Tesis ini membahas pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling di SMPK 4 Penabur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiandeskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling disekolah merupakan hal yang penting sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan peserta didik. Pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling dilakukan mulai dari tahapan awal tahapan inti dan tahapan akhir. Tahapan awal mencakup upaya mengumpulkan informasi peserta didik. Tahapan inti mencakup pemberianbantuan kepada peserta didik seperti membangun relasi eksplorasi permasalahandan pemberian solusi alternatif. Tahapan akhir merupakan evaluasi kegiatan layanan yang telah dilakukan. Dalam pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat. ...... This thesis explores the implementation of guidance and counseling in SMPK 4 Penabur. This was a descriptive research using qualitative approach. Results showed that the implementation of guidance and counseling in school were important as attempt to cope with students problems. The implementation of guidance and counseling involved initial stage core stage and late stage. Initial stage included efforts to collect students rsquo information. Core stage included help provision for students such as building relationship exploring problems and providing alternative solutions. Late stage was evaluation of the services that hadbeen done. There were supporting and restricting factors during theimplementation.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara persyaratan mental guru (yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap guru) dan kesenangan membaca guru dengan prestasi membaca-dan menulis permulaan murid kelas II SD di Pedesaan. Pada kelas-kelas permulaan sekolah dasar hubungan antara guru dan muridnya sangat erat. Keadaan guru mempengaruhi prestasi muridnya. Keadaan guru yang mempengaruhi muridnya antara lain adalah ciri-ciri kepribadian guru yang menjadi persyaratan mental dari guru yang efektif. Persyaratan mental tersebut adalah persyaratan pengetahuan dan sikap guru terhadap muridnya. Selain itu kesenangan membaca guru juga mempengaruhi prestasi membaca-dan-menulis-permulaan murid.

Subyek penelitian adalah guru dan murid kelas II SD di Kecamatan Bagor Kabupaten Nganjuk Jawa Timur. Alat penelitian yang dipakai adalah alat penelitian yang sebagian besar dibuat sendiri oleh penulis yang sebelum dikenakan pada subyek penelitian dicari lebih dahulu validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Alat tersebut adalah tes pengetahuan, Skala sikap dan angket kesenangan membaca untuk guru den tes dikte untuk murid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara persyaratan mental dan kesenangan membaca guru dengan prestasi-membaca-dan-rnenulis-permulaan murid kelas II SD pedesaan tidak signifikan. Penulis sarankan apabila akan melakukan pembuktian terhadap hipotesa tersebut sebaiknya mengontrol pula faktor lingkungan sekolah dan subyek penelitian lebih diperbanyak.

[ABSTRAK
Kemampuan berpikir matematis pada anak sangat diperlukan untuk kehidupan di masa depannya. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi anak dalam kemampuan berpikir matematis adalah attentional focusing, working memory dan inhibitory control, ketiga hal ini dinamakan behavior self regulation. Behavior self regulation dengan kemampuan berpikir matematis pada anak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan, namun dalam penellitian sebelumnya ditemukan perbedaan korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut. Hubungan antara guru dengan murid (teacher student relationship) yang baik sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan akademik anak. Dalam penelitian ini teacher student relationship diposisikan sebagai variabel moderator yang berfungsi untuk meningkatkan dan menurunkan hubungan antara behavior self regulation dengan kemampuan matematika. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah teacher student relationship tidak berperan sebagai variabel moderator pada hubungan behavior self regulation dengan kemampuan berpikir matematis pada anak, tetapi hanya sebagai independen variabel (IV).

