"Under the prevailing law in Indonesia no. 32/1997 about commodity futures exchange, the government had aplied the rules of risk management by market mechanism scheme. These rules had given a chance to futures broker company to serve people in futures investment. To be able to give such service, the company must have employees that can afford a maximal working effectiveness.
The purpose of this research's was to analysis upon employee's perception over the working effectiveness which have been doing in daily activity in one organization. There are seven major indicators in this measurement which are presented by George D. Halsey, The indicators are list as follow: working quantity, working quality, initiative, working attitude, effort, cooperation, and originality which are performed by employees in the company.
This research's use quantitative approach with descriptive method. The numbers of population are 40 respondents and total sampling used was sampling technique. In order to get some information, researcher has to distribute the questioner to all respondents at PT Realtime Forex Futures (RTFF), the research's period was during May 2008. Researcher did an interview to find out about the working effectiveness perception from respondents. To analyze the data the researcher used descriptive frequencies table, which use computer program SPSS version 16,0 for windows to process the data.
Based on the result of research, it has found that majority of respondents have a good perception about the working effectiveness at PT Realtime Forex Futures. The rate of satisfaction can be proven by a high respond (weighted score between 155 until 168) from respondents over the seven indicators which generally gave positive perception upon the working effectiveness in the company. To increase the working effectiveness, for the future employees need to be given the correct and appropriate socialization (regarding target and supervision), in order to know and understand what performance that is expected by the company."

"Human resources are the assets of organizations that play the most important role in accomplishing company?s goals. They have the risk of getting into an accident and health problems in their working environment. The level of risk for each person varies depending on their nature of job or their working locations. Aware this condition, PT. Lestari Busana A.M., a garment industries, has implemented safety and health program in the company. One excellent way to assess the accountability of the implementation is through perception survey.
This research focused study and analyzed perception of employees to execute of health and safety work program with supported by a number of indicator that is work-accident, work-safety, work-healthy, the last safety and health work program management. Safety and health work program is constitute to prevent the occur of work accident. There are two targets of this research, that is to know how the execution of safety and health work program in the company with knowing employees perception and to know the constraints from the execution of safety and health work program in the company.
This research use quantitative approach representing selection of variation from social phenomenon studied. There are three kind of detail examination are descriptive, cross-sectional study and pure research.
The variable of this research is univariate. The measuring instrument that is used in this research are questioner, observation and also interview in order to searching answer to raised research questions. Population in this research amount to 810 peoples with amount of sample 89 peoples who is taken with non-probability of stratified random sampling for the employees who has at least one year of employment only. Measurement of mount used in this research is ordinal measurement and use likert scale. The questioner which have been gathered, then made the tabulation of percentage to know dominant value each indicator (Quantitative) and also use central tendency technique.
Pursuant to research result, all respondent express to agree with the execution of safety and health work program. The constraints from the execution of safety and health work program can be handle cause there is cooperation between employer and employee although there are a few employees have neutral responses regarding the implementation. Good execution have been proven can be minimize amount of work accident in company. The company has to involve them in identifying the hazards of their job, so they will be more aware in implementing safety in their daily task.

