ABSTRAK Invasi industri musik K-Pop, yang dikenal dengan istilah hallyu, telah menjelma menjadi sebuah budaya populer yang menyebar hampir di seluruh belahan dunia termasuk Indonesia. Kajian mengenai budaya musik korea pun telah banyak dilakukan dengan melihat fanatisme yang banyak dipengaruhi oleh aspek kemajuan sosial media hingga kedekatan budaya. Studi ini berupaya melengkapi hasil kajian sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu penulis berargumen bahwa tingkat keterpaparan konten budaya musik K-Pop merupakan aspek yang mempengaruhi tingkat fanatisme penggemar. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data survei terhadap sekitar 96 responden ABSTRACT The invasion of the K Pop music industry, known as hallyu, has been transformed into a popular culture spreading almost around the world including Indonesia. The previous study about Korean culture has been explain about fanaticism that influenced by several aspects like social media and cultural proximity. This study attempts to complement the results of previous studies by looking at the relationship of socio economic status and the level of content exposure with level of fanaticism of adolescent fans in Indonesia. This study argue that the cultural content exposure of K Pop music is one of the aspect that influence the level of fanatism of fans in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research method with survey data collection technique to about 96 respondents. |