Some of the factors that affect children in the ability to think mathematically is attentional focusing, working memory and inhibitory control, these three so-called behavior self regulation. Keterlibatan siswa - siswi sekolah menegah tingkat atas dan sekolah menengah kejuruan dalam hal penyalahgunaan narkoba sudah menunjukan indikasi yang sangat memprihatinkan dan membahayakan dunia pendidikan. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa-siswi tersebut sedang berada di masa remaja yang sangat rentan sekali terpengaruh terhadap hal - hal yang bersifat baru .Salah satu penyebab dari meningkatnya penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan para siswa-siswi adalah karena kurangnya informasi pengetahuan tentang narkoba dan bahaya dari penyalahgunaan narkoba. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka guru sebagai orang tua siswa di sekolah sangatlah penting tugasnya dalam hal melakukan pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan siswa.Dalam kaitan tersebut maka penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul?Efektifitas pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan siswa oleh guru dalam rangka mewujudkan ketahanan nasional (Studi Kasus SMAN 4 Batanghari dan SMKN 4 Batanghari Kabupaten Batanghari)?. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif jenis studi kasus atau case study yang merupakan bagian dari metode kualitatif yang hendak mendalami suatu kasus tertentu secara lebih mendalam dengan melibatkan pengumpulan beraneka sumber informasi. Data dari hasil wawancara dengan sumber informan akan dijadikan sebuah jawaban pada kedua masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam menganalisa data yang didapat, peneliti menggunakan model analisa data kualitatif yang dikembangkan oleh Creswell dan Miles-Huberman dengan beberapa tahap dalam melakukan analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data , penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektifitas pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan siswa oleh guru dan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan, perasaan, dan tindak lanjut siswa setelah mendapatkan informasi pengetahuan tentang narkoba oleh guru. Efektifitas pemberian informasi dan pengetahuan pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba oleh guru kepada siswa-siswi dalam rangka mewujudkan ketahanan nasional dapat dilihat dari beberapa sudut pandang, seperti dilihat dari sudut komunikasi. Karena proses pemberian informasi dan pengetahuan melibatkan guru sebagai komunikator, membutuhkan pesan sebagai materi informasi, membutuhkan media yang tepat untuk digunakan, dan memilih sasaran yaitu siswa yang akan menerima sejumlah pesan yang terkandung didalamnya, umpan balik serta mengharapkan efek sebagai tujuan utama dari pemberian informasi dan pengetahuan yang berupa respons positif baik secara kognitif ( pengetahuan ), secara afektif ( rasa kepuasan ), dan konatif ( sebagai respons positif berupa tindak lanjut ). Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa efektifitas pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dikalangan siswa oleh guru telah dapat dikatakan efektif . Komunikasi yang efektif merupakan pencapaian tujuan pesan atau materi yang disampaikan guru sebagi komunikator kepada para siswa sebagai komunikan yang menimbulkan efek atau pengaruh perubahan prilaku siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari sudah terbentuk pik-r di sekolah yang merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi pengetahuan narkoba oleh siswa dan untuk siswa , kesiapan siswa untuk melaporkan kepada guru jika ada siswa yang terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan narkoba serta kesiapan siswa menyatakan perang terhadap narkoba
ABSTRACT
The involvement of students of both Senior High School (state/private) and Vocational Senior High School (state/private) in terms of abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs, it had indicated deeply apprehensiveness and highly endangered educational domain. It is resulted by their position as juvenile and very vulnerable against new issues as well as lack of information on abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs and its dangerousness. Hence, the author had ben drawn to implement any research in title of Prevention Effectiveness of Abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs in Students Circle by Teachers In Order To manifest National Defense(Case Study on State Senior High School 4 of Batanghari and Vocational Senior High School 4 of Batanghari, Regency of Batanghari).?. This research conducted by qualitative method in type of case study to be studied by using collection of various information resources more deeply. The data collected by interview results from informant resource will be made as response for those both cases presented in this research. To analyze fact findings the author had used model of qualitative data analysis developed by Creswell and Miles-Huberman by some data analysis stages those are data reduction, data display as well as conclusion and verification. The objective of this research is to analyze prevention effectiveness of abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs in students circle by teachers in terms of knowledge, feeling and follow up upon those students having obtained information/knowledge on narcotic and elicit from teachers. Effectiveness of information/knowledge on abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs prevention from teachers in scope of national defense manifstation may be viewed from some sides such as communication one. Because of information/ knowledge presentation involved teachers as communicator then, it requires message as information materials, the right media and target, ie, students who will receive some contained messages, feedback as well as a wished effect as main objective of given information/knowledge such as cognitively(knowledge), affectively (satisfaction) and conotatively (follow up) positive responses. The drawn conclusion is that prevention effectiveness of abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs in students circle by teachers is most possibly effective. Effective communication is objective achievement of message or materials sent by teachers as communicator to students as communicant resulting in effect or influence of students behavior changes. It may be proven by forming of good mindset at school as facility of sending knowledge/ information in terms of narcotic and elicit drugs by students to students, readiness of students to report teacher(s) when there is student who involved in abuse of narcotic and elicit drugs as well as war declaration of students against narcotic and elicit drugs.
