"Followership mulai popular untuk diteliti sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya kesadaran bahwa kesuksesan sebuah organisasi tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pemimpin yang berkualitas (leadership), tetapi juga pengikut yang berkualitas (followership). Pada penelitian ini, beberapa faktor diteliti untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap followersip style pada sebuah perusahaan BUMN yang bergerak di bidang telekomunikasi. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah participative leadership, follower self determination, dan person organization fit.
Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ketiga faktor tersebut mempengaruhi secara positif terhadap pembentukan exemplary follower yaitu followership style yang paling baik menurut Kelley (1992). Selain itu, dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui kecenderungan followership style yang ada pada perusahaan yang diteliti. Hubungan antara followership style yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian dan level job satisfaction diuji.
Dari hasil pengujian disimpulkan bahwa exemplary follower menunjukkan level job satisfaction yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan followership style yang lain (pragmatist dan conformist).

Followership gaining popularity for research in line with the growing awareness that the success of an organization is not only determined by the quality of leader (leadership), but also determined by quality of followers (followership). In this study, several factors were examined to determine its effect on followersip styles in a state-owned company engaged in the field of telecommunications. These factors are participative leadership, follower selfdetermination, and the person organization fit.
From the research, it is known that these three factors positively influence on the formation of exemplary followership style, the best style of followership by Kelley (1992). In addition, the results of this research note followership style tendencies that exist in the company being investigated. Then, the relationship between followership style derived from the results of research and job satisfaction levels are tested.
It is concluded that level of job satisfaction of exemplary follower is higher than level of job satisfaction of other followership style (pragmatist and conformist).

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas pengaruh rasa saling percaya antar anggota (Trust),
kepemimpinan dalam komunitas (community leadership), keterikatan antar anggota
(member connectedness), komitmen anggota (member commitment), dan
dukungan manajemen (management support) terhadap efektifitas community of
practice (community of practice effectiveness) untuk efektifitas pemecahan
masalah (problem solving effectiveness) di PLN Unit Distribusi Jakarta Raya dan
Tangerang (PLN Disjaya). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan melalui
survey kuesioner untuk uji hipotesis terhadap anggota community of practice yang
ada di PLN Disjaya.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dalam komunitas, rasa
keterikatan anggota, dan dukungan manajemen memainkan peranan penting dalam
efektifitas community of practice yang juga berperan dalam menentukan efektifitas
pemecahan masalah. Namun, tidak ditemukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan
dari rasa saling percaya anggota dan komitmen komunitas terhadap efektifitas
community of practice dan efektifitas pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini dapat
menjadi masukan dalam mempertimbangkan cara pengukuran dampak COP
terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

ABSTRACT
This study analyze the effect of trust, community leadership, member
connectedness, member commitment, and management support on community of
practice effectiveness for problem solving effectiveness in PLN Jakarta Raya and
Tangerang Distribution Unit (PLN Disjaya). The study employs quantitative
method and questionnaire survey of community of practice member in PLN Disjaya
in order to conduct hypotheses testing.
The results show that community leadership, member connectedness, and
management support have significant effect on community of practice effectiveness,
which in turn affect problem solving effectiveness. However, this study cannot
found the effect of trust and member commitment on community of practice
effectiveness for problem solving effectiveness. This study suggest insights in
measuring the impact of community of practice on organizational performance."

