Studi ini mencoba mengelaborasi model kelembagaan think tank pemerintah yang sesuai dengan Indonesia. Pendekatan studi ini kualitatif dengan melakukan studi best practices di Korea Selatan dan India yang mempunyai lembaga think tank yang berasal dari institusi perencanaan, yaitu KDI dan NITI Aayog. Adaptasi model KDI dan NITI Aayog diperlukan untuk merevitalisasi fungsi think tank yang sudah ada pada Bappenas. Kelembagaan think tank ini akan menjadi jembatan antara penelitian dan kebijakan (bridging research to policy) dan jembatan ilmu pengetahuan kepada kekuasaan (bridging knowledge to power). Kompleksitas permasalahan pembangunan menjadi tantangan pemerintah untuk dikelola dan diatasi berdasarkan ilmu pengetahuan yang bersumber dari penelitian akademis. Lembaga think tank harus dapat merumuskan bagaimana ilmu pengetahuan tersebut ditransformasikan menjadi riset kebijakan sehingga dihasilkan solusi kebijakan yang teruji.

Abstrak :
The Way We Think is concerned with the issue of developing thinking in education. It seeks to move beyond current predominant approaches, which take their cue from a limited conception of both the experience of thinking and die human being who thinks. This approach is referred to throughout the text as 'rationalistic,' designating both its abstracted, disengaged conception of the human being and its representational, intellectualised image of the ways we think -- In order to offer a more adequate conception of thinking, the author investigates the philosophical accounts of Ryle, Martin Heidegger, John Austin, and Jacques Derrick. She argues that these thinkers provide accounts that strive to open up the 'possibilities' of human thought, in the sense of revealing both what makes thought happen and what happens when we think. The conclusion explores how thinking education might thereby he reconceived, in ways that are richer than rationalism, and indicates how this alternative conception of thought might he translated into the classroom. The result is a method that provides new possibilities and new avenues for an education that takes its cue from the ways we think, in all their variety. --Book Jacket.

