"Penggunaan overhang merupakan salah sate Cara untuk mengatur sinar matahari yang masuk ke dalam bangunan pada pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami. Tujuannya adalah memasukkan sinar matahari pada saat memungkinkan dan mencegahnya scat keadaan papas. Tulisan ini mencoba menganalisis pengaruh bentuk overhang sebagai penaung bukaan terhadap masuknya sinar matahari ke dalam bangunan dari bukaan yang bersangkutan. Penulis mencoba menganalisi bentuk--bentukoverhang yang telah digunakan beserta penambahan elemennya dan jalan masuk sinar matahari dari bukaan yang dinaungi berdasarkan studi literatur dan pengamatan. Penulis berharap dari analisis ini dapat diambil suatu kesimpulan tentang perencanaan bentuk overhang yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan pengaruh bentuk atau tipe yang dipakai terhadap banyaknya sinar matahari yang masuk ke dalam bangunan berdasarkan perubahan dimensi panjang overhang dan penambahan elemen horizontalnya di depan bukaan."

"The Fire damage occurs in unpredictable time and can cause losses to the owner because of the damage. It can occur in buildings that do not have Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System in the building. By detecting and preventing against fire damage, which arise in unpredictable times will prevent loss of lives and assets of the buildings.
There has been considerable research into the fire damage such as at the Polo Condominium in Colorado. The Polo Condominium that was built in 1967 caught fire on October 31' because it did not have the Fire Protection System in each floor. When the fire came and burned the building interior, the building could not extinguish the fire because it did not have fire detector and sprinklers in place.
To solve the problem, in Jakarta there are a lot of guidelines such as the Minister Of Public Works Decree # 02IKPTSI1985 for Fire Safety in building. But from many fire damages, the guidelines could not accommodate the problem because the buildings did not incorporate Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System. Relevant research indicated that Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System are very important to detect and prevent against fire damage. In this research, the Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System are defined as Fire Safety Design which have been taken from many relevant theories and journals.
From 50 questionnaires sent to various high rise office buildings in Jakarta, 30 responses were received to be viable for in depth analysis. The result of the analysis shows clearly that the Fire Safety Design is positively correlated in a linear manner to four of the key Fire Safety Design variables. The four key variables influencing building reliability in design carried out by the consultant and controlled by the construction manager in the projects are : detection and fire alarm, building architecture, the designer's fire certificate and special equipment to stop fire_ This research can then be used to control and measure the quality of Future Fire Safety Design of the high rise building reliability in Jakarta."

Fotografi merupakan salah satu cara yang efektif dalam mengkomunikasikan arsitektur. Dengan fotograti suatu karya arsiteklur dapat diinformasikan apa adanya sesuai dengan realitas sesungguhnya. Dengan kata lain, fotograti memiliki kemampuan untuk merekam suasana pada suatu momen tertentu secara natural.
Dibalik keberhasilan suatu karya fotograli arsitektur adalah peran dari fotografernya. Untuk menjadi seorang fotografer arslteklur yang balk, bisa memotret saja belum cukup. la juga harus mengerti apa dan bagaimana seluk beluk pekerjaannya. Informasi apa yang panting dan harus ditangkap dalam fotonya.
Ekspresi bentuk bangunan merupakan bagian penting yang dapat diinformasikan melalui media fotografi. Tetapi terdapat kekhawatian apakah ekspresi tersebut dapat keluar sesuai dengan keinginan sang arsitek sebenamya Hal ini tergantung dari seorang fotografer dalam mengambil keputusan. Dan salah satu keputusan seorang fotografer sebelum memotret adalah mengambil sudut perspektif yang tepat. Pengambilan sudut perspektif ini akan menentukan bagaimana ekspresi bentuk bangunan yang dihasilkan."

