This thesis discusses about the adaptations of the character names from novel Garri Potter i Filosofskij Kamen rsquo into Russian language. This research uses the analitical descriptive method. The theory used in this research are theory of loanwords in general by Haugen 1950, the theory of loan translations by Haugen 1950, Kridalaksana 2008, and Arnold 2012 the theory of orthography by Soeparno 2003 and Orthographu Rules of Modern Russian Language 1956 the theory of Russian phonetics by Pulkina 1960, Kortland 1973, vedova and Lopatin 1989, and Kodzasov 2001 the theory of English phonetics by Ogden 2009, the theory of Russian nouns by Savko 2004 and Kuznecova 2009.
This research shows that there are three techniques to adapt the character names. The techniques are phonetics adaptations, non phonetics adaptations, and loan translations translating the original meaning of names in order to maintain the similar effect for the readers. This thesis also shows that the character names that are applied in Russian Language set the same rules in Russian orthography.

ABSTRACT
Traditional critics of film adaptation generally assumed a) that the written text is better than the film adaptation because the plot is more intricate and the language richer when pictorial images do not intrude; b) that films are better when particularly faithful to the original; c) that authors do not make good script writers and should not sully their imagination by writing film scripts; d) and often that American films lack the complexity of authored texts because they are sourced out of Hollywood. The 'faithfulness' view has by and large disappeared, and intertextuality is now a generally received notion, but the field still lacks studies with a postmodern methodology and lens.Exploring Hollywood feature films as well as small studio productions, Adaptation Theory and Criticism explores the intertextuality of a dozen films through a series of case studies introduced through discussions of postmodern methodology and practice. Providing the reader with informative background on theories of film adaptation as well as carefully articulated postmodern methodology and issues, Gordon Slethaug includes several case studies of major Hollywood productions and small studio films, some of which have been discussed before ("Age of Innocence, Gangs of New York," and "Do the Right Thing") and some that have received lesser consideration ("Six Degrees of Separation, Smoke, Smoke" "Signals, Broken Flowers," and various Snow White narratives including "Enchanted, Mirror Mirror, and Snow White and the Huntsman"). Useful for both film and literary studies students, Adaptation Theory and Criticism cogently combines the existing scholarship and uses previous theories to engage readers to think about the current state of American literature and film. "This book presents a comprehensive overview of the recently developed L1 adaptive control theory, including detailed proofs of the main results. The key feature of the L1 adaptive control theory is the decoupling of adaptation from robustness. The architectures of L1 adaptive control theory have guaranteed transient performance and robustness in the presence of fast adaptation, without enforcing persistent excitation, applying gain-scheduling, or resorting to high-gain feedback."

The application of nursing care to patients with urinary system disorders using Roy`s Adaptation theory has the aim of increasing the patient's ability to adapt to changes in bodily disorders caused by focal stimuli, residual stimuli, and contextual stimuli. Nursing diagnoses that often appear in patients with urinary system disorders are excess fluid volume associated with kidney dysfunction. Nursing implementation carried out to overcome nursing diagnoses is fluid management, fluid monitoring, and renal replacement therapy based on nursing interventions which include regulator activities and cognator activities. Evidence-based nursing practice with music therapy in 11 hemodialysis patients proved to be unable to reduce intradialysis hypertension. Meanwhile, the implementation of innovation projects with the provision of early ambulation education after kidney transplantation through media back sheets can improve patient knowledge.

"This open access book provides a concise explanation of the fundamentals and background of the surround sound recording and playback technology Ambisonics. It equips readers with the psychoacoustical, signal processing, acoustical, and mathematical knowledge needed to understand the inner workings of modern processing utilities, special equipment for recording, manipulation, and reproduction in the higher-order Ambisonic format. The book comes with various practical examples based on free software tools and open scientific data for reproducible research.
The books introductory section offers a perspective on Ambisonics spanning from the origins of coincident recordings in the 1930s to the Ambisonic concepts of the 1970s, as well as classical ways of applying Ambisonics in first-order coincident sound scene recording and reproduction that have been practiced since the 1980s. As, from time to time, the underlying mathematics become quite involved, but should be comprehensive without sacrificing readability, the book includes an extensive mathematical appendix. The book offers readers a deeper understanding of Ambisonic technologies, and will especially benefit scientists, audio-system and audio-recording engineers.
In the advanced sections of the book, fundamentals and modern techniques as higher-order Ambisonic decoding, 3D audio effects, and higher-order recording are explained. Those techniques are shown to be suitable to supply audience areas ranging from studio-sized to hundreds of listeners, or headphone-based playback, regardless whether it is live, interactive, or studio-produced 3D audio material."