Tesis ini membahas mengenai dampak pendekatan Experiential Marketing yang terdiri dari Sense, Feel, Think, Act, dan Relate yang diterapkan Blitz Megaplex Grand Indonesia terhadap Customer Satisfaction, dan juga pengaruh kepuasan tersebut terhadap Attitudinal Loyalty dan Behavioral Loyalty. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratorif dan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa Customer Satisfaction dapat ditingkatkan dengan memberikan pengalaman berbasis Feel dengan cara mempengaruhi suasana hati, perasaan, dan emosi, dan Relate dengan menciptakan identitas sosial bagi pelanggan dalam menggunakan sebuah produk. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa Customer Satisfaction berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Attitudinal Loyalty, namun tidak secara signifikan terhadap Behavioral Loyalty. ......This thesis discusses the effect of Experiential Marketing which is consisted of Sense, Feel, Think, Act, and Relate that has been applied by Blitz Megaplex Grand Indonesia toward Customer Satisfaction, and its impact on Attitudinal Loyalty and Behavioral Loyalty. This research is exploratory and descriptive research. The results of this research show that Customer Satisfaction can be driven by Feel with its mood and emotion impact; and Relate with its social identity for those who use the product. The results also suggest that Customer Satisfaction significantly influence Attitudinal Loyalty, and did not significantly influence Behavioral Loyalty.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang penerjemahan kata think dalam novel Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone karya J.K. Rowling ke dalam bahasa Jepang yaitu 「ハリーポ ッターと賢者の石. Menurut kamus pada umumnya, kata think dalam bahasa Jepang secara garis besar dapat diartikan menjadi 「考える」kangaeru dan 「思う」 omou. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, muncul kata lain selain kangaeru dan omou yang digunakan dalam menerjemahkan kata think. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menemukan bahwa selain penerjemahan dengan morfem bebas secara leksikal, penerjemahan dengan morfem bebas, morfem terikat, serta gabungan keduanya secara situasional juga dilakukan oleh penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan kata think. Morfem bebas yang digunakan dalam penerjemahan antara lain morfem yang termasuk dalam kelas kata verba 「動詞」dan adverbia「副詞」. Sedangkan morfem terikat yang digunakan antara lain adalah morfem dari kelas kata verba bantu 「助動詞」 dan partikel akhir 「終助詞」. Selain itu terdapat pula beberapa penerjemahan yang termasuk ke dalam kategori penerjemahan nol atau pelesapan. Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan pembelajar bahasa Jepang dapat menggunakan hasil penelitian ini sebagai bahan pertimbangan ketika menerjemahkan dari bahasa Inggris ke dalam bahasa Jepang. ......This study focused on the translation of the word think in Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone by J.K Rowling into Japanese version 「ハリーポッターと賢者 の石」. According to dictionaries in general, think is equivalent to the word「考える」 kangaeru and 「思う」 omou. However, in the process of translation, other words are also used to express the word think in Japanese. The result of this study is, not only the lexically equivalent independent morphemes are used in translation, but also the attached morphemes (adjunct) or combination of both can be used to translate the word think as long as they are circumstantially equivalent. The usable independent morphemes are categorized as verbs 「動詞」and adverbs 「副詞」, while the adjunct that can be used includes auxiliary verbs 「助動詞」and final particles 「終助詞」. Last but not least, there are some translations that are categorized as "zero translations" as they were called omissions. From these results, those who are studying Japanese are expected to use this works as a consideration for translating from English to Japanese.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis argumentasi dan keterampilan menulis argumentasi melalui penerapan model Think Pair Share dengan media audiovisual siswa kelas X-10 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus. Sumber data berupa peristiwa, informan, dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data dengan teknik triangulasi metode, triangulasi sumber data dan review informan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif. Model Think Pair Share dengan audiovisual mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran keterampilan menulis argumentasi dengan indikator kinerja guru dan siswa. Pada prasiklus, nilai kinerja guru dan siswa masih berada di bawah indikator pencapaian. Siklus I, nilai kinerja guru meningkat menjadi 69,29% dan kinerja siswa sebesar 47,22% sedangkan pada siklus II nilai kinerja guru menjadi 80,71% dan kinerja siswa menjadi 78,95%. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I, siswa yang tuntas hanya 21 siswa yang artinya dianggap belum memenuhi indikator pencapaian. Penerapan Think Pair Share dengan media audiovisual pada siklus II, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan menulis argumentasi, yaitu skor 31 siswa melampaui KKM. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share dengan audiovisual mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses dan keterampilan menulis argumentasi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Kebakkramat.

The study aims to usability analysis the National Library of Indonesia home page based the results of Paramjeet and Gupta research. The method used was think-aloud. In this method, one user was observed when doing the assignment and asked to express choices, feelings, or thoughts when testing the website. There are seven phases in this method, i.e 1) literature study of usability, usability testing and think- aloud, 2) self-evaluation of the home page of National Library of Indonesia website, conducted by comparing the results of Paramjeet and Gupta study, 3) determination of assessment parameters, 4) determination of the number and criteria of the respondents, 5) analysis of home page usability by the respondents, 6) analysis of the results, conducted based on the respondent transcripts, and 7) recommendations. There were ten respondents, with medium internet literacy skill. They expressed their thoughts and feelings when testing the home page. There were criteria used in the assessment :1) the main features consist of logo and name of organization, about us, contact us, and archive and archiving; 2)URL (Uniform Resources Locator); 3) window title; 4) date and time; 5) writing content; 6) navigation; 7) search; 8) graphic and animation.Based on the analysis, it shows that home page of the National Library of Indonesia website needs to be improved. The improvements needed are: the addition of about us feature on the main menu; contact us becomes part of about us in the main menu; the results of the archive and archiving is in the form of title, in order to facilitate the information retrieval; the moving boxes in the navigation are replaced with fixed boxes using different colors with the color news; the search is equipped with advanced search, and graphics and animation should also be improved not only as a home page ornament.