"Photovoltaic sebuah teknologi yang dapat mengubah sinar matahari menjadi energi listrik dapat menjadi jawaban atas berkurangnya energi fosil sebagai bahan utama penghasil listrik konvensional. Photovoltaic sebagai energi terbarukan memiliki kelebihan tidak menimbulkan emisi karbon yang dapat menjadi penyebab pemanasan global. Penggunaan photovoltaic khususnya di Indonesia sebagian besar masih berupa panel yang disusun oleh sel-sel solar dengan daya tertentu. Panel photovoltaic tersebut hanya menjadi sebuah alat penghasil listrik terhadap bangunan.
Photovoltaic dapat dikembangkan menjadi bagian arsitektural dari suatu bangunan. Salah satu alternatif ialah menggabungkannya dengan glass facade yang disebut dengan Photovoltaic Glazing (PV Glazing). Unsur penyusun yang sama antara sel solar dan kaca yaitu silika merupakan salah satu faktor utama dapat bergabungnya kedua material ini. Material kaca yang memiliki konduktivitas yang cukup besar menjadi suatu masalah bagi iklim di Indonesia.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keoptimalan pemasangan PV terhadap glass facade dalam menghasilkan daya listrik dan kontribusinya dalam mereduksi sinar yang masuk ke dalam bangunan. Bangunan yang dijadikan studi kasus adalah Fakultas Ilmu Keprawatan Universitas Indonesia (FIK UI) dengan façade kaca orientasi selatan dan Manufacture Research Centre Universitas Indonesia (MRC UI) façade kaca orientasi barat. Penentuan studi kasus mewakili orientasi arah glass façade dan terhindar dari bayangan bangunan sekitar. Penelitian memakai simulasi software PVsyst untuk mengetahui daya dan perangkat yang dibutuhkan dari masing masing sampel yang selanjutnya dianalisa menggunakan parameter Performance Ratio, Solar Fraction, Missing Energy dan Energi yang Tersedia. Untuk melihat tingkat reduksi PV Glazing pada penelitian memakai simulasi Ecotec dan perhitungan Heat Transfer.
Biaya pemasangan PV Glazing yang sangat tinggi membuat teknologi PV ini dikategorikan teknologi yang mahal. Dengan melihat kepada kebutuhan listrik kedua studi kasus pada penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan PV Glazing FIK UI dapat menghemat Rp 63,076,350 per tahunnya dan MRC UI Rp 23,859,937.29 per tahunnya dibandingkan dengan listrik konvensional PLN.

Photovoltaic a technology that could converts sunlight into electrical energy can be the answer of a diminished fossil energy as the principal ingredient electricitygenerating conventional. Photovoltaic as renewable energy has an excess of it does not cause of emission carbon that can be the cause of global warming. The use of photovoltaic especially in indonesia most are still in the form of a panel that was compiled by solar cells with specific resources. Photovoltaic panel was only become an instrument electricity-generating toward the building.
Photovoltaic can be developed to become architectural part of an building. One alternative is combining to glass facade which is called by photovoltaic glazing (pv glazing). A constituent of the same element between solar cell and glass that is silica is one of the main factors integration both of this material. Glass that has sizeable conductivity can be a problem for the climate in Indonesia. The research is done for to know optimal mounting PV against glass facade in producing electrical power and contribution in reducing array entering the building.
A building used as case study are Faculty of Nursing University of Indonesia with south façade glazing orientation and Manufacturing Research Centre, University of Indonesia with west façade glazing orientation.. The determination of the case studies represents the orientation direction glass facade and spared from the shadow of local buildings. Research using software PVsyst ssimulation to know the required devices and power of each sample, then analyzed using the Performance parameters, Solar Fraction, Missing Energy and available energy. To see the level of reduction of PV Glazing on research, using software Ecotec simulation and calculation of heat transfer.
Mounting cost of PV glazing very high makes this categorized technology is very expensive. By looking to the need for electricity both of case study in this research, by using PV glazing, FIK UI can save Rp 63,076,350 per year and MRC UI Rp 23,859,937.29 per year compared with electricity conventional PLN.