"Dalam menghadapi era globalisasi, perusahaan yang memiliki daya saing dan pegawai yang memberikan kontribusi terbaiknya kepada perusahaan yang dapat bertahan. Untuk menilai besarnya kontribusi pegawai kepada perusahaan dibuatlah sistem penilaian kinerja
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara persepsi pegawai tentang harapan pegawai, motivasi kerja, kemampuan kerja dan kompensasi dengan kinerja pegawai di PT. Bank BNI (Persero) Tbk. Metode penelitien ini adalah analisis diskriptip, dengan populasi penelitian pegawai tetap Bank BNI di Divisi Perencanaan Strategis, Divisi Sumber Daya Manusia dan Divisi Umum, sebanyak 261 orang dan teknik penarikan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sample ditentukan sampel sebanyak 150 responden.
Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner atau angket. Metode analisis korelasi statistik parametris (1) Korelasi Bivariat (2) Korelasi Multi Variat. Dengan menggunakan alat bantu analisis yaitu Program Statistical Package for Statistical Science (SPSS) for window release 10,0 dan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) yang dikenal dengan LISREL 8.30.
Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara persepsi tentang harapan pegawai dengan motivasi kerja, persepsi tentang motivasi kerja dengan kinerja, persepsi tentang kemampuan kerja dengan kinerja, persepsi tentang kompensasi dengan kinerja, dengan koefisien korelasi bervariasi dari 0.19 sampai dengan 0.4. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar terhadap kinerja adalah hubungan antara persepsi tentang kompensasi dengan kinerja sebesar 0.41. Dengan menggunakan metode LISREL dapat diestimasi koefisien yang mempunyai pengaruh tidak langsung yaitu ada pengaruh tidak langsung antara variabel harapan dengan variabel kinerja (sebesar 0.21) dan menurut Sugiyono (2001:172), koefisien jalur sebesar 0.21 dapat dikategorikan sebagai hubungan dengan tingkat yang lemah. Namun diketahui pemodelan tersebut menunjukkan ketidakcocokan variabel-variabel independen (harapan pegawai, kemampuan kerja dan kompensasi) memprediksikan kinerja.
Dengan menggunakan metode LISREL, ditemukan pemodelan yang cocok bahwa variabel bebas (motivasi kerja, dan kemampuan kerja) memprediksikan variabel terikat (kompensasi) dan variabel moderator adalah kinerja. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar memprediksikan kompensasi adalah variabel motivasi dengan variabel moderator kinerja yaitu sebesar 0,62 dan menurut Sugiyono (2001:172), koefisien jalur sebesar 0,62 dapat dikategorikan sebagai hubungan dengan tingkat yang kuat."

"Pendahuluan : Berkaitan dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan perlu dipertimbangkan berbagai risiko atau potensi bahaya yang timbul dari pekerjaan tersebut. Hal ini bisa terjadi akbat sistem kerja alau cara kerja dari manusia, ala!/mesin, bahan serta lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pegawai tetap Dinas Keschatan Kota Depok terhadap bahaya psikososial di tempat kelja tahun 2006.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan disain diskripsi analitik dengan pendekatan cross seclional. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai tetap Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok sebanyak 100 responden, teknik pengambilan sampel adalah convenience sampling / quota sampling. Pengambilan data dengan observasi/pengamatan, wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis statistik SPSS 11.5 menggunakan univariat dan bivariat dcngan uji Anova, uji Lanjutan Turkey dan uji T.
Hasil penelitian : Hasil pcnclitian ini diketahui bahwa persepsi pegawai tenlang 1 (I) secara umum persepsi pegawai yang dominan terhadap bahaya psikososial adalah Contenz qf work atau isi kerja (2,39) dan secara khusus adalah kondisi Iingkungan kerja (l,48) dipersepsikan paling rendah / negatif ; (2) perbcdaan pcrsepsi mcnurut status pegawai bahwa fungsi & budaya organisasi (2,3O), peraturan organisasi (2,2C), Iingkungan & peralatan kcrja (2,06) Serta desain lugas (2,212) dipersepsikan paling rendah / negatif oleh CPNS; (3) pcrbedaan persepsi mcnurut lama keda bahwa fungsi & budaya organisasi (2,55), peraturan organisasi (2,33), serta kondisi lingkungan kerja (l,70) dipersepsikan paling rendah / negatif oleh pegawai yang bekerja < 5 tahun; (4) perbedaan persepsi menurut jabatan bahwa fimgsi & budaya organisasi (2,6l) dan pengembangan karier (2,25) dipersepsikan palin rendah / negatif oleh staf; (5) perbedaan persepsi di bidang/bagian bahwa pengambilan keputusan (2,06) dipersepsikan paling rendah I negatif di bidang P2P & PL Sedangkan kondisi Iingkungan kelja (I,48) dan Iingkungan & pcralatan kcrja (2,05) dipcrscpsikan paling rcndah I ncgatif di bidang Binkesmas.
Kesimpulan : Persepsi pegawai secara umum yang dominan terhadap bahaya psikososial adalah conlem of work (isi kerja) meliputi lingkungan & peralatan kerja, desain tugas, jadwal kcrja dan bcban kcrja. Scdangkan untuk conlext of work (lingkup kerja) adalah kondisi lingkungan kerja, fimgsi & budaya organisasi, peraturan organisasi, pengambilan keputusan dan pengembangan karier.

