Kapitalisme baru dibangun dengan logika jangka pendek, yaitu prosesharus berlangsung dengan cepat untuk mendapatkan keuntungan. Penelitian inimenggunakan paradigma kritis dan studi kasus sebagai strategi penelitiannya.Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis berita. Metodeanalisis data, yaitu logika jangka pendek milik Richard Sennett. Determinasiteknologi mendorong perusahaan terus berubah sehingga memunculkanketidakgunaan dan politik konsumsi yang menempatkan berita sebagai komoditas.Jurnalisme jangka pendek ditandai dengan berita ringkas, stripping, sensasional,berbagi konten, topik terhangat, dan viewers. Logika jangka pendekmengembalikan jurnalisme kuning ke media baru dan mengeksploitasi wartawan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis aims to reveal the impact of new capitalism on online journalism. Thenew capitalism emphasis on short-term thinking. The process must be fast andquick to gain profit for the company. This research uses a critical paradigm andcase studies as a research strategy. "Meningkatnya permintaan audiens jurnalisme olahraga atas produk digital mendorong jurnalis olahraga untuk beradaptasi dengan menerapkan konvergensi ruang redaksi. The increase of demand by the sports audience for digital products encourages sports journalists to adapt by implementing newsroom convergence. The shift towards online journalism includes the use of multimedia elements, hypertexts, and interactivity as the main elements of news production, as well as adding social media into the equation. This journal aims to understand how the Formula 1 league applies multimedia elements in producing online journalism as an effort to adapt to the digital era. The Formula 1 league has succeeded in consistently implementing three or more multimedia elements in every online journalism news production in the Formula1.com website as well as in social media which includes teks, video, audio and graphic."

"[ ABSTRAKIsu mengenai perseteruan antara FPI versus Ahok, diawali dari paralanguage Ahok dalam menyampaikan pesan secara eksplisit. Hal ini memunculkan pertanyaan penulis: bagaimana proses terbentuknya prejudice Ketua FPI terhadap Ahok? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, penulis menggunakan data sekunder melalui situs resmi FPI dan media online yang terkait dengan berbagai statement, baik dari pihak Ahok maupun FPI. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa cara bagaimana Ahok secara verbal menyampaikan gagasannya secara blak-blakan dimanfaatkan oleh pihak lawan untuk semakin jauh menyudutkan Ahok. Situasi ini berbanding terbalik dengan pernyataan pihak-pihak yang mendukung Ahok, yang justru menyatakan diri mereka sebagai muslim. Hal ini secara jelas mencerminkan bahwa profesionalitas Ahok dan sikap anti korupsi yang selama ini dia tegaskan justru mendapatkan nilai positif dari masyarakat.

ABSTRACTThe issue of conflict between FPI against Ahok, started from Ahok’s paralanguage in conveying anything in an outspoken manner. The question is: how was FPI Chairman’s prejudice against Ahok formed? To answer the question, I used secondary data through the examination on FPI’s official site and online media associated with various statements, from both Ahok and FPI. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded how oppositions took advantage from Ahok’s outspoken manner in conveying his ideas, to make the bad out of him. On the other hand, people who claimed to be moslem support Ahok.
