"Perencanaan kepala ruang merupakan pedoman untuk melaksanakan tindakan terkait dengan pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien. Kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pedoman perencanaan kepala ruang terhadap pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien. Hasil penelitian pada 73 perawat pelaksana RS Haji Jakarta dan 73 perawat pelaksana RS Islam Jakarta Cempaka Putih menunjukkan ada pengaruh perencanaan kepala ruang terhadap pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien oleh perawat pelaksana sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pada kelompok intervensi namun hubungan masih lemah dan berkorelasi positif (p=0.050; α=0.05). Pedoman perencanaan kepala ruang sangat diperlukan oleh kepala ruang. Rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan perencanaan kepala ruang terhadap pelayanan keperawatan dengan menyusun pedoman perencanaan kepala ruang.

Head nurse plan designated as a guidelince for the implementation of programs related to patient safety activities. Quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design aimed to identify the effect of head nurse plan toward the implementation of patient safety program. The result of the research on 73 nurses at Haji Hospital Jakarta and 73 nurses at Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih Jakarta demonstrated the effect of head nurse plan toward the implementation of patient safety program, with positif yet slight correlation (p=0.050; α=0.05). However, head nurse plan is strongly required. Besides, every hospital needs to improve nursing care by improving the head nurse plan itself."

"ABSTRAK
Penilaian kinerja secara individu berdasarkan Indeks Kinerja Individu melalui
pencapaian target kinerja merupakan hal baru bagi perawat pelaksana RSUPN Dr.
Cipto Mangunkusumo dan pencapaian target tersebut dipengaruhi oleh banyak
faktor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor tersebut.
Penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional (n=121 orang)
memperoleh hasil bahwa tingkat pendidikan mempunyai hubungan bermakna dengan
pencapaian target kinerja individu perawat pelaksana (nilai p = 0,001) dan sebagian
besar perawat pelaksana berkinerja istimewa, namun metode penilaian kinerja
dipersepsikan kurang baik oleh sebagian besar perawat. Peneliti menyarankan bahwa
perlu adanya pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja individu perawat pelaksana
dan peningkatan pendidikan bagi perawat pelaksana.

ABSTRACT
Individual performance appraisal based on Individual Performance Index is a new
thing for nurse practitioner at A building Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital and the
achievement of the target is affected by many factors. The aim of the study is
identifying those factors. Descriptive correlative research used cross sectional
(n=121 people) results that educational background had correlation with the
achievement of individual performance target of nurse practitioner (p value = 0,001)
and the achievement was excellent although many nurse practitioners perceived not
very good to performance appraisal method. The researcher suggests that the
instrument of nurse practitioner performance appraisal should be developed and
hospital provide continuing education for nurse practitioners."

"ABSTRAK
Risiko kesalahan perioperatif sangat besar sehingga keselamatan pasien harus diupayakan. Fungsi Pengendalian kepala ruai1gan memastikan kelja sama tim sesuai tujuan perencanaan untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap te1jadinya insiden atau kejadian yang tidak diharapkan.
Penelitian ini be1tujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas fungsi pengendalian kepala ruangan terhadap pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien perioperatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan preeksper;,nen dengan rancangan pretest-pastiest ·without control. Sampel yang digunakan 75 perawat pelaksana yang terlibat keperawatan perioperatif. Data analisis dengan Paired t test menunjukkan efektifitas fungsi pengendalian kepala ruangan P = 0,0001, (CI= 120,79-127,01) meningkatkan pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien perioperatif oleh perawat pelaksana P = 0,000 I, (CI 141,59-147, 15) setelah intervensi dengan tingkat hubunga1T sedang dan berkorelasi positif.
Penelitian ini merekomendasikan monitoring- dan evaluasi pelaksanaan pengendalian kepala ruangan dan pengembangan model pengendalian yang lebih lengkap.

ABSTRACT
The risk of errors in the perioperative period is very large so that patient safety should be supported and the team is obligated to cooperate in raising awareness toward the occurrence of the 1ncident or event that is not expected. Head nurse control function ensure appropriate planning objectives accomplished.
This research aims to know the effectiveness of the control function of the head nurse tO\;vard the implementation of perioperative patient safety. This research design using preexperiment with pretestposHest design without control. The sample size of 75 nurses that involved in perioperative nursing service. Data analysis using paired t test represent the effectiveness of the control function of the head nurse with p value = 0.000 I (CI = 120.79- 127.01) and the improve of implementation ofperioperative patient safety by nurses of post intervention that indicates positive correlation with p value = 0.0001 (CI = 141.59 - 147.15).
This research recommends there should be monitoring and evaluation of implementation of the control head room and a development model that is more complete control.