Preface : In relation to work implementation, it must be considered the risks or hayard of potencial which come tiom it. These can happen because of the work system, people work methode, tools/machines, material and environment. This research is aimed at knowing perception of the Health Dictrict of Depok City Officials in toward Psychosocial Hazard at the Work Place in 2006.
Methode : This research use analytic description design by cross sectional approach. Research population is 100 permanent official in the Health District of Depok City by using Convenience sampling/Quota sampling. The data was taken by observation, interview and questionnaire distribution to population. Analitic Statistic with SPSS ll.5 uses univariat and bivariat by Anova Test, Turkey's Advanced Test and T Test.
Result of Research : Result of this research shows that the officials's perceptions are as follows : (I) In General the ofticials's perceptions which dominantly toward psychosocial hazard is Content of work (2,39) include work environment & work equipment, task design, work schedule and work load/workpace And specially, condition of work environment (1 ,48) is lowest/negative; (2) The different perception based on official status shows that organisational culture & function (2,30), role in organisation (2,20), work environment & work equipment (2,06) and task design (2,22) are perceived the lowest/negative by CPNS; (3) The different perception based on length of work shows that organisational culture & function (2,55), role in organisation (2,33), condition of work environment (l,70) are perceived the lowest/negative by the officials who have work less than tive years; (4) The different perception based on level of work shows that organisation culture & function (2,6l) and career development (2,25) are perceived the lowest/negative by the Staff; (5) The different perception based on the field/section of work shows that decision latitude/control (2,06) is perceived the lowest/negative in the field of P2P & PL, whereas condition of work environment (l,48) and work environment & work equipment (2,05) in the Held of Binkesmas.
Conclusion : The work characteristic of oHicials's perceptions which dominantly toward psychosocial hazard is Content of work include work environment & work equipment, task design, work schedule and workload I workpace. Whereas for context of work include condition of work environment, organisational culture & fimction, role in organisation, decision latitude/control, career development.

"Departemen Radioterapi RS. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo merupakan salah satu pelayanan medik yang ada di RS. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusmo yang memberikan pengobatan terapi radiasi terhadap kasus keganasan (Kankcr). Tujuan dari pcnclitian ini agar intervensi atau rencana strategi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efektiiitas kelja akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan di Departemen Radioterapi RSCM.
Penelilian ini dilakukan selama periods 30 Januari 2007 sampai 30 Juni 2007 terhadap 50 responden dengan menggunakan angket. Variabel yang diukur dalarn penelitian ini adalah lingkungan kerja, kcpuasan pegawai, kinemja dan efektiiitas kerja pegawai. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis jalur atau disebut juga dengan Parh Analysis (PA). Metode ini digunakan untuk melihat pola hubungan antar variabel baik variabel penyebab (variabel eksogen) terhadap vaxiabel akibat (vatiabel endogen) dengan anaiisis data korelasi sederhana, berganda dan regresi.
Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung zuaupun tidak langsung antara variabcl Iingkungan kexja, kepuasan dan kinexja pegawai terhadap efektititas kelja pegawai di Departemen Radioterapi RSCM dengan memiliki kontribusi 74,2%. Begitupula hubnngan antar masing-masing variabel yang memiliki nilai pengaruh yang signiiikan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, maka disarankan sebagai berikut: 1) Mempertahankan pengelolaan lingkungan kerja, kepuasan dan kinerja pegawai yang selama ini telah tertata dengan baik, dan selalu memperhitungkan aspek keselamatan radiasi bagi pasien, petugas maupun lingkungan sekitar. 2) Seixing dengan persaingan global, maka Dcpartemen Radioterapi RSCM harus tems meningkatkan pengcmbangan kuaiitas dari SDM yang merupakan modal utama dan subjek penggerak organisasi. 3) Perlu dilakukannya analisa beban kcrja berdasarkan jumlah pegawai di lingkungan Departemen Radioterapi RSCM

