"In the history of generative grammar, the question of the semantics of compounds was caught up in what Newmeyer (1986) called the "Linguistic Wars", the conflict between generative semantics and interpretive semantics. An important difference between the two sides was the place they attributed to semantics in the architecture of grammar. In generative semantics, the semantic representation was the starting point for syntactic processing. The syntactic level of Deep Structure had been merged with the underlying semantic representation. In interpretive semantics, the semantic representation was derived from a syntactic representation by means of interpretation rules."

"Laporan magang ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan teori Project Execution dan Managing Communications pada XYZ Improvement Project di Bank DIDI. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kompetensi frontliners dalam mengoperasikan internet banking XYZ. Internet banking XYZ diciptakan untuk menggantikan internet banking sebelumnya yaitu ABC sehingga diperlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan secara komprehensif kepada para frontliners guna meningkatkan pelayanan kepada nasabah. Pelaksanaan magang di Bank DIDI diselenggarakan pada Agustus 2022 hingga Desember 2022. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh penulis menunjukkan bahwa XYZ Improvement Project telah melakukan sebagian besar aktivitas yang tercantum pada teori Project Execution maupun Managing Communications. Namun demikian, penulis masih menemukan beberapa aktivitas yang belum dilakukan pada proyek ini sehingga penulis memberikan beberapa evaluasi pada aktivitas proyek ini agar bisa dijalankan sesuai dengan teori yang ada. Selain itu, penulis juga memberikan enam rekomendasi untuk Bank DIDI agar bisa menjadi masukkan terhadap proyek yang sedang dijalankan.

This internship report aims to evaluate the implementation of Project Execution and Managing Communications theory to the XYZ Improvement Project at Bank DIDI. This project aims to increase the knowledge and competence of frontliners in operating XYZ internet banking. XYZ internet banking was created to replace the previous internet banking, namely ABC, so that Bank DIDI need to do some comprehensive socialization and training for frontliners to improve customer satisfaction. The internship at DIDI Bank was held from August 2022 to December 2022. The results of the evaluation show that the XYZ Improvement Project has carried out most of the activities stated in the Project Execution and Managing Communications theories. However, the authors still find several activities that have not been carried out in this project so the authors provide several evaluations on the activities of this project so that they can be carried out in accordance with the existing theory.
