"Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika gangguan kecemasan pada tokoh Yevsey Klimkov pada novel Жизнь Ненужного Человека (Zhizn' Nenuzhnogo Cheloveka)‘Kehidupan Manusia yang Tidak Berguna’ karya Maxim Gorky menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam sudut pandang psikologi sastra. Teori struktur kepribadian Sigmund Freud dan teori gangguan kecemasan Karen Horney digunakan untuk menganalisis perkembangan karakter Yevsey dari waktu ke waktu serta bagaimana perkembangan itu terjadi. Melalui penelitian ini terlihat bahwa tokoh Yevsey adalah seorang pengidap neurotik. Sebagai penderita neurotik, Yevsey mengalami banyak dinamika gangguan kecemasan. Mulai dari konflik tanpa akhir, gejolak batin dan krisis identitas hingga sudut pandang Yevsey dan bagaimana Yevsey mengambil sikap terhadap konflik tersebut. Gorky sukses menggambarkan tokoh Yevsey sebagai orang yang sangat berkembang secara mental dan emosional tetapi sebenarnya jika melihat akhir cerita, ternyata dia tidak berkembang sama sekali.......This study examines the dynamics of anxiety in Yevsey Klimkov's character in the novel Жизнь Ненужного Человека (Zhizn' Nenuzhnogo Cheloveka)' Useless Human Life' by Maxim Gorkyusing qualitative methods from the point of view of literary psychology. Sigmund Freud's personality structure theory and Karen Horney's theory of anxiety disorders were used to analyze Yevsey's character development over time and how that development occurred. Through this research, it can be seen that Yevsey's character is a neurotic person. As a neurotic, Yevsey experiences many of the dynamics of anxiety disorders. Starting from endless conflicts, inner turmoil, and identity crisis to Yevsey's point of view and how Yevsey takes a stand against the conflict. Gorky is successful in portraying Yevsey's character as a person who is very mentally and emotionally developed but actually if you look at the end of the story, it turns out that he did not develop at all."

"Latar belakang: Mabuk gerak dapat memberi efek terhadap kinerja dan keselamatan penerbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mabuk gerak pada calon penerbang militer di Lakespra Saryanto. Metode: Data berasal dari pemeriksaan kesehatan calon penerbang militer pada September 2013, Januari dan Juni 2014 di Lakespra Saryanto. Desain penelitian potong lintang, pengambilan sampel secara purposif. Subyek yang diambil 135 orang, analisis menggunakan korelasi regresi linier dengan stata. Terdiri dari 11 orang calon penerbang militer periode September 2013, 108 orang periode Januari 2014 dan 16 orang pada bulan Mei 2014. Mabuk gerak diperoleh dengan provokasi kursi Barany. Gejala dan tanda mabuk gerak ditentukan dengan mengamati timbulnya: keringat dingin, pusing, pucat, mual, ruktus/sendawa, dan muntah. Hasil: Faktor dominan yang mempertinggi mabuk gerak adalah VO2 max dan neurotik. Setiap kenaikan nilai VO2 max sebesar 1 ml/kgBB/menit akan menambah nilai indeks mabuk gerak sebesar 0,08 [koefisiensi regresi (β)= 0,083; p= 0,005] dan setiap penambahan nilai neurotik (skala klinik Hs) sebesar 1 akan menambah nilai indeks mabuk gerak sebesar 0,05 (β= 0,056; p= 0,019). Kesimpulan: VO2 max dan neurotik cenderung mempertinggi mabuk gerak pada calon penerbang militer di Lakespra Saryanto. ......Background: Motion sickness gives effect to the performance and safety of flight. This study aims to identify the factors affect motion sickness on candidates military aviator in Lakespra Saryanto. Methods: Data derived from health examinations of candidates military aviator at September 2013, January and May 2014 in Lakespra Saryanto. Study designed was cross sectional with purposive sampling. All subjects were taken all the 135 were taken linier correlation regression was used with stata consisting of 11 candidates for military aviators for period September 2013, 108 people for period January 2014 and 16 people for period May 2014. Motion sickness obtained by Barany chair provocation. Symptoms and signs are determined by observing the motion sickness onset: cold sewat, dizzines, pallor, nausea, ruktus/ belching, and vomiting Results: The dominant factor that heightens the motion sickness is VO2 max and neurotic. Each increase in VO2 max values of 1 ml/kg min will increase the value of the motion sickness index of 0.08 [regression coefficient (β) = 0.083; p = 0.005] and each value addition neurotic (clinical scales Hs) of 1 will add to the value of the motion sickness index of 0.05 (β = 0.056, p = 0.019). Conclusion: VO2 max and neurotic tend to enhance the value of the motion sickness index on the candidates of military aviator in Lakespra Saryanto."