The Radiotherapy Depanment of Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital is an institution which gives radiation treatment to cancer patients. The aim of this research was to find out the right intervention to increase the work effectivity in Radiotherapy Department.
Between January, 30 2007 and June, 30 2007, questionnaires were randomly given to 50 employees of the department. Variables measmed in the study were working environment, job satisfaction and performance to working etfectivity. Path Analysis method was done to see the correlation between exogenous and endogenous variables using simple, double correlation, and regression analysis.
We found direct and indirect effect between the variables working environment, job satisfaction, performance, and the working effectivity of employees with contribution 74,2%.
The results of this study suggest that the working effectivity of the employees is influenced by the working environment, job satisfaction and performance. Thus, we suggest that: 1) The Radiotherapy department should keep maintaining the work environment, job satisfaction and performance, with regards to the safety aspects of the patients, employees and environment. 2) The Radiotherapy Department should keep the quality of its services and increase the perfonnance of its facilities. It is essential that The Departement of Radiotherapy develop a program for developing its human resources as an important asset for better services. 3) Workload indicator of staffing need."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara mendalam faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja engineer Managed Services Department PT. Ericsson Indonesia. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan total sampling yang berjumlah sebanyak 25 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi 30 pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis univariat yaitu distribusi frekuensi dan hasil jawaban dari kuestioner dilakukan menggunakan skala Likert. Data penelitian ini diambil dari dua sumber yaitu data primer, data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari responden sebagai sumber data melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara di lokasi penelitian, kedua yaitu data sekunder, yaitu data pendukung atau pelengkap data primer yang diperoleh dari dokumen atau literatur yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan teori Herzberg dan Luthans ditemukan hasil yang positif dari persepsi responden atas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja.

The purpose of this research is to know deeply about the factors that affecting a job satisfaction among the engineer employ in Managed Services Department PT. Ericsson Indonesia. The subjects of this research were 25 employees, taken from population using total sampling technique. The instrument of the research used the questionnaire that contained 30 statements. Technically the analysis of the data using the univariat analysist where the distribution of the frequency and results of the answer of questioners is carried out used the Likert scale. This research data is taken from two sources, first is the primary data, which is received directly from the respondent as the source of the data through the spreading of the questionnaire and interview in the location of the research, second is the secondary data, which is supporting data or primary data accessories that are received from the document or literature which is connected with this research. Therefore based on the Herzberg and Luthans? theories there is positive result of job satisfaction among engineer in Managed Services Department PT. Ericsson Indonesia."

