Skripsi ini membahas mengenai bagaimana situasi dan kondisi pengajaran Bahasa Mandarin sebagai bahasa asing kedua dalam tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas di Indonesia. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis melakukan studi kasus di SMA Negeri 78, Kemanggisan, Jakarta Barat. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis, didapatkan hasil mengenai situasi juga kondisi pengajaran Bahasa Mandarin, peran guru, siswa, dan buku ajar dalam kegiatan kelas Bahasa Mandarin. Selain itu, penulis juga mendeskripsikan capaian pemelajaran Bahasa Mandarin di kelas XI, SMA Negeri 78. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus yang terdiri dari penelitian lapangan dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya kesesuaian metode pengajaran yang digunakan oleh pengajar dengan kurikulum sekolah dan strategi pengajaran di luar metode pengajaran yang digunakan oleh pengajar karena adanya perbedaan capaian kemampuan Bahasa Mandarin di setiap kelas Bahasa Mandarin.

ABSTRACT
The focus of this study is to discuss about how the situation and condition of teaching Mandarin as second foreign language in senior high school level in Indonesia. In this thesis, the author conducted a case study at SMA Negeri 78, Kemanggisan, West Jakarta. From the results of research, obtained the results about the situation as well as conditions of teaching Mandarin, the role of teachers, students, and textbooks in the activities of Mandarin class. In addition, the author also describes the achievements of Mandarin learning in the class XI, SMA Negeri 78. This research uses case study research method consisting of field research and literature study. The results conclude that there is a suitability of teaching methods used by teachers with school curricula and teaching strategies beyond the teaching methods used by teacher due to differences in the achievement of Mandarin abilities in every Mandarin class.

Literary texts were no longer used in foreign-language classroom settings, once the grammar-translation method was excluded through other foreign-language teaching methods. These texts recovered significance several decades later in more advanced forms through communicative-language teaching methods. There are positive and negative aspects to using authentic literary text in the second language classroom context, but many language learners find associated benefits. Among the numerous positive aspects, the most important is that literature is authentic text. The use of it helps students gain important linguistic, cultural and personal insight into the language to learn.

Setiap bahasa memiliki sistem yang berbeda dalam menyusun kalimat kala lampau. Dalam bahasa Belanda terdapat seperangkat aturan linguistik yang perlu diperhatikan untuk dapat membuat kalimat kala lampau dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan kalimat kala lampau bahasa Belanda imperfectum dan perfectum oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan data berupa transkrip hasil berbicara 8 mahasiswa semester 4 tahun ajar 2021/2022 Program Studi Belanda FIB UI, yang dianalisis menggunakan teori surface strategy taxonomy oleh Dulay, dkk (1982) beserta aturan pembentukan kalimat imperfectum dan perfectum oleh Ridwansyah (2008). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 tipe kesalahan yang dilakukan yaitu kesalahan penghilangan, penambahan, dan kesalahan bentuk, dengan frekuensi kesalahan terbanyak berupa kesalahan bentuk. Faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya kesalahan adalah kecenderungan mahasiswa yang mengacu pada aturan tata bahasa ibu yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing pertama yaitu bahasa Inggris, serta kurangnya perhatian pada kata kerja tidak teratur dan kesesuaian kata kerja bantu. ......Every language has a set of distinguished systems in constructing past tense sentences. There’s a set of linguistic rules that need to be considered in order to produce a correct form of past tense sentences in Dutch language. This study aims to understand the usage of imperfectum and perfectum of students in the Dutch past tense sentences. Using a descriptive method with data in the form of speaking transcripts by 8 students of the 4th semester Dutch Study Program FIB UI academic year 2021/2022, analyzed using the surface strategy taxonomy theory by Dulay, et al (1982) along with the rules of imperfectum and perfectum sentence formation by Ridwansyah (2008). The results showed that there were 3 types of errors, namely omission, addition, and misformation, with the highest frequency of errors in the form of misformation. Factors that influence the occurrence of errors are the tendency of students to refer to the grammar rules of the mother tongue, namely Indonesian and the first foreign language, namely English, as well as the lack of attention to irregular verbs and the suitability of auxiliary verbs.
