ABSTRACT
This research is intended to explore sharing economy, particularly ride sharing. The study aims to identify the impact of four factors -economic, social, environmental, and technological- on individuals' motivation and decision to use three ride sharing platforms: UBER, GRAB and Go-JEK in Indonesia. Based on available literature, four research hypotheses are tested, namely that (1) economic factors; (2) social factors;(3) environmental factors; and (4) technological factors have positive influence on individuals' motivation and decision to use ride sharing services. Primary and secondary data are used to answer the research questions. Primary data were obtained through an online survey of 355 respondents, while secondary data were obtained from various related literatures. The research is both descriptive and quantitative in nature, the empirical analysis suggest that economic, social, environmental, and technological factors are positively associated with users' decision to use ride sharing.

ABSTRAK
Munculnya ojek online di kota-kota besar dinilai memberikan banyak manfaat, baik bagi masyarakat sebagai konsumen dan juga bagi para mitra pengendaranya. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ojek online meningkatkan kesejahteraan para mitra pengendaranya. Metode yang digunakan adalah difference-in-difference, dengan mengambil 422 responden yang terdiri dari 211 OPANG dan 211 OJOL di 11 Stasiun KRL di Jakarta. Peneliti membandingkan kesejahteraan yang dimiliki oleh dua kelompok ojek ndash; ojek pangkalan dan ojek online ndash; pada dua waktu yang berbeda ndash; sebelum dan sesudah adanya ojek online. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ojek online dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan para mitra pengendaranya. Hal tersebut terlihat dari meningkatnya pendapatan bersih, pendapatan per jam, rasa puas akan hidup dan pekerjaan, serta rasa bahagia terhadap pekerjaan. Di sisi lain, bergabung bersama ojek online dapat pula meningkatkan biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk bekerja sebagai ojek online. Selain itu, fenomena ojek online juga menimbulkan spillover, di mana peningkatan kesejahteraan ojek online dapat menurunkan kesejahteraan ojek pangkalan.
ABSTRACT
The emergence of ojek online is considered to provide many benefits, both for the society as a consumer and also for its rider partners. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the motorcycle ride sharing enhance the welfare of its rider partners. The method used by the researcher is difference in difference, using 422 respondents consisting of 211 OPANGs and 211 OJOLs at 11 Commuerline Stations in Jakarta. The researcher compared the welfare of two groups of motorcycle ride sharing drivers ndash those who use online and not ndash at two different times before and after the emergence of online motorcycle ride sharing. The result shows that online motorcycle ride sharing can improve the welfare of its rider partners. This can be seen from the increase in net income, hourly income, the satisfaction of life and work, and the happiness of the job. On the other hand, joining online motorcycle ride sharing companies can also increase the cost incurred to work as an ojek online. In addition, the phenomenon of online motorcycle ride sharing also has a spillover effect, where the increase in the welfare of online motorcycle ride sharing can reduce the welfare of traditional motorcycle ride sharing.

ABSTRACT
Millennials generation touted as the generation tech and is believed to have a role in social movements. They are tech-savvy in which it forces the market to comply with the demand digitally, therefore, they embrace sharing economy activities. Sharing economy gains its popularity in Indonesia in 2013 by the arrival of online-ride-sharing businesses. However, the idea of sharing possession with strangers leaves a trust issue for the service. With the theory of reasoned action and the issue of trust in the digital world, this quantitative research. aims to identify millennials value perception, behavioral intent, and trust in online-ride-sharing purchase intention in Indonesia. Using structural equation modeling (SEM), this study found that utilitarian and hedonic value affect positively millennials attitude to online-ride-sharing services which then affect their intention to purchase the service whereas empathy does not. An intention to purchase online-ride-sharing services also will be escalated when there is trust.

Generasi milenial dikenal sebagai generasi teknologi dan diyakini memiliki peran dalam gerakan sosial. Mereka adalah generasi yang paham teknologi dan membuat pasar memenuhi permintaan mereka secara digital. Hal inilah yang membuat terlahirnya sharing economy dan menjadi popular sejak tahun 2013 di Indonesia, ditandai dengan kedatangannya online-ride-sharing. Namun, adanya gagasan untuk berbagi kepemilikan dengan orang asing meninggalkan masalah kepercayaan untuk industry ini. Dengan theory of reasoned action dan adanya masalah kepercayaan digital, penelitian kuantitatif ini mengidentifikasi persepsi nilai (value perception), niat perilaku (behavioral intent), dan kepercayaan(trust) terhadap niat beli (purchase intention) online-ride-sharing di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan structural equation model (SEM), penelitian ini menemukan bahwa nilai utilitas (utilitarian value) dan hedonis (hedonic value) mempengaruhi sikap milenial secara positif terhadap niat mereka untuk menggunakan (purchase intention) layanan online-ride-sharing sedangkan empati tidak mempunyai pengaruh. Niat untuk menggunakan layanan online-ride-sharing juga akan meningkat ketika adanya kepercayaan.

Skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi dengan perkembangan ekonomi digital di Indonesia. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi khususnya internet, mengubah cara masyarakat dalam melakukan kegiatan ekonomi. Untuk itu diperlukan aturan yang memadai untuk menciptakan kepastian hukum. Rumusan masalah skripsi ini adalah bagaimana regulasi ekonomi digital di Indonesia dan bagaimana implementasi ekonomi digital di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yuridis normative yang dilakukan dengan studi kepustakaan. Simpulan dari Penulis adalah sudah terdapat beberapa regulasi yang dapat menjadi landasan hukum dalam kegiatan ekonomi digital. Selain itu, telah berkembang bermacam implementasi dari digitalisasi dalam perekonomian di Indonesia seperti e-commerce, financial technology, maupun ride sharing yang menyebabkan masyarakat mulai meninggalkan cara konvensional dalam melakukan kegiatan perekonomian. Saran dari Penulis adalah Pemerintah dapat mempercepat penyusunan regulasi pada aspek ekonomi digital yang dapat mendukung ekonomi digital khususnya mengenai Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) barang impor yang diperjualbelikan pada e-commerce.
ABSTRACT
This thesis is motivated by the development of digital economy in Indonesia. The development of information and communication technology, especially the internet, changes the way people conduct economic activities. For this reason, adequate rules are needed to create legal certainty. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how the regulation of digital economy in Indonesia and how the implementation of digital economy in Indonesia. This research is a normative juridical study conducted by library research. The conclusion from the author is that there are already several regulations that can be the legal basis for digital economic activities. In addition, there are various implementations of digitalization in the economy in Indonesia, such as e-commerce, financial technology, and ride sharing, which have led people starting to leave conventional ways of doing economic activities. Suggestion from the author is that the Government should accelerate the formulation of regulations that can support the digital economy, especially about Value Added Tax (VAT) on imported goods that are traded on e-commerce.
