"This study aims at describing syntactic behavior of congruence and rection in Arabic by examining the syntactic element attached to them. This study also aims at determining types of congruence and rection in Arabic that have not been revealed so far.
Syntactic element that is involved in the process of congruence and rection is the secondary category such as person, number, gender, definiteness, case, mood, and aspect. Both of congruence and rection focused on relation between constituents in one construction. The two term can be distinguished by looking at the category involved.
Congruence focuses on the relation between constituents in one construction that is marked by the appearance of the same category, for example, the category of person, number, and gender play an important role in the relation between a subject and its verbal predicate, while rection focuses on relation that is marked by the appearance of a certain category resulted from the relation between one constituent and another constituent, for example, accusative case in the objective function is a result of relation between an object and its predicate.
This study concludes that in Arabic, congruence and rection can be found at the clause and phrase level.

"Televisi di tahun 1963 merupakan alat rumah tangga baru yang sangat digandrungi oleh setiap keluarga di Belanda karena mampu memberikan hiburan yang baik dari segi audio dan visual. Sebuah iklan televisi merek Philips dalam surat kabar Utrechtsch Nieuwsblad (29 Januari 1963) menarik perhatian karena masuk dalam kategori sebuah iklan yang baik karena memiliki unsur-unsur yang lengkap, seperti headline, slogan, bodycopy dan illustrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan diksi atau pilihan kata yang terdapat pada headline, slogan, dan bodycopy yang menjadi daya tarik iklan tersebut. Dari iklan televisi merek Philips dalam surat kabar Utrechtsch Nieuwsblad (1963), dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebuah iklan yang sederhana menjadi menarik jika memiliki unsur-unsur iklan yang lengkap dan menggunakan diksi atau pilihan kata yang tepat dan sesuai sehingga fungsi informatif dan persuasif iklan tercapai dan dipahami konsumen.

Television in 1963 a new household appliance that is very loved by every family in the Netherlands beacuse it is able to provide a good entertainment in audio and visual. Philips, a television commercil brand which appeared in Utrechtsch Nieuwsblad newspaper (January 29, 1963), interests me because it has well-defined category of advertisement in connection with its complete element such as headlines, slogans, bodycopy and illustration as the appeal of the advertisement. By analyzing Philips television commercial in Utrechtsch Nieuwsblad newspaper (1963), we can conclude that a simple a television commercial in the newspaper could be cacthy enough if it has a couple of complete elements as well asthe diction or selection of words that right and effectiveso that the informative and persuasive function of the advertisement could be achieved and understood by consumers.

"Penelitian ini menguraikan tentang pengaruh masalah obesitas yang terjadi di kalangan anak-anak Jerman terhadap iklan Kinder Schokolade, baik itu dari segi bahasa maupun dari segi visualnya. Iklan yang diteliti terdiri atas sembilan iklan cetak Kinder Schokolade dari tahun 2010-2013 dengan tiga versi iklan yang berbeda, yang dianalisis dari aspek semantik dan semiotik.
Di dalam penelitian ini dipaparkan perubahan komponen-komponen dalam iklan-iklan Kinder Schokolade sejak muncul permasalahan obesitas pada anak-anak. Pilihan kata dan gambar berperan penting dalam setiap iklannya karena dapat membentuk citra produk yang positif sebagai produk makanan yang berhubungan erat dengan anak-anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklan-iklan Kinder Schokolade terpengaruh permasalahan obesitas.

This study describe about the effect of the children?s obesity problem against Kinder Schokolade advertising in terms of languange and visual. This advertisement consist of nine Kinder Schokolade print advertisement from 2010-2013 with three different versions and it will be analyzed from the semantic and semiotic aspects.
In this study will be presented about the change in the components of Kinder Schokolade advertisement since the children?s obesity problem appear. The choice of words and images play the important role in each advertisement because it can make a positive image as food product that have closely relationship with the children. The results showed that Kinder Schokolade advertising affected by the obesity problem.