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh size, profitability, tangibility, non-debt tax shield, retained profits, dan liquidity perusahaan terhadap struktur hutang perusahaan yang tercermin dalam total debt, long term debt, dan short term debt. Sampel yang digunakan sebagai objek penelitian ini adalah 32 perusahaan dalam industri kelapa sawit di negara Indonesia dan Malaysia yang terdaftar di dalam bursa masing-masing negara dengan periode penelitian tahun 2007-2013. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian diperoleh dari software Thomson Eikon Reuters dan diolah dengan software Eviews 7. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa size, profitability, tangibility, non-debt tax shield, dan liquidity memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap setidaknya satu dari tiga unsur struktur hutang yang diteliti dalam periode tertentu, sedangkan retained profits tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap ketiganya di sepanjang periode penelitian;The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of firm?s size, profitability, tangibility, non-debt tax shield, retained profits, and liquidity to its debt structure reflected on its total debt, long term debt, and short term debt. "Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan combine analysis (data panel) yang merupakan gabungan analisa cross sectional dengan time series dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2012-2014. Populasi penelitian industri manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesiasebagai, perusahaan dengan sampel sebanyak 120 selama periode 2012- 2014 melalui metode purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Juni 2015 dengan menggunakan instrument berupa data sekunder dan laporan keuangan yang telah diaudit selama periode pengamatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan VAIC sebagai faktor modal intelektual yang mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan manufaktur. Hasil analisis menunjukan kinerja perusahaan yang diukur menggunakan Market to Book Value (MBV), Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Equity dapat dijelaskan menggunakan metode Value Added Intellectual Capital (VAIC). Berdasarkan hasil uji-t, penelitian ini dapat membuktikan bahwa VAIC memiliki hubungan positif dengan kinerja perusahaan.

This research is a quantitative study using a combined analysis (panel data) which is a combination of cross-sectional analysis of the time series and aims to determine the factors that affect the performance of the companies in manufacturing industries listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia 2012-2014 period. The study population is a companies in manufacturing industries listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia with a sample of 120 during the period of 2012-2014 through purposive sampling method. The study was conducted in April-June 2015 using the instrument in the form of secondary data and audited financial statements during the period of observation. This study uses the VAIC approach as a intellectual capital factors that affect the firm performance. Results of the analysis showed that Market to Book value (MBV), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) can be predicted using the VAIC method. Based on t-test results, this study can prove VAIC and its aspects have a positive relation with firm performance."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian dan iklim organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pada organisasi JOB XYZ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 178 sampel pada JOB XYZ. Sampel didapatkan dengan menggunakan probability sampling yaitu proportionate stratified random sampling untuk mendapatkan proporsi responden dari PT X, PT Y dan JOB XYZ hire. Penelitian ini mengukur organizational citizenship behavior menggunakan Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (Podsakof, 2000), kepribadian diukur berdasarkan skala Five Factor Personality Scale (Goldberg, 1999), iklim organisasi diukur menggunakan Organizational Climate Scale (Litwin & Stinger, 1968). Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik yaitu uji normalitas, heterokesdatisitas dan multikolaritas kemudian menggunakan inferential multiple regression. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepribadian memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB karyawan. Begitu juga halnya iklim organisasi yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB karyawan.

This study describes about the influence of personality and organizational climate related to organizational citizenship behavior JOB organization XYZ. This study used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 178 samples at XYZ JOB. Samples of this study obtained by using probability sampling that is proportionate stratified random sampling to achieve the proportion of respondents from PT X, Y and JOB PT XYZ. This study measured the Organizational Citizenship Behavior by using Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (Podsakof, 2000), personality measured by the scale of the Five Factor Personality Scale (Goldberg, 1999), organizational climate is measured by using the Organizational Climate Scale (Litwin and Stinger, 1968). The data is analyzed by using the classical assumption of normality test, heteroskedastic and multicorrelation then using inferential multiple regression. This study found that the personality has significant influence to the OCB of employees. Moreover, the organizational climate has significant influence to the OCB of employees as well."

