi kursi, kemiringan sandaran kursi, tinggi tuas panel, dan pergeseran kursi untuk mendapatkan konfigurasi kursi yang ideal bagi tentara. Postur duduk yang terbentuk dari seluruh konfigurasi yang diujikan dinilai dengan menggunakan metode Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). Hasil penelitian berupa usulan kursi yang ergonomis bagi tentara Indonesia.

While being transported using Armoured Personnel Carrier Vehicles, soldiers are seated in is static posture and giving a risk of WMSD. This study attempts to analyze the sitting posture caused by a passenger seat design in the virtual environment, using an ergonomics software simulation, Jack 6.1.
Adjustments have been made on the high of seat, back slope seat and distance of hand handle to obtain the ideal configuration for the soldiers. Sitting posture which is formed from all the tested configurations assessed using the method of Posture Evaluation Index (PEI). The purpose from this study is to design an ergonomic seat passenger models for Indonesian Soldiers.
