ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan civility di konteks media sosial pada 278 remaja. Regulasi emosi diukur dengan difficulties of emotion regulation scale (DERS) yang disusun oleh Gratz & Roemer (2004), dan telah diadaptasi oleh Listyani (2014). Sedangkan civility diukur dengan Incivility in Online Learning Environment Scale (IOLES) yang disusun oleh Clark, Wreth & Ahten (2012) yang telah diadaptasi. Data diolah dengan teknik statistik Pearson Product Moment. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi dengan civility di konteks media sosial pada remaja (r = 0,306; p<0,01). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin meningkat kemampuan regulasi emosi seseorang maka semakin meningkat pula tingkah laku civil. Implikasi dan saran penelitian didiskusikan lebih lanjut.
ABSTRACT
This study examined the relationship between emotion regulation and civility in social media context among 278 adolescences. Emotion Regulation is measured by Difficulties of Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) which is developed by Gratz & Roemer (2004) and adapted by Listyani (2014). In this research, civility is measured by Incivility in Online Learning Environment Scale (IOLES) which is developed by Clark, Wreth & Ahten (2012) and has been adapted. Data was processed using Pearson Product Moment method. The result revealed the positive and significant correlation between emotion regulation and civility in social media context among adolescence (r = 0,306; p<0,01). The conclusion is higher level of emotion regulation predicts higher level of civility. Research implications and suggestions are discussed.

Pesatnya pertumbuhan sektor industri kreatif di Indonesia diperhitungkan akan menjadi salah satu dari tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia di masa mendatang, salah satu yang menjadi alasan kuat industri ini berkembang pesat tidak lain disebabkan oleh para freelancer yang terus berkarya dalam industri ini. Walaupun begitu karena masih belum banyak regulasi yang mengikat tentang bagaimana tata cara praktik kerja yang etis antar klien dengan para pekerja lepas sehingga sering kali menghasilkan ketidakpastian dalam bekerja, tekanan kerja yang berlebihan dan ketidaksopanan antar klien dan para pekerja lepas baik secara sengaja atau tidak sengaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Work Uncertainty, Perceived Work Overload, dan Customer Incivility terhadap Work Performance yang dimediasi oleh Work Stress dalam melihat pengaruh antar variabel tersebut. Sebanyak 244 responden yang merupakan pekerja freelance dalam industri kreatif berhasil dikumpulkan datanya dan di olah dengan metode Partial Least Squared - Structural Equation Method (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa Work Performance dipengaruhi secara positif oleh Work Stress. Untuk Work Stress sendiri dipengaruhi secara negatif oleh Work Uncertainty, Perceived Work Overload, dan Customer Incivility. ......The rapid growth of the creative industry sector in Indonesia is calculated to be one of the backbones of the Indonesian economy in the future, one of the strong reasons this industry is growing rapidly is none other than the freelancers who continue to work in this industry. However, because there are still not many binding regulations on how ethical work practices are carried out between clients and freelancers, it often results in uncertainty at work, excessive work pressure and disrespect between clients and freelancers either intentionally or unintentionally. This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Uncertainty, Perceived Work Overload, and Customer Incivility on Work Performance mediated by Work Stress in seeing the effect between these variables. A total of 244 respondents who are freelance workers in the creative industry have successfully collected data and processed using the Partial Least Squared - Structural Equation Method (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study concluded that Work Performance is positively influenced by Work Stress. For Work Stress itself is negatively affected by Work Uncertainty, Perceived Work Overload, and Customer Incivility

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kembali pengaruh customer incivility terhadap turnover intention dalam konteks karyawan yang berhubungan dengan pelanggan di sektor perhotelan Indonesia. Dengan conservation of resources theory (COR) dan cognitive appraisal theory (CAT), penelitian ini juga mengeksplor bagaimana peran mediasi dari emotional exhaustion dan moderasi dari supervisor procedural support dan emotional support. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei dan didapatkan 140 responden karyawan yang berhubungan dengan pelanggan di sektor perhotelan Indonesia. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis model moderated mediation menggunakan SPSS PROCESS. Hasil mengungkap bahwa customer incivility meningkatkan tingkat emotional exhaustion yang dirasakan oleh karyawan. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa emotional exhaustion secara penuh memediasi hubungan antara customer incivility dan turnover intention. Temuan tidak mendukung supervisor procedural support memiliki peran moderasi, namun supervisor emotional support terbukti mengurangi dampak dari customer incivility terhadap emotional exhaustion. Tingkat supervisor emotional support yang rendah dapat memicu dampak yang lebih besar dari customer incivility terhadap emotional exhaustion karyawan yang berhubungan dengan pelanggan. ......This study aims to explore the effect of customer incivility on turnover intention in the context of customer contact employees in the Indonesian hospitality sector. Applying the conservation of resources theory (COR) and cognitive appraisal theory (CAT), this study also investigated the mediating role of emotional exhaustion and the moderating role of supervisory procedural and emotional support. Data were collected using a survey method, with 140 customer contact employees in the Indonesian hospitality sector as respondents. Moderated mediation analysis was tested using SPSS PROCESS. The results confirmed that customer incivility has a positive relationship with customer contact employees emotional exhaustion. The findings also reveal that emotional exhaustion fully mediates the relationship between customer incivility and turnover intention. There is no significant interaction effect of customer incivility and supervisor procedural support on emotional exhaustion. On the other hand, supervisor emotional support reduces the impact of customer incivility on emotional exhaustion. A low level of supervisor emotional support can trigger a greater impact from customer incivility on emotional exhaustion.