"Salah satu peran paling penting pemimpin perusahaan adalah menghasilkan keputusan stratejik yang efektif. Keputusan stratejik yang dihasilkan akan menentukan tingkat daya saing perusahaan di dalam industri. Telah diketahui secara luas bahwa kepercayaan dan kolaborasi antar Top Management Team (TMT) memberikan dampak penting terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan stratejik. Selain itu juga diketahui bahwa proses pengambilan keputusan secara rasional komprehensif akan menentukan efektivitas keputusan yang dibuat oleh TMT.
Tujuan dari riset ini adalah mempelajari bagaimana hubungan kepercayaan dan kolaborasi antar anggota TMT terhadap seberapa komprehensif proses pengambilan keputusan yang mereka lakukan. Studi empiris telah dilakukan dengan mengembangkan model penelitian bagaimana proses pengambilan keputusan stratejik dilakukan di perusahaan tambang di Indonesia. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) untuk menganalisa 267 responden yang mewakili perusahaan tambang, baik perusahaan tambang Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) maupun perusahaan tambang swasta.
Penelitian menemukan bahwa TMT Collaboration menjadi mediator dari TMT Trust terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan yang rasional komprehensif. Untuk membuat proses pengambilan keputusan yang efektif, TMT harus memiliki kepercayaan dan kolaborasi yang tinggi antar mereka. Selain itu, proses pengambilan keputusan harus dilakukan secara komprehensif baik prosesnya maupun pembahasan isi keputusan yang akan dibuat.

Studi ini memberikan kontribusi kepada dunia akademis khususnya di bidang pembuatan keputusan stratejik. Temuan penelitian tentang hubungan TMT Trust dan TMT Collaboration terhadap pengambilan keputusan secara komprehensif baik proses dan pembahasan isi (Content) akan memperkaya literatur bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja organisasi dengan melakukan proses pengambilan keputusan yang optimal dan efektif. Kontribusi manajerial dihasilkan dari model proses pengambilan keputusan stratejik yang optimal yang dapat diterapkan di perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi.


One of the most important roles of top management in the organization is how effective the strategic decision they make. The strategic decision will determine the competitiveness of the company in the industry. It is widely known that trust and collaboration of Top Management Team (TMT) generates positive impacts in the strategic decision making process. It is also known that rational process determines the effectiveness of decision that been made by TMT.
The aim of this research is to study the relations between TMT’s trust and collaboration toward rational comprehensive on strategic decision making process. An empirical study has been undertaken to develop a model on how to make the effective strategic decision making process for mining companies. This study utilizes Structural Equation Model (SEM) Lisrel methodology to analyze 267(two-hundred and sixty-seven) respondents representing mining companies in Indonesia.
This study has found that TMT collaboration being a mediator of TMT trust to rational strategic decision making. To develop an effective strategic decision making process, TMT must possess a high trust and collaboration, as well as a high process and content comprehensiveness.
This study contributes to existing literature on strategic management, especially the strategic decision making. The finding generated from TMT trust and collaboration relation to comprehensiveness process and content will certainly enrich the literature on how to improve organizational performance by means of conducting optimal and effective strategic decision making process. The insight produced from this study will provide managerial advise by proposing an optimal model of strategic decision making process that could boost company performance.

