"Pelaksanaan pekerjaan dalam industri konstruksi dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya yaitu biaya, waktu dan kualitas. Keefektifan dan efisiensi dalam pelaksanaan merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi kontraktor dalam melaksanakan suatu proyek konstruksi. Seberapa baikpun perencanaan yang telah dilakukan, pada tahap pelaksanaan selalu terjadi perubahan yang mengakibatkan keterlambatan dalam penyelesaian. Untuk menghindari atau mengurangi kemungkinan kesalahan dan rework dalam proses konstruksi maka keterlibatan kontraktor pada semua tahapan konstruksi sangat diperlukan. Keterlibatan personel konstruksi pada tahap perencanaan dan perancangan dapat memberi masukan dan pengalaman untuk dapat diimplimentasikan pada tahap pelaksanaan konstruksi. Dengan keterlibatan personel konstruksi pada semua tahapan konstruksi, kontraktor diharapkan dapat mengendalikan pelaksanaan proyek yang berhubungan dengan biaya, waktu dan kualitas tersebut.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan peran kontraktor dalam meningkatkan constructability terutama pada tahap pelaksanaan konstruksi serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja proyek.
Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus, dimana dilakukan peninjauan langsung terhadap suatu proyek dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang mempengaruhi peningkatan constructability pada proyek konstruksi tersebut. Konsep constructability merupakan konsep yang memungkinkan keterlibatan personel konstruksi dalam semua tahapan konstruksi. Penerapan konsep ini memungkinkan peningkatan produktivitas dan kinerja proyek secara keseluruhan.

Construction process influenced by various factor, among others that are cost, quality and time. Effectiveness and efficiency in construction process are problems often faced by contractor. No matter how good the planning was, changes that resulted in delay in finishing always occur in the process phase. To avoid or lessen the possibilities of mistake and rework in the course of construction process, hence involvement of contractor are needed in every construction step. Involvement of construction personnel at planning and design phase can give experience and input to be further implemented in the process phase of the construction. With the involvement of construction personnel at all construction steps, contractor is expected to control the project execution which is related to cost, quality and time.
This research aims to identify the factors related to the role of contractor in improving constructability especially in process phase of construction and also its influence to project performance.
In this research, the method used is the case study method, where a project is directly evaluated by collecting information and data which influence the improvement of constructability in the construction project. The constructability concept is a concept that enables the involvement of construction personnel in every construction step. Application of this concept can increase the performance and productivity of a project as a whole.

"As a developing country, Indonesia is trying hard to progress towards becoming a developed nation. In the past few years, Indonesia has achieved impressive growth. In order to maintain it, Indonesia is spending a large amount of money for its physical development, for instance, the development of infrastructure projects. Consequently, project control is then needed to carry out the projects successfully. Therefore, project control plays an important role in the development of our country. Control is basically a process of trying to achieve conformity between goals and actions. It involves comparison of the performance to the plan. If significant differences take place, corrective actions should be taken. Project control is focused on three areas: time, cost, quality. Time control can be carried out by scheduling the project. Two methods used for scheduling are bar charting and networking technique. In bar charting, a project is divided into its major operations and the time to complete each operation is estimated. The operations are represented by bars arranged in the order of their early start time. Networking techniques are used on complex projects. An example of such a technique is Critical Path Method (CPM)."

"[ABSTRAK
Kinerja proyek dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya adalah kebijakan
perusahaan, kompetensi manajemen proyek dan tingkat maturity manajemen proyek.
Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh faktor kebijakan perusahaan, kompetensi
manajemen proyek, dan tingkat maturity manajemen proyek terhadap kinerja
proyek, maka dilakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode
survey kuesioner, dan selanjutnya data diolah dengan menggunakan Partial Least
Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kebijakan perusahaan,
kompetensi manajemen proyek, dan tingkat maturity manajemen proyek terhadap
kinerja proyek adalah sebesar 10,95%, sedangkan sisanya 89,05 % dipengaruhi oleh
variabel lain di luar model yang diteliti.

"Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan konstruksi Indonesia yang telah menggunakan PMBOK sebagai acuan dalam penerapan manajemen proyek namun penerapan saat ini hanya sebagian dan masih belum optimal bahkan mulai ditinggalkan. Banyaknya proyek rugi, schedule pelaksanaan terlambat , mutu yang tidak baik dan sering terjadinya kecelakaan kerja sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan manajemen proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran manajemen proyek berbasis construction extension of PMBOK Guide 2016 terhadap kinerja proyek menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan terdapat 163 indikator dari 13 variabel yang terdapat pada construction extension of PMBOK Guide 2016 yang mempengaruhi kinerja biaya, mutu, waktu dan safety. Indikator yang mempengaruhi kemudian dianalisa menggunakan Importance Performance Map Analysis dengan hasil nilai performa variabel sebagai berikut: - Inisiasi Proyek 6.73 , Manajemen Biaya 8.57 , Manajemen Jadwal 8.44 , Manajemen K3L 8.11 , Manajemen Keuangan 5.96 , Manajemen Komunikasi 6.70 , Manajemen Lingkup 7.69 , Manajemen Mutu 7.99 , Manajemen Pengadaan 6.77 , Manajemen Proyek Terpadu 6.42 , Manajemen Resiko 6.50 , Manajemen,Stakeholder 6.56 , Manajemen Sumber Daya 6.58 . Nilai performa variabel dan indikator tersebut dijadikan indek kinerja proyek yang digunakan untuk mengukur penerapan manajemen proyek. Dan digunakan untuk menentukan strategi manajerial yang efektif agar meningkatkan kinerja proyek, dan meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya manajemen dengan pelaksanaan manajemen proyek berbasis Construction Extension of PMBOK Guide.

The study was conducted on one of the Indonesian construction companies that have used PMBOK as a reference in the implementation of project management but the current application is only partial and still not optimal even began to be abandoned. The number of loss projects, schedule implementation late, poor quality and frequent occurrence of accidents so that the need to evaluate the implementation of project management. This research was conducted to find out the role of project management based on construction extension of PMBOK Guide 2016 on project performance using Structural Equation Modeling. The results of this study indicate there are 163 indicators of 13 variables contained in the construction extension of PMBOK Guide 2016 that affect the performance cost, quality, time and safety. The influencing indicators are then analyzed using Importance Performance Map Analysis with the result of the variable performance values as follows Project Initiation 6.73 , Cost Management 8.57 , Schedule Management 8.44 , Management K3L 8.11 , Financial Management 5.96 , Communication Management 6.70 , Management Scope 7.69 , Quality Management 7.99 , Procurement Management 6.77 , Integrated Project Management 6.42 , Risk Management 6.50 , Management Stakeholder 6.56 , Resource Management 6.58 . The performance values of these variables and indicators are used as the project performance index used to measure the implementation of project management. And used to determine effective managerial strategies to improve project performance, and improve the efficient use of management resources with the implementation of project management based on Construction Extension of PMBOK Guide. "

"Kesuksesan suatu proyek konstruksi, salah satunya diperoleh dari pengendalian biaya pekerjaan temporary. Pengendalian ini dapat berpengaruh pada kinerja biaya akhir proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pengaruh biaya pekerjaan temporary terhadap kinerja biaya akhir proyek. Pekerjaan temporary dapat digolongkan menjadi tiga yaitu : Common Temporary work, Direct Temporary work dan Site Expenses.
Penelitian dikhususkan pada bangunan pabrik yang dikerjakan oleh PT.X. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptive exploration, yaitu hasil survey berupa kuesioner dan wawancara dari pakar dan responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel variabel dalam pekerjaan temporary yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja biaya akhir proyek.

The success of a construction project, one of which is obtained from temporary work cost control. This control can affect the performance of the final cost of the project. This study aims to determine how much influence the cost of temporary works on the performance of the final cost of the project. Temporary works can be classified into three namely: Common Temporary Work, Direct Temporary Work and Site Expenses.
Specialized research on a factory building which was done by PT.X. Data processing is done by using descriptive exploration method, namely a questionnaire survey and interviews of experts and respondents. The results of this study was to determine the temporary variables in the work of the most influential on the performance of the final cost of the project.

"Banyaknya hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan buruknya kinerja biaya proyek konstruksi, salah satu penyebabnya adalah kompetensi manajer proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan kompetensi-kompetensi apa yang perlu dioptimalkan untuk tiap-tiap jenis proyek dengan lokasi yang berbeda. Dilakukan survey menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara, kemudian data ditabulasi serta divalidasi pakar. Hasil kesimpulan para pakar menggunakan perbandingan berpasangan dalam ANP menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi performance harus diprioritaskan diantara 3 grup kompetensi dan jenis proyek dengan kode Sg paling sensitif terhadap kinerja biaya. Sedangkan lokasi proyek yang paling sensitif terhadap kinerja biaya adalah Papua.