"Piutang merupakan harta lancar yang terbesar pada organisasi kesehatan dan berdampak dana investasi. Kegagalan pengelolaan piutang di rumah sakit
akan mengganggu cash flow dan kegiatan operasional rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penyebab saldo piutang pasien jaminan pihak keti-
ga yang tinggi, meliputi dinas dan langganan di RS Port Medical Center. Penelitian operasional ini melakukan pengamatan langsung dan telaah dokumen pa-
da proses pengelolaan piutang pada tahap penerimaan, pembebanan biaya, penataan rekening, penagihan dan penutupan rekening. Informan adalah para
pejabat dan pelaksana yang terlibat. Didapatkan bahwa tidak ada standar atau persyaratan kredit yang berlaku sebelum kerja sama. Potongan harga, jang-
ka waktu pembayaran dan sanksi yang tertera dalam perjanjian kerja sama tidak dapat dijalankan. Telah ada upaya penagihan, tetapi belum optimal. Belum
ada prosedur tentang cara penagihan bila pembayaran terlambat. Pada lima tahap pengelolaan piutang terlihat beban tugas penata rekening yang tinggi.
Dan SOP hanya tersedia pada tahap pembebanan biaya. Proses seleksi yang menggunakan sistem billing online mempermudah pekerjaan tetapi menuntut
ketelitian tinggi. Jumlah tagihan dan saldo piutang terbesar adalah dinas. Perusahaan asuransi mempunyai saldo piutang terkecil dan proporsi pembayaran
terkecil adalah Jamsostek. Proses penagihan pada dinas, perusahaan umum dan perusahaan asuransi relatif sama (20 hari). Lama proses penagihan dan
umur piutang terlama adalah Jamsostek.
Account receivables is the biggest current assets in health organization including hospitals and will influence investation fund management. Failure in ac-
count receivables management will confound the cash flow and operational activities. The purpose of this study is to know the causes of high account re-
ceivables of patients insured by third party. This operational research used direct observations and documents review regarding the management process of
the insured patient account receivables at the stage of admission, charge capture, account billing, collecting and account writing off. An in-depth interview was
conducted to the involved persons and officers. The result of the study shows that the current credit policy prevails at PMC hospital seems to be linient since
no credit standard or credit terms given before colaboration. Discount, payment period and sanctions are included in the agreement but not effective. There
are efforts for claiming, but it has not been done optimally. There is no procedure that can be used in collecting account if there were delay. There is a shor-
tage of staff on the account arrangement and overlapped tasks of staff at central opname. The only available standard operating procedure was at the stage
of charge capture. Although the completion process has used on line billing system, to simplify the task, it still needs high accuracy to get accurate data. The
highest claim goes to the state owned company. The highest account receivable also goes to the state owned company. From four health insurance compa-
nies, Jamsostek has the lowest payment percentage. It is also found that the length of the collecting process is 20 days for state owned companies, public
companies and insurance companies and 60 days for Jamsostek. The length of billing process and account receivable days for Jamsostek was the longest."

"Timbang terima pasien membantu perawat mengidentifikasi area pelayanan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan timbang terima pasien terhadap pelaksanaan timbang terima dan penerapan keselamatan pasien oleh perawat pelaksana di rumah sakit Husada Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan desain preeksperimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel 43 orang perawat pelaksana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang bermakna pada pelaksanaan timbang terima dan penerapan keselamatan pasien setelah mendapatkan pelatihan timbang terima pasien (pvalue : 0.000). Kesimpulannya, ada pengaruh pelatihan timbang terima pasien terhadap pelaksanaan timbang terima dan penerapan keselamatan pasien. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah komitmen untuk melaksanakan timbang terima dalam bentuk kebijakan, pengarahan serta evaluasi pelaksanaan timbang terima, untuk kesinambungan asuhan keperawatan yang berdampak pada peningkatan penerapan keselamatan pasien.

The patient handover help nurses to identify the service area that require improvement to improve patient safety. The purpose of this research was to identify the effect of training on patient handover with an effective communication approach integrated to the implementation of patient safety to the implementation of handover and patient safety by nurse practitioner at Husada Hospital Jakarta. This research used preexperimental design, with one group pretest posttest design. The sample is 43 nurse practitioner. From the data analysis, it has been recognized that there is a significant improvement in the implementation of patient handover and patient safety after getting a training and guidance on patient handover (p value : 0.000). The conclusion, there is an effect of training on patient handover to the implementation of handover and patient safety. Hospital should implements patient handover effectively in the form of policies, direction and evaluation to continuity of nursing care that have an impact on improving the implementation of patient safety."