"Stroke menimbulkan gangguan neurologis menetap. Obat-obatan konvensional yang ada selain relatif mahal dan banyak efek samping, belum dapat menyembuhkan gejala sisa tersebut. Melihat penggunaan rebusan akar Acalypha indica Linn. di masyarakat dalam mengatasi gejala paresis pasca stroke, dilakukan uji efek neuroterapi ekstrak akar Acalypha indica Linn. secara eks vivo pada saraf otot gastroknemius katak, untuk membuktikan adanya efek terapi dari ekstrak. Studi eksperimental ini dilakukan dengan model neuromuscular junction katak. Dikarenakan kemiripan studi dengan patofisiologi miastenia gravis, bila penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang baik, kemungkinan dapat diterapkan pula untuk mengobati miastenia gravis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan lima kelompok dosis (ekstrak 5; 10; 15; 20; 25 mg/ml) dan satu kelompok kontrol (ringer), dengan empat sampel setiap kelompok. Pada pembahasan hanya akan dibandingkan antara kelompok kontrol, ekstrak 20 mg, dan 25 mg. Pankuronium bromida 2 mg digunakan sebagai pelumpuh otot. Penelitian dilakukan sebagai berikut: perendaman dengan Ringer – Pankuronium bromida – Ekstrak. Parameter yang digunakan berupa aktivitas listrik seperti jumlah dan durasi (dalam detik) dari repolarisasi, depolarisasi, potensial istirahat, dan tinggi spike setelah pemberian stimulasi listrik pada 5 mV. Adanya efek neuroterapi ditentukan oleh kemampuan otot untuk menunjukkan respons listrik setelah perendaman dengan pankuronium bromida dan ekstrak selama 10 menit. Ekstrak air akar Acalypha indica Linn. menunjukkan efek neuroterapi terbaik pada dosis 20 mg dan 25 mg, dengan perbaikan nilai rata-rata depolarisasi (p= 0,197), repolarisasi (p= 0,475), dan flat (p= 0,558), walaupun secara statistik tidak berbeda bermakna.......Stroke has caused persistent neurologic symptoms. The conventional drugs used today cannot cure these symptoms, besides they are more adverse reactions and expensive. The extract of Acalypha indica Linn. has been used for long time to treat patient with paralyze. To prove the extract’s therapy effect, a study of neuro-therapy effects of Acalypha indica Linn. extract ex vivo on m.gastrocnemius of frog has been done. The experimental study was done on neuromuscular junction of frog. Because of the similarity with pathophysiology of myasthenia gravis, if the extract has been proved to have therapy effect, this can also be used to treat myasthenia gravis. The study was done on five groups of doses: 5; 10; 15; 20; 25 mg and one group as control (ringer), with four samples each group. On the results discussion, only control group, the extract of 20 mg and 25 mg were compared. Pancuronium bromide 2 mg, is used for muscle relaxant. The study was done as follow: Ringer – Pancuronium bromide – Extract. The parameters used to measure in this study were the electrical activities such as amount and duration (second) of repolarization, depolarization, resting potential, and the height of spike after electrical stimulation at 5 mV. The neuro-therapy effect of extract was determined by the ability of muscle to show the electrical response after incubating with pancuronium bromide and extract within 10 minutes. The extract of Acalypha indica Linn. showed best effects on doses of 20 mg and 25 mg, with improved depolarization (p= 0,197), repolarization (p= 0,475), and flat (p= 0,558), but statistically there were no significant difference."