"How does a literary text get to have literary form, and what is the relation between literary form and linguistic form? This theoretical study of linguistic structure in literature focuses on verse and narrative from a linguistic perspective. Nigel Fabb provides a simple and realistic linguistic explanation of poetic form in English from 1500–1900, drawing on the English and American verse and oral narrative tradition, as well as contemporary criticism. In recent years literary theory has paid relatively little attention to form; this book argues that form is interesting. Fabb offers a new linguistic approach to how metre and rhythm work in poetry, based on pragmatic theory and provides a pragmatic explanation of formal ambiguity and indeterminacy and their aesthetic effects. He also uses linguistics to examine the experience of poetry. Language and Literary Structure will be welcomed by students and researchers in linguistics, literary theory and stylistics."

"ABSTRAK
Kehidupan masyarakat Jepang tidak terlepas dari kehadiran media sosial. Melalui Twitter, sebuah media sosial dengan angka pengguna tinggi di Jepang, pengguna saling berinteraksi. Di sisi lain, Jepang memiliki uchi/soto yang menjadi landasan dalam menentukan posisi diri sendiri terhadap lawan bicara. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dilakukan terhadap 19 kicauan berbahasa Jepang dari 10 pengguna mengenai kontroversi Logan Paul di Jepang. Ditemukan bahwa pengguna Twitter yang diteliti menentukan uchi/soto mereka terhadap pengguna lain melalui hubungan follow yang tercipta melalui Twitter serta melalui persamaan identitas Jepang yang tercipta di luar Twitter. Temuan tersebut sejalan dengan teori uchi/soto yand dikemukakan oleh Takahashi 2010, Bachnik 1994, dan Lebra 1976, serta teori mengenai komunikasi termediasi yang disampaikan oleh Miller, et al. 2016.

ABSTRACT
Social media has become a part of Japaneses lifestyle. Through Twitter, a social media with a high number of users in Japan, users interact with each other. Meanwhile, Japanese has uchi soto as a way to determine their position to others. Using case study method, this research analyzes 19 tweets in Japanese from 10 users on the subject of Logan Pauls controversy in Japan. It is found that Twitter users in this research determine their uchi soto relation to another user through their following on Twitter and through the shared identity of being a part of Japan constructed outside of Twitter. Those findings correspond to uchi soto theories from Takahashi 2010, Bachnik 1994, and Lebra 1976, and also to mediated communication theory from Miller, et al. 2016."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan jenis kalimat dan menjelaskan pola kalimat, kategori, dan peran yang digunakan dalam kalimat SMS acara Uyonuyon RKM. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siaran Uyon-uyon RKM selama bulan Maret 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptifanalitis. Terdapat beberapa konsep dasar sintaksis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Meskipun pada beberapa kalimat SMS tersebut terdapat penyingkatan dengan melesapkan salah satu atau beberapa konstituen. Akan tetapi, terdapat pula kalimat beberapa kalimat yang menggunakan kalimat majemuk untuk menyampaikan pesan.

This reaserch aims to describe and explain the types of sentences and sentence patterns, categories, and roles that are used in the sentences of SMS Uyon-Uyon RKM. The data used in this reaserch, which is recording Uyon-uyon RKM during March 2013. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method. There are some basic concepts of syntax used in this research. Although in a few sentences the SMS are shortening by eliminating one or more constitue nts. However, there are some sentences that use complex sentences to convey the message."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang Pranata Mangsa dan zodiak dalam kajian budaya. Penelitian ini mengenai makna ungkapan pada Pranata Mangsa serta makna penanggalan pada zodiak. Penjelasan mengenai Pranata Mangsa terdapat pada naskah Primbon NR 366, terutama pada halaman 87 dan 88 yang membahas mengenai kondisi alam, aktifitas pertanian, dan watak bayi yang baru lahir tiap mangsa dengan cara mendeskripsikannya. Penelitian ini juga membahas mengenai kaitan antara Pranata Mangsa dengan zodiak dalam beberapa aspek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan hasil analisis dari makna ungkapan pada Pranata Mangsa serta makna penanggalan pada zodiak dengan watak manusia.

This thesis discusses about Pranata Mangsa and zodiac in culturan studies. This research is about the meaning of the phrase on Pranata Mangsa also the meaning of the date on zodiac. Pranata Mangsa explained on Primbon NR 366, especially on page 87 and 88 which describing about the nature, farming activities, and the character of a new born baby on every mangsa by describing them. This research is also explaining about its connection to the zodiac at some points. The purpose of this research is to show the result of the analysis about the meaning of the phrase on Pranata Mangsa and also the meaning of the date on zodiac with human character."