The number of previous research that says the poor performance of the project cost of construction, one reason is the project manager's competence. This study aims to model what competencies need to be optimized for each type of project to a different location. Survey conducted using questionnaires and interviews, then data is tabulated and validated the expert. The conclusion of the experts using the ANP pairwise comparisons showed that performance competencies should be prioritized among three groups of competence and the type of project with code Sg most sensitive to cost performance. While the location of the project is most sensitive to the cost performance is Papua."

"Peningkatan tren teknologi saat ini meningkatkan adanya kebutuhan akan upaya-upaya untuk meminimalisir kegagalan proyek teknologi informasi (TI). Proyek TI kini termasuk dalam salah satu proyek dengan risiko yang tinggi sebagai akibat dari semakin meningkatnya kompleksitas serta kebutuhan bisnis. Maka dari itu, untuk memitigasi risiko yang ada, organisasi atau perusahaan membutuhkan tim yang memadai untuk menghadapi serangkaian risiko tersebut agar terhindar dari proyek yang bermasalah maupun gagal. Penelitian ini diinisiasi untuk dapat memberikan solusi bagi masalah tersebut dengan mengetahui komposisi nilai budaya tim yang paling mungkin memitigasi risiko teknis pada proyek TI, dengan mengukur pada tingkatan individual. Berdasarkan teori dari para ahli dan praktisi nilai budaya dan TI, diyakini bahwa tim yang memiliki proporsi pada komposisi nilai budaya tertentu akan mampu meningkatkan kinerja tim proyek TI melalui proses mitigasi risiko proyek sebagai mediator dan risiko persyaratan dan kompleksitas dari risiko teknis menjadi moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi lapangan dengan survei 212 pekerja dari berbagai negara dan perusahaan TI. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan tiga hasil utama, yaitu; proses mitigasi risiko proyek TI mampu memengaruhi kinerja proyek tim TI (1), risiko persyaratan dan kompleksitas memoderasi hubungan proses mitigasi risiko proyek TI dan kinerja tim proyek TI (2) dan proses mitigasi risiko proyek TI memediasi pengaruh komposisi nilai budaya tim terhadap kinerja tim proyek TI dalam kondisi yang berbeda-beda (3).

The increasing trend of technology nowadays increases the necessity of efforts to minimize the discouraged failure of IT project. IT projects are now included in one of the higher risk projects as a result of the increasing business complexity and requirements. Therefore, to mitigate existing risks, an organization or company needs an adequate team to deal with those risks. This research was initiated to provide a solution to this problem by determine the composition of team culture values that are most likely to mitigate technical risks in IT projects, by measuring it at an individual level. Build upon the theory discovered by IT experts and practitioners, it is believed that a team that has a proportion in the composition of certain cultural values will be able to increase team project performance by risk mitigation process as mediator, and technical risk such as requirements and complexity risk as moderator. This research involved 212 respondents by field study conducted on various countries and IT companies. The research revealed three main results: project risk mitigation process influenced IT project team performance (1), requirements and complexity risks moderate the relationship between of risk mitigation process and IT project team performance (2) and project risk mitigation process mediated the influence of team cultural value composition and IT project team performance."

"The Impact of Contractor's Role in Improving the Constructability of the Design-Construct ProjectIn 1982 The Business Roundtable's Construction Industry Cost Effectiveness (LICE) identify one important aspect is that construction too often is relegated to operate as production function separated from financial planning, scheduling, and engineering or architectural design. The involvement of construction experts is delayed until the design is so far along that changes would be so disruptive as to increase cost. The traditional construction contracting method made this division even further. The construction contractor would only be engaged in the project after the designer completed their design.
By separate design and construction, opportunities to reduce project costs and schedules by using existing and new construction technology are lost. Significant savings in both the costs and time required to complete the project can be accrued from integration of construction expertise into all phases of project. The Construction Industry Institute's (CII) Task Force defines this term as Constructability, which is the optimum integration of construction knowledge and experience in planning, engineering, procurement, and field operations to achieve overall project objectives.
This thesis study the role of contractor's in improving the constructability of the design-construct project which leads to an improving project cost performance of construction project in Indonesia. A questionnaire survey was distributed to projects contractor's in Jakarta area. The data obtained was analyzed quantitatively to find the correlation and to make a regression between the role contractor's in improving the constructability of the design-construct project and the performance of construction project's cost.
The result of this research show a positive, linear correlation between the interface of contractor's in improving the constructability of the design-construct and cost performance of the project. The main variables are: pro-actively involved in developing project plans and plan the sequence of field task to improve productivity.
