Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pengguna wanita melalui situs komunitas yaitu femaledaily.com. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengidentifikasi pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pengguna wanita melalui femaledaily.com serta jenis informasi apa yang banyak dibutuhkan oleh pengguna wanita melalui femaledaily.com. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan informasi pengguna wanita telah terpenuhi dengan baik melalui femaledaily.com. Informasi yang banyak dicari melalui situs tersebut adalah jenis informasi berupa review, yaitu informasi yang ditulis pengguna lain berdasarkan pengalaman dan pengetahuannya. Namun sayangnya, hal itu berbanding terbalik dengan data yang menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pengguna enggan untuk berbagi pengetahuan yang dimilikinya di situs tersebut.

ABSTRACT
This study investigates women information needs through a community website femaledaily.com. This study aims to identify women rsquo s information needs, particularly in types of information needed through the website. This study is classified as a quantitative description research using survey method. The data showed that womens information needs had been well fulfilled through the website. Reviews or other users commentary based on their experience of using certain products is the most frequently searched type of information by the respondents. However, the result was incoherent to another data showed that the majority of respondents were unwilling to share opinions and knowledge on the website.

Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kebutuhan informasi pengguna di situs komunitas anakUl.com serta alasan pengguna memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya di situs tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis jenis informasi yang dibutuhkan dan dicari oleh pengguna terdiri dari beragam jenis informasi, namun ada beberapa jenis informasi yang kurang diminati oleh pengguna, seperti kewirausahaan, ekonomi, hukum dan pemerintahan. Alasan pengguna memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya di situs komunitas anakUI.com karena kemutakhiran informasi dan kemudahan akses. Pengguna juga menggunakan anakUl.com sebagai wahana berdiskusi untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan informasi.

This study is about the information needs of users of anakUl.com community's website and the reasons why they use this site in meeting their needs of information. This study uses a quantitative, approach with survey method. The result of the study shows that anakUI.com have provided various types of information that fulfilled users, however some types of information such as information on entrepreneurship, economic, law and governmental issues are less needed. The users reasons in fulfilling their information needs are its easy access and it's currency. The users also use anakUI.com as a discussion forum to share knowledge and information.
