This study aims to know the effects of fiscal policy shock in Indonesia and investigate the differences within two periods: Period I (1993Q1-2018Q4), which include the Asian Financial Crisis and the Global Financial Crisis, and Period II (2019M1-2021M12), which include the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis. This study uses Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) model, developed by Perotti (2004), which determine the restrictions based on institutional information of government budget system. This study concludes that: 1) shocks on fiscal policies significantly affect GDP in both periods; 2) the dynamic movement of GDP is more influenced by government spending than government revenue; 3) fiscal policy, especially revenue, has greater influences on inflation in Period II; 4) fiscal policy has minor role in affecting the interest rate."

"This paper studies the effect of domestic and foreign macroeconomy performances on the foreign direct investment (PMA) in Indonesia, employing descriptive and inferencial (econometric model) analyses. The national economic growth and national interest rate affect significantly PMA in Indonesia. While the national inflation rate positively -effected on PMA, but results show that hyperinflation contributes to decreasing PMA. The macroeconomic improvement in some _competitor countries, especially Chinese and Thailand tends to decrease PMA in Indonesia. However, the improvement of macroeconomies in Singapore and Malaysia can increase PMA in Indonesia. Therefore, bilateral relationship with these countries must be intensified. In addition, although the economic growth of some More Developed Countries (MDCs) has positive relationship with PMA in Indonesia, but their effect were not significant statistically, except Canada. This implies that global finance crisis, especially in USA and european countries would not largely effect on PMA in Indonesia."

"ABSTRACT
This research aims to analyze the relationships and effects of macroeconomic indicator variable and financial ratio on non performing financing (NPF) of sharia commercial banks in Indonesia. Data used in this research is obtained from Bank Indonesia, Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and Financial Services Authority (OJK). This research uses time series data from January 2010 to August 2016. This research method uses quantitative method by VAR approach through eviews program. This research showed that there was no long-run equilibrium relationship between variables of NPF, inflation, exchange rate, FDR, CAR and OER. Besides, all independent variables simultaneously affected NPF variable. Based on variable contribution on NPF shock, macroeconomic indicator variables contributed on NPF shock were inflation and exchange rate, meanwhile financial ratio variables contributed on NPF shock were CAR and OER. Seen from NPF response, only CAR variable was responded positively in the early period, meanwhile other variables were responded negative and fluctuatingly. The effects of each variable on NPF were temporary since those effects would vanish after an over-five month period. Based on causality test, there was only a one-way relationship from FDR to OER."

Inflasi, sedangkan karakteristik specific firm berupa leverage, capitalization,
operating expense, asset quality, number of branch, dan firm size. Profitabilitas

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of macroeconomic
indicators and firm-specific characteristics on the profitability of Islamic banks in
Asia for period 2008-2012. Macroeconomic indicators using variables GDP
growth and inflation, while the firm-specific characteristics using variables
leverage, capitalization, operating expense, asset quality, number of branches, and
firm size. Bank profitability measured by ROA and ROE. Research method using
Least Squares Method regression (LSM) to process the data types unbalanced
panels and balanced panels.
The result of this research shows that capital, firm size, GDP growth, and
inflation are determinants affecting ROA with positive and significant influence,
while operating expense and leverage are significantly negative determinants that
affect ROA. Asset quality and number of branches doesn’t have significant
influence to ROA. The research also shows that determinant factors that affect
ROE with positive and significant influence are capital, number of branch, GDP
growth, and inflation. While operating expense, and asset quality are determinants
that affect significantly negative to ROE. Leverage and firm size doesn’t have a
significant influence to ROE."