"Disrupsi digital meningkatkan risiko manajemen inovasi pada perusahaan-perusahaan mapan. Studi ini mengkaji variabel-variabel utama untuk meningkatkan kinerja inovasi di lingkungan yang terdisrupsi dengan menerapkan strategic entrepreneurship process, yang menggabungkan kegiatan opportunity-seeking activities (OSA) dan advantage-seeking activities (ASA). Model penelitian mengadopsi kerangka input-process-output/outcome dari Hitt et al. (2011). Studi ini mengambil sampel dari 118 manajer dibidang inovasi dari TELKOM dan Bank BRI, dua perusahaan terbesar di industri telekomunikasi dan perbankan di Indonesia. Setiap sampel berisi data dari 131 item kuesioner. Data ini dianalisis menggunakan SPSS untuk analisis varians (ANOVA) dan menggunakan SmartPLS untuk pengukuran dan analisis model struktural.
Tujuh hipotesis diverifikasi. Dua dari tujuh hipotesis tidak terdukung. Pada OSA, budaya kewirausahaan tidak berdampak langsung pada perumusan strategi inovasi. Sementara di ASA, inovasi kolaboratif tidak berdampak langsung pada konfigurasi kapabilitas inovasi inti. Entrepreneurial leadership sangat penting dalam merumuskan strategi inovasi. Variabel leadership ini memiliki multikolinearitas dengan entrepreneurial culture. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel simbiotik. Sementara dalam menerapkan strategi inovasi, konfigurasi kapabilitas inovasi inti yang memadukan eksplorasi peluang dan eksploitasi keunggulan meningkatkan kinerja inovasi.  Namun, karena core rigidities dan perbedaan model bisnis, konfigurasi kapabilitas inovasi inti tidak dikonfigurasikan langsung dengan inovasi kolaboratif.
Dalam model alternatif, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurial culture memediasi entrepreneurial leadership dalam merumuskan strategi inovasi. Selain itu,  inovasi kolaboratif dengan start-ups dan konfigurasi kapabilitas inovasi inti merupakan dua sumber arus inovasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja inovasi perusahaan mapan di industri yang terdisrupsi. Studi ini memvalidasi bahwa bagi perusahaan mapan kedua aliran inovasi ini berjalan secara terpisah karena core rigidities, maturitas digital, dan perbedaan model bisnis. Pada akhirnya, keragaman pengetahuan dari aliran inovasi ganda ini dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja inovasi mereka dalam lingkungan yang terdisrupsi.
Dari penelitian ini, ada sejumlah kontribusi teoretis yang memperkaya teori-teori sebelumnya tentang strategic entrepreneurship dan collaborative innovation serta implikasi empiris bagi para manajer pada perusahaan mapan di industri yang terdisrupsi. Studi ini juga merekomendasi riset lanjutan dalam mengeksplorasi aliran transformasi ganda.

Digital disruption leads to high-level risk in innovation management on established firms in disrupted industries. This study investigates the key variables to enhance innovation performance in a disruptive environment by applying strategic entrepreneurship process, which combines opportunity-seeking activities (OSA) and advantage-seeking activities (ASA). The proposed research model adopts the input-process-output/outcome framework from Hitt et al. (2011). This study sampled from 118 innovation-related managers of TELKOM and Bank BRI, the two largest established firms in the telecommunication and banking industries in Indonesia. These samples allow us to obtain data from 131 items of the questionnaire. This data was analyzed using SPSS for analysis of variance (ANOVA) and using SmartPLS for measurement and structural model analyses.
Seven hypotheses were verified. Two out of seven are not supported. In OSA, entrepreneurial culture has no direct impact on formulating innovation strategy. While in ASA, collaborative innovation has no direct impact on configuring core innovation capabilities. The entrepreneurial leadership is essential in formulating innovation strategy. This leadership variable has multicollinearity with that of entrepreneurial culture. It indicates that both variables are symbiotic. While in implementing the innovation strategy, the configuring core innovation capabilities that combine exploring the opportunity and exploiting the firms advantage enhance the innovation performance. However, due to core rigidities and different nature of innovation speed, this configuring core innovation capabilities should not be configured with collaborative innovation.
In the alternative model, the study shows that in OSA, entrepreneurial culture mediates the entrepreneurial leadership in formulating the innovation strategy. The study also found that collaborative innovation with start-ups along with configuring core innovation capabilities is the dual-source of innovation streams to enhance the innovation performance of an established firm in a disrupted industry. The study validates that for established firms, due to core rigidities, digital maturity, and business model differences, these dual innovation streams run as separate streams. In the end, both transformation paths altogether confirm that diversity of knowledge on dual innovation streams can optimize their innovation performance in a disruptive environment.
From the study, there are a number of theoretical contributions that enrich the previous theories on Strategic Entrepreneurship and Collaborative Innovation as well as empirical implications for managers in established firms of disrupted industries. Further study is proposed to explore critical success factors on running the dual transformation streams as well as critical elements to successfully link both transformations.