"Peran kepala ruang yang dijalankan dengan baik dapat menghasilkan keselamatan pasien yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan peran kepala ruang terhadap perilaku perawat dalam pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 95 responden dengan tehnik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian karakteristik perawat pelaksana rata-rata median umur 28,00 tahun, masa kerja 3,00 tahun, jenis kelamin mayoritas perempuan 75, 8, dan pendidikan mayoritas Diploma tiga keperawatan 83,2. Gambaran peran kepala ruang yang paling banyak dipersepsikan oleh perawat pelaksana adalah informational, sedangkan gambaran peran kepala ruang dipersepsikan optimal oleh perawat pelaksana. Gambaran perilaku perawat baik dalam melaksanakan keselamatan pasien. Tidak Ada hubungan antara peran kepala ruang terhadap perilaku perawat pelaksana p= 0,086. Saran untuk manajemen rumah sakit mengadakan pembinaan terhadap kepala ruang mengenai kemampuan pelaksanaan peran kepala ruang dan ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan secara formal ke jenjang Ners mengingat saat ini mayoritas perawat masih berpendidikan D3 keperawatan.

The Correlation between Head Nurse Role and Staff Nurses Behavior in Implementing Patient Safety Program The head nurse role that is well run can produce better patient safety. The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between head nurse role and staff nurses behavior in implementing patient safety program. This is cross sectional using method. Ninety five respondents were recruited using convenion sampling technique. The result shows there characteristics of nurses and the average median age of 28.00 years, 3.00 years working period, the majority of female sex 75, 8, and three nursing education Diploma majority of 83.2. Overview of the head nurse role of the most widely perceived by nurses are informational, while overview the of the head nurse role optimal perceived by nurses. Overview good behavior of nurses in implementing patient safety. There is no relationship between the head nurses role of the behavior of nurses p 0.086. Recommendations for the hospital management to hold coaching of head nurses role regarding the implementation of the head nurses role capabilities and enhanced through formal education to the level of nurses since currently the majority educated nurses still three nursing diploma.

"Rumah sakit berupaya menciptakan mutu pelayanan yang terbaik sebagai salah satu faktor penentu citra di masyarakat. Perilaku caring perawat merupakan salah satu indikator mutu pelayanan yang diterima oleh masyarakat.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Ichsan Medical Centre Bintaro dengan desain potong lintang. Populasi adalah pasien rawat inap dengan pengambilan sampel random sampling sebesar 93. Data dianalisis dengan univariat sampai bivariat dengan analisis kai kuadrat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien yang menjalani perawatan di rawat inap Rumah Sakit Ichsan Medical Centre Bintaro adalah kebutuhan caring (nilai p = 0,001) dan perilaku caring perawat (nilai p = 0,006). Terpenuhinya kebutuhan caring dan perbaikan perilaku caring perawat akan menjadikan persepsi pasien menjadi positif selama rawat inap.

The hospital strives to create the best quality of service as a determining factor for the image in society. Nurse caring behavior is one indicator of the quality of service received by the public.
The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence patient perception to nurse caring behaviors in Ichsan Medical Centre Hospital Bintaro with cross sectional design. The population was inpatients with sampling random sampling of 93. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate by chi-square analysis.
The results showed that associated factors with the perception of patients undergoing inpatient treatment at Ichsan Medical Centre Hospital Bintaro is caring needs (p value = 0.001) and the nurse caring behaviors (p value = 0.006). The fulfillment needs of caring and repair will make the nurse caring behaviors the perception become positive patients during hospitalization.

"Fungsi pengarahan kepala ruangan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana. Hasil penelitian cross sectional pada 146 perawat pelaksana yang diambil secara acak membuktikan tujuan penelitian yang ingin melihat adanya hubungan antara fungsi pengarahan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta. Seluruh variabel pengarahan yaitu; motivasi, supervisi, delegasi, manajemen konflik, dan komunikasi terbukti berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana (p=0,000-0,005; α=0,05). Mayoritas perawat pelaksana mempersepsikan pelaksanaan fungsi pengarahan baik, dan kepuasan kerja perawat juga baik. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat adalah fungsi motivasi kepala ruangan, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan untuk menghasilkan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana yang optimal.