"Sebagai organisasi yang memberikan pelayanan jasa angkutan penerbangan, PT.Garuda Indonesia tidak terlepas dari unsur Sumber Daya Manusianya, yang merupakan pilar utama organisasi. Tanpa sumber daya manusia yang andal, maka tujuan organisasi yaitu melaksanakan dan menunjang kebijakan dan program pemerintah serta memupuk keuntungan bagi perseroan, khususnya dengan menyelenggarakan angkutan penerbangan di bidang jasa pengangkutan udara, tidak akan terpenuhi.
Tujuan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran dan penjelasan yang akurat serta menjelaskan fenomena hubungan dan kontribusi antara variabel-variabel kepuasan pelanggan, nilai pelayanan dan kepuasan kerja pegawai. Selain itu penelitan ini juga dimaksudkan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan model Service Profit Chain (Heskett, et.al, 1997) di PT. Garuda Indonesia.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 137 penumpang yang berangkat dari Bandara Soekarno-Hatta dengan berbagai tujuan baik domestik maupun internasional serta 137 karyawan yang terdiri dari frontliner, administrator dan yang bekerja di unit-unit bisnis strategic PT. Garuda Indonesia di Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel karyawan dilakukan dengan cara acak tidak proporsional, sedangkan pengambilan sampel pelanggan dilakukan dengan cara tidak acak (non probability sampling).
Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dengan skala Likert dan analisisnya menggunakan teknik korelasi rank Spearman. Sedangkan untuk mengukur hubungan antar variabel digunakan teknik regresi sederhana. Pengukuran dan pengolahan datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bantu komputer SPSS versi 11.0.
Hasil penelitian pengukuran tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dengan metode Servqual, secara umum menunjukkan nilai puas (82,38%). Nilai pelayanan, yang terdiri dari nilai bagi pelanggan dan nilai bagi pegawai berada pada posisi sesuai dengan skor (3,75) dan (3,47). Sementara itu skor hasil pengukuran tingkat kepuasan pegawai menunjukkan nilai netral (3,26), sedangkan tingkat implementasi model service profit chain menghasilkan skor nilai 4,68 (belum sepenuhnya diterapkan perusahaan).
Hasil hubungan antara variabel kepuasan pelanggan dengan variabel nilai pelanggan yang diteliti, menunjukkan adanya nilai yang positif namun kurang signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi (r)= 0.1560. Demikian juga hubungan antara variabel kepuasan pelanggan dan variabel kepuasan kerja karyawan tampak positif namun sangat lemah, dengan r = 0.0003 Sedangkan hubungan variabel nilai bagi pekerja dengan variabel kepuasan kerja pegawai tampak positif dan cukup kuat dengan r = 0.6780.
Berdasarkan penelitian ini, maka untuk memperbaiki kinerja perusahaan kedepan, sebaiknya dibuat skala prioritas berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang paling dominan baik yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan maupun kepuasan karyawannya dengan mempertimbangkan keseimbangan antara produksi dan kemampuan produksi perusahaan.

Analysisi of Relation Between Customer Satisfaction, Service Value and Employee Satisfaction at PT. Garuda IndonesiaAs an organization that provides air transport services, PT. Garuda Indonesia is in separable from the element of Human Resources, which is the main pillar of the organization. Without reliable human resources, the aim of the organization, which is to support and carry out the policy and program of Government and earn profits for the company, particularly by carrying out flight transportation in the air transport service industry, will not be reached.
The purpose of this descriptive research is to get a clear picture and accurate explanation of the relations and contribution between these variables: customer satisfaction, service value and employee satisfaction. In addition, this study is intended to identify the application of Service Profit Chain model (Heskett, et.al. 1997) at PT. Garuda Indonesia.
The samples in this research consist of 137 passengers departing from Soekamo-Hatta Airport for various destinations, domestic and international, and 137 employees consisting of front liners, administrators and those working at strategic business units of PT. Garuda Indonesia in Jakarta. Employee samples were taken at random and are not proportional while customer samples were not taken at random (non probability sampling).
The technique of data collecting made use of sealed questionnaires with the Likert scale and analysis made use of the rank Spearman correlation technique. To measure the relations between the variables the technique of simple regression was used. The measurement and processing of data were done with the help of an SPSS version 11.0 computer.
The result of measuring the degree of customer satisfaction by the Servqual method generally shows the value of satisfaction (82.38%). Service value which consists of value for customer and value for employee is at position that agrees with the score (3.75 and 347). Meanwhile the result of measuring the degree of employee satisfaction shows neutral value (3.26). For implementation of the Service Profit Chain model the score is 4.68 (it has not been implemented fully by the company).
The result of connection between customer satisfaction and customer value shows a positive but not significant value with the correlation coefficient (r) 0.1560. Likewise connection between customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction looks positive but very week, with r = 0.0003. Connection between value for employee and employee satisfaction appears positive and strong enough, with r = 0.6780.
According to this study, improvement of company performance in the future should preferably be accomplished through a scale priorities based on the most dominant factors that influence both customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction by taking into consideration the balance between production and the company's productive capacity.
