"ABSTRACT
The implementation of quality management system ISO 9001: 2000 is a strategic step of the enterprise to deliver the product and service with high quality to its customer. The reason is because the the satisfaction of consumers is the main goal of organization because it is significant in determining the survival of the company.
PT. X as a company which involve in the furniture industri especially in production of Kitchen
Set and Wardrobe decided to adopt the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 to improve the performance of its product and process, aimed to enhance the client satisfaction. By implementing this system, the company is encouraged to make continoual improvements.
The goal of this research is to investigate how far the actual performance of the company is by doing measurement on some indicators of performance 'such as the level of product defect, percentage of the delivery on time, and the level of the costumer satisfaction concerning the over-all performance of the company: quality of product, design, working methode during the installation process in the client's premises. The result of this measurement is compared with the Quality objectives as a barometer which determine whether the performance of the organization has been suitable
Based on the result of this research during June until August 2004, we find that:
1. The level of the product defect is 2.10% in June, 4.85% in July and 2.93% in August
2. The level of the delivery on time in June is 13.11% and 20% in July
3. The Level of the customer satisfaction is 85.51 % based on the questioner distributed to the client in January-March 2004 by Marketing Department.
Based on the result of the actual performance of the company, compared to the Quality objective, the writer give some recommendations:
1. The company, need to make bussiness process reengineering to help the company to
ddiver product on time to the customer ..
2. To enhance the availability of the raw material in tenns of quantity and quality to prevent the lateness of production schedule
3. The company should analyze the consuments satisfaction on the regular basis to help to know the input for the performance improvement quickly and improve the customer satisfaction.

"ABSTRACT
Produksi susu cair memiliki banyak cacat yang mengakibatkan hilangnya kesempatan untuk mendapat keuntungan yang bisa diperoleh jika kualitas produk sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kualitas produk susu. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas (whats dan bagaimana persyaratan teknis untuk mencapai faktor-faktor tersebut (hows). Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) digunakan untuk mengetahui risiko potensi kegagalan dari faktor yang mendapat bobot tinggi pada tahap QFD. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kebersihan pekerja/operator, alat produksi, dan proses produksi merupakan faktor dengan kepentingan tertinggi dalam mempengaruhi kualitas produk pada industri pengolahan susu. Hasil pengolahan data juga menunjukkan bahwa proses filling dan proses sterilisasi memiliki risiko tertinggi dalam menimbulkan defect dengan Risk Priority Number (RPN) di atas 100. Penyok (body) mendapat RPN sebesar 240, chaneling mendapat RPN sebesar 140, penyok (miring) mendapat RPN sebesar 128, dan scratch mendapat RPN sebesar 120.

ABSTRACT
The production of liquid milk has many defects which results in the loss of the opportunity to gain benefits that can be obtained if the quality of the product complies with the prescribed standards. This study aims to determine what factors influence the quality of dairy products. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is used to find out what factors influence quality (whats) and how to achieve these factors (hows). Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is used to determine the risk of potential failure of factors that achieve high credence at the QFD stage. The results of the data processing show that the sanitation of workers / operators, production equipment, and production processes has the highest importance in influencing product quality in the milk processing industry. The results of the data processing also show that the filling and sterilization process have the highest risk of causing defects with Risk Priority Number (RPN) above 100. Dented (body) receives an RPN of 240, chaneling receives an RPN of 140, dented (skewed) receives an RPN of 128, and scratch receives an RPN of 120."

