"Penelitian ini menganalisis dan menjelaskan konsep relasi makna antara kata zacht dengan subtiel, kesesuaian antara nama produk Zacht Subtiel dengan isi iklan, serta relasi makna yang terdapat pada kalimat dialog dan monolog dalam iklan Friesche Vlag Zacht Subtiel tahun 2012. Acuan teoretis yang digunakan adalah teori semantik: relasi makna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa zacht dan subtiel merupakan dua kata yang saling bersinonim, masing-masing kata memiliki fungsinya sendiri untuk menjelaskan dan meyakinkan konsumen akan rasa yang dihadirkan. Pemilihan nama produk Zacht Subtiel dianggap sudah sesuai dengan cita rasa yang dihasilkan. Kalimat-kalimat yang digunakan dalam dialog dan monolog mengandung majas yang berfungsi untuk mengkonkretkan lokusi yang hendak disampaikan.

This research analyzes and explains the concept in study of meaning between the word zacht and subtiel, the compatibility between the name of the product Zacht Subtiel with some contents in the advertisement, and also the concept in study of meaning within sentences of the monologue and dialogue in Friesche Vlag Zacht Subtiel advertisement in 2012. The theoretical reference that is used is semantic theory study of meaning. This research uses a qualitative method. The result of the research shows that zacht and subtiel are two words which are synonymous, each word has its own function to explains and persuades consumers about the taste which is presented. The sentences that are used in monologue and dialogue consist of figure of speech which happens to concretize the locutions. The selection of the product rsquo s name is suitable with the taste which is produced."

"ABSTRAKThe aim of this paper is to understand the meaning and function of Islamic calligraphy (Arabic calligraphy) on the walls of the Cikoneng ancient mosque, Anyer-Banten. Descriptive with interpretation method is used to make the systematic description. Islamic calligraphy is found on the upper walls of the Cikoneng mosque inside the men's and the women's prayer room, consist a quotations of the Holy Qur'an and the Hadist of the Prophet. The conclusion is that Islamic calligraphy as decoration contains meaning and function through nonverbal language, which is adapted to the social conditions of Cikoneng society in the Dutch era. "
