"Tesis ini membahas mengenai legalitas atas hak cipta lagu parodi yang diunggah di dalam layanan berbagi video YouTube dengan mengkaji sejauhmana Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta mengatur hal tersebut termasuk perlindungan terhadap hak moral dan hak ekonomi pencipta dan pelaku pertunjukan lagu asli. Dengan kemajuan teknologi, kepastian hukum atas suatu ciptaan lagu yang ditransformasikan menjadi parodi dan kemudian diunggah di internet sangatlah penting untuk dikertahui oleh pencipta dan pelaku pertunjukan lagu asli. Terdapat dua cara untuk mengetahui sejauhmana suatu lagu parodi yang diunggah melalui YouTube adalah sah ataukah bertentangan dengan UUHC. Jika terjadi pelanggaran hak cipta, maka pencipta dan pelaku pertunjukan lagu asli berhak atas perlindungan hukum dengan cara mengajukan penghentian, gugatan perdata, maupun tuntuan pidana yang diatur di dalam UUHC, UU ITE dan Copyrigts on YouTube.
......This thesis discusses the legality to Copyright of Parody Song which being uploaded in video-sharing website, YouTube by analyzing at how far The Law of Republic of Indonesia Number 28 Year 2014 Regarding Copyright regulates this matter including the protection of moral right and economic right of the original songwriter and performer. With the progress of technology, legal certainty of the song which being transformed to parody and also uploaded to internet is very important for original songwriter and performer to know. There are two ways to find out about a parody song which were uploaded through YouTube be valid or contrary to UUHC. When there is a violation of copyright, the original songwriter and performer have a rights to access legal protection by reporting the termination, filing a lawsuit for compensation, and criminal charges as governed in UUHC, UU ITE, and Copyrights on YouTube."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang parodi yang ditemukan dalam tayangan online yang menggunakan merek terdaftar milik pihak lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan banyak konten yang beredar di Internet yang membuat parodi atas merek terkenal. Menilai apakah ciptaan tersebut merupakan obyek Hak Cipta adalah harus orisinal, bersifat khas dan pribadi. Walaupun kemungkinannya kecil, Parodi merek bisa saja mendapatkan perlindungan sebagai merek, asalkan ia memenuhi persyaratan untuk bisa didaftarkan sebagai merek, yaitu memiliki unsur pembeda untuk membedakan barang/jasanya dari barang/jasa lain yang sejenis. Karya derivative (karya turunan) dari karya gambar bisa mendapat perlindungan jika memenuhi satu dari dua standar yaitu karya harus mengandung sejumlah besar materi baru atau cukup berbeda dari karya yang asli. Membuat perubahan kecil tidak memenuhi syarat originalitas, seperti dipersyaratkan dalam Pasal 1 angka no. 2 Undang-Undang No. 28 Tahun 2014 Tentang Hak Cipta tentang ciptaan yang bersifat khas dan pribadi.

This thesis discusses about parody found online that use registered marks in the name of other party. Based on research, there are found many contents on the Internet creating parody of well-known marks. Judging whether or not the work is copyright object, that such work should be original, has special trait and personal. Although the chance is low, trademark parody can obtain trademark protection, as long as it fulfills criteria to be registered as mark, namely having distinguishing feature to differentiate the goods/services from others goods/services of the same kind. Derivative works from pictorial works can obtain protection if it fulfills one of two standards, namely the work must contain a great number of new material or different enough from the original work. Creating minor change does not qualify as original, as regulated in Article 1 point no. 2 of Law No. 28 Year of 2014 regarding Copyrights, about works that has special trait and personal."

"[Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana unsur-unsur humor digunakan untuk memarodikan konsep maskulinitas agen rahasia dalam film Austin Powers : International Man of Mystery dan Austin Powers : The Spy Who Shagged Me dan menunjukkan bagaimana parodi dan tawa bekerja untuk mempertahankan atau menolak sebuah ideologi dominan maskulinitas agen rahasia James Bond. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi tipologi humor yang digunakan dalam kedua film dan membandingkan atribut-atribut maskulinitas Austin Powers dengan konsep maskulinitas agen rahasia ideal menggunakan pendekatan semiotik. Penelitian menemukan bahwa di satu sisi kedua film berusaha untuk membongkar konsep maskulinitas ideal tersebut, sementara di sisi lain ditemukan juga adanya peneguhan konsep maskulinitas ideal yang dilakukan oleh kedua film.
......The purpose of this thesis is to show how the typology of humor in parody films is used in Austin Powers : International Man of Mystery and The Spy Who Shagged Me to strengthen and/or resist the dominant ideology represented by the ideal male secret agent masculinity ideology in James Bond movies. The analysis is conducted by identifying the typology of humor used in the films and comparing Austin Powers’ masculinity attributes to the ideal secret agent masculinity attributes using semiotic approach. The findings reveal that the films strengthen
and resist the ideal masculinity concept simultaneously.;The purpose of this thesis is to show how the typology of humor in parody films is
