In Indonesia, the elderly population (aged 60 years and over) are expected to rise in amount. Increasing proportion of elderly people (older) is required to formulate elderly policies and programs so them can play a role in development and not be a burden for the society.
This objective study aimed to determine factors associated with the nutritional status of elderly in Porsea Subdistrict, Toba Samosir District, Year 2010, North Sumatra Province which conducted within two months (March-April 2010). The primary data were taken in the form of measurements of anthropometric data (height and weight) and interview data for parent characteristics (age, sex, marital status, nutritional knowledge, mood disorder, history of illness) education level, employment status, living status, social activity, physical activity, smoking habits, and food consumption (energy and protein intake).
The study using cross sectional design with the inclusion criteria aged 60 above with the total sample of 254 respondents aged above 60 year. Chi square, odd ratio and multivariate multinomial regression analysis were used. The proportions of elderly who suffered from under nutrition was almost the same with the ovenutrition (24% and 19,7% respectively).
Results of data analysis using multinomial regression showed mood disorder was significantly correlated and dominant factors on undernourished status with the p-value of OR = 6,9, while the smoking habits was the dominant factors on the overnutrition."

"The proof is in the (chocolate) pudding: almost 50% of women would choose chocolate over sex, and 76% would prefer chocolate to alcohol as a mood enhancer; after eating chocolate, women report increased alertness and reduced fatigue. If chocolate makes you feel good, then it's doing you good as well! Recent research shows chocolate can actually boost women's mental and physical wellbeing. Women have a unique biological advantage that allows chocolate and other foods rich in sugar and fat to have a profound and beneficial influence on the mood-altering chemicals in the brain. Yet for too long society's negative attitude to chocolate and other "female pleasure foods" has forced women to ignore their body's needs and driven them to eat guiltily, alone and in secret. This book explodes the myth of "bad" and "good" food, freeing women from the tyranny of guilt and encouraging them to listen to their body and satisfy its cravings to maximize the benefits of the food-mood connection."

ABSTRACT
The emotional distress caused by heartbreak can lead one to negative effects such as an increase of the risk of physical illness and stress related diseases. Confiding in others about upsetting experiences such as heartbreak can be one of many ways to help one feel better, but not everyone is comfortable in sharing their personal stories and not every heartbreak story can be easily discussed. This experimental research is conducted to examine the effects of written emotional disclosure to subjective distress and mood on individuals experiencing heartbreak. 15 male and 28 female undergraduates were randomly assigned to experimental group, in which they wrote expressively about their heartbreak, or to a control group, in which they wrote about control topics. Subjective distress was assessed using the adapted Impact of Event Scale IES , and The Profile of Mood States Revised POMS R was used to assess participants rsquo mood. Using independent sample t test and mixed ANOVA, findings of the research indicated there was a significant mood improvement from the first day to the last day of writing session F 1,6 , 65,8 10,98, p 0,001, but there was not a significant difference in participants rsquo subjective distress and mood between the experiment and the control group F 1,41 1, r 0,044. The result suggested several considerations for future research in hopes of further exploration of the written emotional disclosure rsquo s benefits and mechanism, especially on individuals experiencing heartbreak."
