Representasi laki-laki gay di Jepang dalam media masa pertama kali dimulai pada saat terjadi gay boom pada tahun 1990-an. Dua puluh tahun setelah gay boom, representasi laki-laki gay di Jepang tetap ada dalam media massa Jepang, salah satu contohnya drama Gisou no Fuufu yang salah satu tokoh utamanya merupakan seorang laki-laki gay. Menggunakan konsep wacana Foucault dan konsep universalizing view dan minoritizing view Sedgewick, tulisan ini akan membahas wacana homoseksualitas yang merupakan minoritas yang disandingkan dengan wacana heteroseksualitas yang merupakan mayoritas dalam drama tersebut. Wacana homoseksualitas dalam drama tersebut dianggap ldquo;kalah rdquo; jika disandingkan dengan wacana heteroseksualitas

ABSTRACT
Representation of Japanese gay men in the media began when gay boom occurred in the 1990s. Twenty years after the gay boom, the representation of gay men in Japan still persists in Japanese mass media. Japanese television drama Gisou no Fuufu is one of the example because one of the main characters from that drama is a gay man. Using Foucault 39 s concept of discourse and Sedgewick rsquo s universalizing view and minoritizing view, this paper will discuss the discourse of homosexuality coupled with the discourse of heterosexuality in the drama. The discourse of homosexuality in the drama somehow cannot ldquo win rdquo againts the discourse of heterosexuality."

"Metafora diutarakan penutur untuk menyampaikan suatu gagasan melalui perbandingan ranah konseptual dengan ranah yang berbeda. Penggunaannya sudah tidak asing lagi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini membahas klasifikasi metafora bahasa Jepang berdasarkan kategori makna asosiatif yang diusungkan Geoffrey Leech. Metafora asosiatif yang diamati sebagai data penelitian berasal dari lirik lagu karya Yoasobi dalam kurun waktu 2019-2021. Data berupa lirik lagu yang mengandung metafora dibedah menggunakan teori analisis metafora oleh Knowles dan Moon. Hasil analisis metafora akan mengidentifikasikan makna asosiatif macam apa yang dikandung dalam metafora tersebut. Melalui klasifikasi data, penulis berupaya untuk memperlihatkan komponen makna dan karakteristik masing-masing metafora asosiatif.

Metaphors used by a speaker as a way to convey an idea through the comparison of conceptual vehicle alongside with its different vehicle. Its usage frequency is no longer a foreign term both in everyday lives and literature works. This study discusses the classification of Japanese metaphors based on its associative meaning categories implemented by Geoffrey Leech. Associative metaphors used as this study’s data are compiled from song lyrics of Yoasobi which were released between 2019 and 2021. Metaphors found in song lyrics are being dissected using the theory of proper way of analysing metaphors by Knowles and Moon. The result of analysed metaphors will identify which associative meaning they bear. By acknowledging the data’s classifications, the author tries to show the component of the meaning and characteristics of each associative metaphors."

"[ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas mengenai perubahan karakter pada beberapa tokoh dalam kumpulan cerita pendek Kami no Kodomotachi wa Mina Odoru melalui pendekatan psikologi sastra, khususnya menggunakan metode telaah karakterisasi fiksi. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan karakter yang dialami oleh beberapa tokoh dalam setiap cerita dan menjabarkan berbagai pemicu yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut. Upaya mengamati perubahan karakter dapat ditunjukkan melalui dialog antar tokoh, sudut pandang pencerita, tuturan pengarang, tingkah laku, dan penampilan tokoh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada beberapa tokoh dari keenam cerita yang mengalami perubahan karakter setelah adanya suatu pemicu, baik yang berupa bencana maupun keadaan yang tak terduga.

The focus of this study is the transformation of character in the short story Kami no Kodomotachi wa Mina Odoru through approach of psychology literature, especially using fictional characterization method. This study aims to analyze the transformation of some characters in each story and describe the various triggers that influence these transformation. To observe the transformation in the character can be shown through dialogue among characters, the viewpoint of the narrator, the author’s speech, behavior, and appearance of characters.