"Ide dan teori manajemen kualitas dari W. Edward Deming telah diimplementasikan di dunia dalam industri manufacture dan jasa. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji Deming Management Method dengan memasukan interfensi indikator pengukur dalam proyek telekomunikasi dengan studi kasus industri telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisis pengaruh indikator pengukur yang diinterfensikan dan korelasi dari hubungan yang dihipotesiskan semuanya terkait secara positif, diawali dengan analisa hubungan antar variabel dengan menggunakan analisa PLS-SEM. Selanjutnya dianalisa apakah ada dukungan kuat untuk menerapkan ajaran dan gagasan W. Edwards Deming ke peningkatan manajemen kualitas proyek telekomunikasi. Dari rumusan masalah akan dianalisa apa saja yang perlu dievaluasi dari hubungan antara Deming Management Method dan peningkatan manajemen kualitas, dan strategi aplikasi yang dapat meningkatkan manajemen kualitas proyek telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Analisa pemetaan dengan menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan strategi pengembangan yang didapat akan dilihat pengaruhnya dengan studi kasus Project Cloud Phase 2 (sebelum penerapan) dan Project Cloud Phase 3 (setelah penerapan) di PT. XYZ. Pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah diukur dengan angka kepuasan stakeholder dengan menggunakan metode Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan Deming Management Method dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja manajemen kualitas dalam proyek telekomunikasi di Indonesia.
......Quality management ideas and theories from W. Edward Deming have been implemented in the world, especially in the manufacturing and service industries. The focus of this research is to examine the Deming Management Method by including the intervening of the measuring indicators in the telecommunication project with the telecommunications industry case study in Indonesia. In this research, we will analyze the effect of the measured indicators and the correlations of the hypothesized relationships that are all positively related, begin with an analysis of the relationship between variables with the PLS-SEM approach. From the formulation of the problem will be analyzed what needs to be evaluated from the relationship between the Deming Management Method and improving quality management, and strategy that can improve the quality management of telecommunications projects in Indonesia. Mapping analysis use Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method and development strategies obtained will be seen its influence with the Project Cloud Phase 2 (before application) and Project Cloud Phase 3 (after aplication) case studies at PT. XYZ. The influence before and after is measured by stakeholder satisfaction figures using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The results showed that the application of Deming Management Method can have a positive influence and can improve the performance of quality management in telecommunications projects in Indonesia."

"ABSTRAK
Penerapan manajemen kualitas yang baik dan benar akan meminimalisir cacat pada hasil pekerjaan. Cacat ini akan menimbulkan pekerjaan perbaikan atau pekerjaan ulang, sehingga akan mempengaruhi besar waktu dan biaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting manajemen mutu pada perusahaan-perusahaan beton pracetak di Indonesia dan mengetahui proses-proses dalam metode Six Sigma yang dapat diimplementasikan pada perusahaan-perusahaan beton pracetak di Indonesia dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja waktu produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja waktu adalah manajer produksi telah mengenali kompetensi tim produksi yang dibutuhkan sehingga proses perekrutan menjadi efektif.

ABSTRACT
A well and right application of quality management will minimize defects in the work. Defects will cause the repair work or re-employment, so as to affect the time and cost. This study aims to determine the existing condition of quality management in precast concrete companies in Indonesia and knowing the processes in the Six Sigma method that can be implemented in precast concrete companies in Indonesia and its impact on the performance of production time. The results showed that the process that affect time performance the most is the production manager has recognized the competence of the production team are needed so that the recruitment process to be effective."

"The quality management issues in ceramic floor tile companies indicated by the existence of variation in ceramic floor tile quality, degrade companies cost performance. The research aims to determine the existing quality management, identify relevant six sigma process that can be implemented and to identify the six sigma variables that have major influence on cost performance. Exploratory research is applied in this research by interviewing and the using of questionnaires for two floor tile companies. The results showed that the two floor tiles companies have applied several six sigma processes and most of them can be implemented in those companies. Permasalahan manajemen kualitas pada perusahaan keramik lantai yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya tingkatan kualitas pada hasil produk keramik lantai menurunkan kinerja biaya perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen kualitas eksisting perusahaan keramik lantai, relevansi implementasi variabel proses six sigma pada perusahaan keramik di Indonesia dan untuk mengidentifikasi variabel proses yang berpengaruh besar terhadap kinerja biaya perusahaan. Penelitian eksploratif dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan kuesioner kepada dua perusahaan keramik lantai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua perusahaan keramik yang diteliti telah menerapkan beberapa proses dalam metode six sigma dan sebagian proses metode six sigma relevan diterapkan dalam kedua perusahaan tersebut.
