"[ABSTRAKTesis ini akan membahas tentang konsep jogekankei yang ada dalam gaya bahasaenkyokuhou. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai penulis melalui penelitian ini adalahmemaparkan adanya konsep jougekankei didalam percakapan yang menggunakangaya bahasa enkyokuhou yang dilakukan kebanyakan oleh bawahan (buka) kepadaatasan (joshi). Untuk penelitian ini pendekatan yang penulis gunakan adalahpendekatan kulitatif dengan menggunakan novel Nihon Kogyou Ginkou karyaRyo Takasugi untuk memahami konsep jougekankei yang ada didalam gayabahasa enkyoukuhou. Untuk metode pengumpulan data penulis menggunakanmetode kepustakaan. Untuk menganalisis penulis akan menggunakan dua metodeyaitu Metode Interpretatif dan Metode Deskriptif. Dalam Metode DeskriptifAnalisis ini penulis akan memamparkan hasil pemahaman penulis setelahmenganalisis data agar dapat dipahami oleh pembaca.Metode yang ketiga adalahmetode wawancara. Data yang dianalisis ada sepuluh buah. Secara garis besardapat disimpulkan bahwa Engkyokuhou terbagi dalam dua kelompok besar yaituenkyokuhou berjenis Gramatikal dan enkyokuhou berjenis Leksikal. Enkyokuhouberjenis Gramatikal terdapat dua fungsi dan enkyokuhou berjenis Leksikalterdapat empat fungsi.

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas tentang pcnguasaan sonkeigo dan kenjougo dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Ryukyu dan hubungannva dengan jenis kelamin responden, yaitu laki-laki dan perempuan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan dara menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sample, yang merupakan bagian dari nonprobability sampling. Dan analisa penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa responden tidak menguasai penggunaan sonkeigo, secara tidak langsung mereka juga tidak menguasai kenjougo dan teineigo. Responden yang tidak tahu atau salah menggunakan sonkeigo biasanya salah mengekspresikan rasa hormat dengan kenjougo atau hanya dengan teineigo saja. Kemudianditemukan kecenderungan mengubah bentuk hormat yang sudah ada ke bentuk RARERU dan penggunaan ekspresi hormatat sonkeigo dan kenjougo dimana rasa hormat cukup hanya dengan teineigo saja (berlebihan, tidak ada hubungannya dengan pembicara). Dan hasil penghitungan statistik didapat hasil bahwa kalimat no 3,6,7 dan 10 mempunyai hubungan dengan jcnis kelamin responden. Artinya responden laki-laki dan perempuan menpunvai peluang yang berbeda untuk menjawab kalimat angket yang ada.
