"Anterior crossbite occurs in children and adult. This anterior crossbite could be a dental (pseudo class III) or a skeletal class III malocclusions. A 15 years old young female came to orthodontic clinic RSGM FKGUI with maxillary dental crowding which canines were more protruded. The dental of mandible were more protruded than maxillary dental. The clinical examination, anamnesis, functional analyses and cephalometric evaluation and model study showed that it was a skeletal class III malocclusion with maxillary skeletal retrusion. To treat the anterior crossbite, the inclined bite plane isused for 2 weeks and followed by fixed appliance. After 2 month treatment, the anterior crossbite is resolved. The result of cephalometric evaluation showed that the use of inclined bite plane as a tool is quite effective to resolve this case."

"ABSTRAK Dermatoglyphics is the study of fingerprints and skin patterns. Dermal configurations appear during the 12th week of intrauterine life and are completely established by the 24th week. These configurations, except the overall size, are said to remain constant throughout an individual lifetime. Objective: To assess the relationship between fingerprint patterns and skeletal malocclusion. Methods: Fingerprint patterns were collected using the ink method from 90 subjects who were divided into skeletal class I, II, and III malocclusion groups of 30 subjects each.Results: The loop pattern was more frequent in patients with skeletal class I and II malocclusion, and the whorl pattern was more frequent in those with class III malocclusion. Conclusion: The present study attempted to assess the relationship between dermatoglyphic patterns with skeletal malocclusion to use as an indicator of developingmalocclusion at an early age."

"Class III malocclusion which caused by disharmonious growth of maxilla and mandible are considered as a complex and difficult case to be treated. Although there are many debates concerning the result and stability of the treatment, class III malocclusion is still a challenge to be handled. Many orthodontists agreed that treatment should be done since early ages to prevent malocclusion becoming worst which at the end will need a surgical treatment. This paper will describe the treatment of class III malocclusion on growing patients with variable of difficulties cases. Facemask as orthopedics appliance is chosen to stimulate the growth of maxilla and to modify the growth direction of mandible."

This care report was a treatment of anterior open bite with multiloop edgewise archwire (MEAW). The patient was a class II skeletal pattern nineteen year old girl. The possible etiology of this case was sucking habit and skeletal dysplsia. In 14 months the ideal class I molar and canine relationship was archieved."