This research aims to improve learning process quality of writing argumentationtext and argumentation writing skills through the Think Pair Share model with audiovisualmedia of students X-10 grade SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. This research was a ClassroomAction Research (CAR) with two cycles. Data sources include events, informants, anddocuments. Data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. Datavalidity by triangulation method technique, triangulation of data source and informant review.Data analysis technique using comparative descriptive analysis technique. Think Pair Sharemodel with audiovisual is able to improve the quality of learning process of argumentationwriting skill indicated by teacher and student performance. In pre-cycles, the teacher andstudent performance values were still below the achievement indicator. In cycle I, thevalue of teacher performance increased to 69.29 and the percentage of student performanceof 47.22%. Meanwhile, in cycle II the teacher performance value became 80.71 and thepercentage of student performance became 78.95%. After the action done on the firstcycle, there were only 21 students who achieved the value of KKM (minimum completenesscriteria) which means it did not meet the achievement indicators. Implementation of ThinkPair Share with audiovisual media in cycle II showed a significant improvement inargumentation writing skill, that is, score of 31 students exceeded KKM. In conclusion, theapplication of Think Pair Share model with audiovisual media is able to improve learningprocess quality and argumentation writing skill for the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri Kebakkramat.

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimanakah interaksi antar negara dalam proses institusionalisme NEAT sebagai think-tank pada kerjasama Asia Timur? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai pergerakan Asia Timur khususnya interaksi antar negara anggotanya dilihat melalui NEAT sebagai secondtrack dari kerja sama Asia Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi yaitu berdasarkan dokumen-dokumen yang dikeluarkan secara resmi oleh pertemuan Asia Timur dan NEAT. Jenis metode penelitian dokumentasi seperti ini pada umumnya akan sepenuhnya berfokus kepada laporan-laporan dan informasi resmi yangh diterbitkan oleh pemerintah atau agen internasional. Dari analisa tersebut dapat terlihat ciri khas dari sebuah institusi internasional yang dimiliki oleh NEAT. Ciri yang pertama memperlihatkan bahwa NEAT merupakan sebuah jaringan yang terdiri dari kelompok akademisi yang memiliki keahlian atau kompetensi mengenai kebijakan internasional. Rekomendasi kebijakan yang dihasilkan lahir dari adanya penelitian yang relevan. Dari ciri khas diatas menggambarkan bahwa NEAT berada pada tahap Epistemic Community dalam tingkatan institusi internasional Ruggie. Pada akhirnya hasil dari penelitian ini membenarkan hipotesis yang dipaparkan pada awal penulisan. Bahwa interaksi dari negara-negara anggota NEAT berhasil mewujudkan proses institusionalisasi NEAT dalam kerjasama APT. Hingga tahun 2009 proses institusionalisasi NEAT berada pada tahap Epistemic Community. NEAT berhasil memberikan sudut pandang dari ranah ilmu yang mampu memberikan gambaran hubungan politik.
This research aims to answer the question on ? How is the institutionalization of Network of East Asian Think-tanks (NEAT) in The ASEAN Plus Three Regionalism?. The objective of this research is to get an explanation on the interaction between every country in the ASEAN Plus Three Regionalism on the NEAT institutionalization. This research uses the document research as the study method. As an international institution NEAT is an epistemic community As an epistemic community NEAT holds a variety of research which called as working groups. The result of the working group will be recommended as a policy recommendation. This recommendation will be delivered to the APT leaders to be amendment as a policy. Haas says, as a think tank NEAT directly identifies the state interests and illuminates the decision makers about the salient dimensions of the issue. After that the decision makers in one state may, in turn, influence the interests and behavior of other states. Different with another approachment the actor of an epistemic community is an individual states but still sometimes there tends to be a hegemony of idea in the process of policy decision. In balance with Ikenberry theory that if there is any leading state joins an international institution then that sleading state will ripe another weaker state in order to pursues their interests. This research suggests that NEAT should enhance the institutionalization as the first official think tank in APT regionalism.
