"ABSTRACTSkripsi ini membahas fungsi partikel modal doch dan ja dalam kalimat dan tindak ilokusi yang terdapat dalam kalimat tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi yang paling banyak terdapat dalam kalimat dengan partikel doch adalah untuk mengembalikan ingatan mitra tutur terhadap situasi yang pernah terjadi. Fungsi yang paling banyak muncul dalam kalimat dengan partikel ja adalah untuk menyatakan opini. Selanjutnya, menyatakan merupakan tindak ilokusi yang paling sering muncul dalam kalimat, baik dengan partikel doch maupun partikel ja.

ABSTRACTThe focus of the study is about the functions of modality particles doch and ja in a sentence and the illocution act in the sentence. This research is a qualitative research with literature review. The result of this research shows that the function of recall is the most common function in the sentence with particle doch. The function of expressing opinion is the most common function in the sentence with particle ja. Moreover, stating is the most common illocution act in the sentences with both particles."

"The celebration of Mawlid has sparked ongoing discussions among traditionalist and modernist Muslims. Traditionalists perceive Mawlid as a cherished tradition symbolizing joy and love for Prophet Muhammad, passed down through generations. Conversely, modernists often deem it heretical, indicating a societal decline. Within this discourse, an unconventional Mawlid phenomenon has emerged—celebrations hosted in cafes in Yogyakarta, primarily attended by Muslim youth, in contrast to the traditional mosque gatherings of older generations. The Cafe-based Mawlid celebration is characterized by a relaxed atmosphere, humor, simplified lectures, and diverse participation, stand out for their uniqueness. This qualitative, phenomenological study delves into the dynamics of Mawlid celebrations in Yogyakarta's cafes, seeking to unveil the motivations propelling Muslim youth participation. This paper argues that the evolution of Mawlid celebrations, initially confined to mosques and exclusive to traditionalist Muslim groups, has now transitioned to public spaces like cafes, welcoming diverse participants. his shift underscores the dynamic interplay between religious traditions and the changing socio-cultural landscape"

"Penelitian ini berfokus pada jenis kalimat tanya dan fungsi kalimat tanya dalam film Ja Ik Wil karya Kees van Nieuwkerk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk dapat menguraikan jenis-jenis kalimat tanya dan fungsi kalimat tanya dalam film tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengelompokkan kalimat berdasarkan jenisnya untuk mendapatkan kalimat-kalimat tanya dalam dialog film tersebut, kemudian menganalisis fungsi dari kalimat tanya yang dilontarkan oleh para tokoh dalam dialog film Ja Ik Wil. Hasil dari penelitian atas kalimat-kalimat tanya dalam dialog tersebut ditemukan bahwa, kalimat tanya dengan jenis gesloten vragen lebih banyak digunakan dibanding dengan kalimat tanya jenis open vragen. Kalimat tanya memiliki daya ilokusi sehingga tidak sekedar untuk bertanya tetapi memiliki fungsi tertentu dalam berbahasa. Dalam film Ja Ik Wil ini ditemukan bahwa kalimat tanya dalam dialog film tersebut memiliki fungsi untuk meminta, seruan, menanyakan pendapat, menanyakan situasi atau keadaan seseorang, menanyakan keberadaan seseorang, tempat dan benda dan menanyakan sebuah kejadian atau peristiwa.

This study focuses on the types of interrogative sentences and the function of interrogative sentences in the film Ja Ik Wil by Kees van Nieuwkerk. The purpose of this research is to describe the types of interrogative sentences and the function of the interrogative sentences in the film. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by grouping sentences based on their type to get the interrogative sentences in the film's dialogue, then analyzing the function of the interrogative sentences raised by the dialogue from the characters in the film Ja Ik Wil. The results of the research on interrogative sentences in the dialogue found that interrogative sentences with the closed-ended question type were more widely used than those with the open-ended question type. An interrogative sentence has illocutionary power so that it is not just asking but has a specific function in language. In the Ja Ik Wil film, it is found that the interrogative sentence in the film's dialogue has a function to request, to exclamation, to ask opinions, ask about someone's situation, ask about someone's existence, ask about places and objects and ask about an event."
