Corak kebudayaan Indonesia tidak terlepas dari pengaruh sejarah kolonialisme Belanda. Bentuk interaksi dalam waktu yang lama mempengaruhi budaya Belanda dan Indonesia, sehingga menghasilkan bentuk budaya baru tanpa menghilangkan budaya aslinya atau yang disebut sebagai akulturasi. Proses ini khususnya tercermin dalam aspek bahasa, kuliner, dan arsitektur Belanda di Indonesia. Untuk meninjau proses tersebut, rumusan masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana akulturasi budaya Belanda dan Indonesia di restoran Huize Trivelli. Metode penelitian kualitatif diterapkan dengan landasan teori akulturasi dari Redfield, Linton, Herskovits, dan Koentjaraningrat, serta teori kebudayaan terbuka oleh Ralph Linton. Data dianalisis melalui hasil observasi dan wawancara yang terkumpul selama kunjungan ke restoran Huize Trivelli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa restoran Huize Trivelli mengimplementasikan akulturasi budaya Belanda dan Indonesia dan menciptakan pengalaman dalam aspek bahasa, kuliner, dan arsitektur yang harmonis. Restoran ini dapat menjadi sebuah simbol dari interaksi kedua budaya yang saling terintegrasi. The cultural landscape of Indonesia is deeply intertwined with the legacy of Dutch colonialism. The prolonged interaction between the two societies has significantly influenced both Dutch and Indonesian cultures, giving rise to a unique hybrid culture through a process known as acculturation. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the Dutch influences on the Indonesian language, cuisine, and architecture. This study aims to explore the acculturation process between Dutch and Indonesian cultures as exemplified by Huize Trivelli restaurant. Employing a qualitative research methodology, this study is grounded in acculturation theories articulated by Redfield, Linton, Herskovits, and Koentjaraningrat, as well as Ralph Linton's open culture theory. Data were meticulously gathered through observations and interviews conducted during an onsite visit to Huize Trivelli restaurant. The findings reveal that Huize Trivelli restaurant successfully integrates Dutch and Indonesian cultural elements, creating a harmonious blend in terms of language, culinary offerings, and architectural design. The restaurant serves as a significant emblem of the cultural interplay between Dutch and Indonesian traditions, demonstrating a seamless fusion that respects and preserves the essence of both cultures. |