Nurse manager directing function will increase nurse job satisfaction. The crosssectional study result from 146 nurses by randomn sampling design proved the aim of the study that intended to find the relationship between nurse manager directing with nurses job satisfaction in Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta. Variables of directing such as motivation, supervision, delegating, conflict management, and communication had relationship with nurses job satisfaction (p=0,000-0,005; α=0,05). Most nurses perceived that nurse manager directing was good, and the nurses job satisfaction were good as well. The most influential factor of nurse job satisfaction was motivational function of nurse manager, so it is needed to be improved to get an optimal nurse job satisfaction."

"ABSTRAK
Cachexia merupakan masalah yang umum dialami oleh pasien kanker stadium
lanjut. Studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dilakukan untuk
memperoleh gambaran tentang pengalaman cachexia pasien kanker stadium lanjut
dan keluarga yang merawat di RS Kanker Dharmais. Data studi diperoleh dari
lima partisipan pasien dan lima partisipan keluarga. Temuan memberikan
informasi rinci tentang pengalaman cachexia pada pasien kanker stadium lanjut
dan keluarga yang merawat dengan enam tema utama yang sama yaitu 1)
pengetahuan yang kurang tentang cachexia, 2) gangguan biopsikososial, 3)
perubahan pola makan, 4) perhatian perawat yang dirasakan kurang oleh pasien
dan keluarga, 5) kebutuhan akan pendidikan kesehatan dan 6) kebutuhan akan
peningkatan fasilitas kesehatan. Pada keluarga terdapat satu tema tambahan yaitu
terjadinya konflik dalam keluarga. Kemampuan dalam melakukan asuhan
keperawatan yang menyeluruh pada akhirnya akan meningkatan status nutrisi
pasien dan mengurangi konflik dalam keluarga.

Abstract
Cachexia is a common problem for cancer patient in end stage.
Phenomenologycal approach of qualitative study was conducted to get illustration
regarding experience of end stage cancer patient with cachexia and their families
who were involved during treatment in the Dharmais Cancer Hospital. Study
result gathered from five participants constituted of five patients and five families.
The current study showed detail information about experience of end stage cancer
patient with cachexia and their families within six main themes, namely : 1) lack
of knowledge about cachexia, 2) Biopsychosocial disturbances, 3) diet pattern
disturbances, 4) lack of attention from nurse, 5) in need of health education and 6)
in need of improvement of health facilities. Particularly within families member
there were additional main theme, namely : conflict in family. Abilities in
establishing holistic nursing care will lead to increase patient nutrition level and
decrease conflict within families."

"Penerapan kepemimpinan dan budaya keselamatan pasien yang belum optimal dapat berdampak pada timbulnya insiden keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk diperolehnya model kepemimpinan kepala ruang untuk membangun budaya keselamatan pasien. Penelitian mixed methodini terdiri dari dua tahap. Tahap pertama adalah identifikasi masalah menggunakan metoda wawancara, FGD, studi literatur, studi dokumentasi, dan survey.
Wawancara dilakukan pada delapan partisipan dan empat kali FGD pada 6-10 partisipan (FGD pimpinan rumah sakit, kepala ruang, ketua tim, dan kelompok perawat asosiet). Penelitian tahap kedua adalah pengembangan model dengan desain crosssectional. Sampel 210 perawat pelaksana dipilih secara acak sederhana dan data dianalisis dengan metode structural equation modeling (SEM).
Hasil Confirmatory Factor Analysis menunjukkan dimensi dan indikator dari setiap variabel yang membangun model valid (nilai-t >1,96) dan reliabel (contruct reliability >0,70; variance extracted >0,50), serta kecocokan keseluruhan model adalah baik (RMSEA=0,065<0,08). Model struktural yang dihasilkan, adalah: Kepemimpinan kepala ruang berpengaruh langsung terhadap budaya keselamatan pasien.

The implementation of leadership and patient safety culture which not optimal may have an impact on the growth of patient safety incidents in hospital. The aim of this study is obtaining leadership model of head nurse leadership to build the culture of patient safety. This mixed methods study consisted of two stages. The first stage is to identify the problem by depth interviews, focus group discussions, literature review, documentary studies, and surveys.
Interviews were conducted at eight participants, while the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) were carried four times at 6-10 participants (the head of hospital management, head nurse, team leader, and the group of nurse associate). The second stage of the study is the models development with cross sectional design. The 210 sample of nurses was collected by simple random sampling. Data that were found will be analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
The result of Confirmatory Factor Analysis has generate the dimensions and indicato rs of each variable, that support a valid (t-value >1,96) and reliable model building (contruct reliability >0,70; variance extracted >0,50), and also a good fit model (RMSEA = 0.065<0,08). Structural models were finally generated from this study: The leadership of head nurse directly affect patient safety culture.