"Keberhasilan penyelenggaraan proyek konstruksi ditentukan oleh kemampuan para pelaku utamanya (tim proyek pemilik, kontraktor dan konsultan. dan tersedianya perangkat yang lengkap dan berkualitas. Pada zaman dahulu kontraktor mengerjakan hampir sebagian besar pekerjaan konstruksi. Pada saat ini pada tahap konstruksi kira. kira 80. pekerjaan diserahkan ke subkontraktor. Akibatnya subkontraktor memainkan peranan penting dalam industri konstruksi dimana proyek bangunan gedung bertingkat tinggi kira-kira 80-90. pekerjaan dikerjakan oleh subkontraktor. Sehingga pengelolaan subkontraktor oleh kontraktor utama sangat diperlukan. Berdasarkan pada hal ini, maka dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengelolaan subkontraktor dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang berisi. hal yaitu. pemilihan subkontraktor, perjanjian dengan subkontraktor, persiapan pekerjaan subkontraktor dan penyelesaian pekerjaan subkontraktor. Data yang didapat dari hasil penyebaran ini kemudian diolah secara statistik dengan program SPSS 9.01 untuk mendapatkan variabel. variabel yang menentukan. Dari hasil pengolahan SPSS9.01 didapat variabel penentu adalah pengawasan pekerjaan. X34. dan penempatan pengawas yang sesuai dengan kemampuannya. X33 ). In modern days, contractor gives about 80% from all the construction work to subcontractor. The consequence from this trend is make subcontractor play an important part in construction industry, which subcontractor handle about 80% from all of high rise building project work. From all of this, it's very important for contractor to manage its subcontractor. With this review, the writers do research about managing subcontractor with spreading the questioner. There are five important things in the questioner. All of them are about choosing subcontractor, the dealing with subcontractor, the preparing, finishing step and the payment. "Influence of Inspection & Maintenance System Implementation to the Building Asset Protection in Preventing Fire Damage on High Rise Office Building in Jakarta High rise office buildings are an asset which have high economics value, because investation in building construction is high enough. Because of that it would be natural if maintenance and protection of building toward one of disturbances is fire damage must have big awareness.
Observation of fire occurement shows that utility which is perfectly unfunetional when fire happens. Protection system realibility is installed Iike detector and fire alarm, automatic sprinkler, hydrant and also portable extinguisher or known as active fire protection is really influenced by quality of system design. One of activities which contribute in building protection in a part of Fire Safety Management is Inspection & Maintenance of all fire protections. Inspection & Maintenance activity is important part to ensure protection system and equipment reliability when fire occurs.
This research toward inspection & maintenance of protection system as a part of Fire Safety Management could be one of parameters in protecting building asset caused by fire at operational stage of high rise office building in Jakarta.
From 50 questionnaires sent to various high rise office building in Jakarta, 22 responses were received to be viable for in depth analysis. The result of the analysis shows clearly that the inspection & maintenance system implementation as a part of Fire Safety Management is positively correlated in a linear manner to two of the key Inspection & Maintenance System variables.
The two key variables influencing building asset protection from fire damage on operational phase in life cycle construction are performance of detection and fire alarm system after inspection & maintenance and inspection & maintenance schedule. This research can then be used to grow up awareness that importance of inspection & maintenance implementation to protect building asset on high rise building in Jakarta."

"The tire damage occurs in unpredictable time can caused property losses and life losses. Research from several countries show that tire damage can caused big loss. Statistical studies has done by public protection in every city and town in the United State and Canada. The tire department is one of the most important factors caused increasing the loss of tire damage. The criteria for measuring its eifectiveness rigidly schedule and cover the organization, membership, apparatus and equipment. In Indonesia, especially in Jakarta the level of tire damage at high rise building has an increasing tendency since 1981. From various of tire damage show that still low appreciation to Fire Safety Design and also Fire Safety Management. The Public Fire Department as public facility 63111101 be totally expected to overcome the tire damage. Facts that effort has only handle tire suppression mean while the tire prevention has rarely done. At operational stage , a team who can give responses quickly is known as Emergency Response Team that need to be established to anticipate emergency condition, so tire suppression could run elfectively and efficiently. Building has to be able to handle initial fire damage by protection system and Emergency Response Team skill. From 50 questionnaires sent to various high rise office buildings in Jakarta, 25 responses were received to be viable for in depth analysis using SPSS 10.1 version The result of the analysis shows clearly that Emergency Response Team is positively correlated in a linear manner to two of the Emergency Response Team variables. The two key variables influencing building the protection of building property in preventing fire damage carried out by building management and owner in high rise buildings are : The initial extinguishing of fire contributed 74,5 % in model, Inspection and Maintenance protection system contributed 13,3 % in model. This research can then be used to control and measure the quality of the protection of building property by Fire Safety Management theory on high rise oflice building in Jakarta."
