"Keseimbangan waktu mengurus pekerjaan dan mengurus hal lain di luar pekerjaan merupakan hal penting bagi pemilik UMK. Selain itu, motivasi dan kepribadian pemilik UMK juga menjadi bagian penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMK. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh work-life balance, motivasi, dan owner personality terhadap kinerja UMK di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 152 pemilik UMK sebagai responden. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-life balance motivasi, dan personality pemilik UMK dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMK. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 20,0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work life balance tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja UMK, sementara motivasi dan personality pemilik UMKM memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja UMK. Jumlah responden dan waktu penelitian perlu ditingkatkan guna penelitian selanjutnya. Selain itu, motivasi kewirausahaan dengan alat ukur yang spesifik perlu digunakan dalam penelitian selanjutnya.
Balance of time for taking care of work and other things in micro and small entreprises is important thing to the owners. In addition, the motivation and the personality of the owners in micro and small entreprises also become the important thing. The research discuss about the influence of work life balance, motivation, and personality on small medium enterprises performance in Jabodetabek. This research conduct of 152 micro and small enterprises owners. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS 20.0 software. The purpose of the research is to know the influence of work life balance, motivation, and personality of the micro and small entreprises owners in order to improve the performance. The results of the research are work life balance do not have influence on small medium enterprises performance, where motivation and personality have influence on micro and small enterprises performance. The number of respondents and time for research need to be improved. Besides that, entrepreneurial motivation with specific measuring tools should be used for future research. "

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh kepribadian berdasarkan Big Five Theory dan motivasi dalam bermain game online terhadap tingkat adiksi pada gamer MMORPG. Alat ukur Indonesian Online Game Addiction Questionnaire digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat adiksi responden (Jap, Tiatri, Jaya, & Suteja, 2013), sedangkan pengukuran kepribadian dilakukan menggunakan Big Five Inventory (John & Srivastava, 1999) yang telah diadaptasi. Jumlah responden yang digunakan sebanyak 82 orang dengan karakteristik berada pada tahap perkembangan late adolescence dan bermain game online MMORPG selama 6 bulan terakhir.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah tidak adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari kepribadian maupun motivasi dalam bermain game terhadap adiksi yang dimiliki individu. Walaupun ditemukan korelasi yang signfikan antara adiksi terhadap game online dengan tingkat extraversion individu dan durasi bermain selama seminggu.
This research was conducted to see the effect of personality and gamers’ motivation of playing on MMORPG addiction. Indonesian Online Game Addiction Questionnaire was used to measure online game addiction (Jap, Tiatri, Jaya, & Suteja, 2013), while personality was measured using an adaptation of Big Five Inventory (John & Srivastava, 1999). Total respondents used in this research are 82 people from online games forums and communities. Respondents are late adolescents and plays MMORPG for the past 6 months. The results from this research show that neither personality nor motivation of playing have any significant effect on MMORPG addiction. Yet there is negative significant correlation between extraversion and their duration of playing in a week with their addiction."

ABSTRAKAdanya kesesuaian karakteristik individu dengan pekerjaan yang sedang dijalani diduga menjadi faktor yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik seorang karyawan. Kesesuaian tersebut disebut juga sebagai personality-job fit. Menjadi penting adanya peningkatan motivasi intrinsik dikarenakan beberapa penelitian, di antaranya adalah Hackman dan Oldham 1980 ; Guzzo, Jette, dan Katzell 1985 ; serta Burke dan Litwin 1992 dengan model perubahan dan kinerja organisasinya, menunjukkan adanya dampak positif terhadap kinerja. Kinerja yang semakin positif merupakan harapan tiap perusahaan. Penelitian ini mencoba mengungkap dampak dari adanya kesesuaian karakteristik individu dengan pekerjaannya yang akan meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik dari individu tersebut. Pun terdapat penjelasan mengenai semakin baiknya kinerja dengan semakin tingginya motivasi intrinsik.

That compatibility is also called personality job fit. It is important to increasing intrinsic motivation due to some research, among them being Hackman and Oldham 1980 Guzzo, Jette, and Katzell 1985 And Burke and Litwin 1992 with their organizational change and performance model, suggesting a positive impact on performance. The more positive performance is the expectation of each company. This study tries to reveal the impact of the suitability of individual characteristics with work taken that will increase the intrinsic motivation of the individual. Also analysis of the become better performance with the increasing of intrinsic motivation."

"Kesuksesan pengelolaan tim sangat dipengaruhi oleh motivasi tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik kepribadian perawat dan motivasi perawat. Desain riset menggunakan deskriptif korelasi dengan tekhnik cross sectional dan sampel berjumlah 161 perawat di ruang rawat inap. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen motivasi dari teori Mc.Clelland dan instrumen kepribadian berdasarkan DISC. Mayoritas perawat mempunyai tipe steadiness (41.6%) dan motivasi kerja perawat mayoritas rendah dengan perbedaan persentase 3.2%.
Hasil bivariat tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik kepribadian dan motivasi (p= 0.792 pada grafik least dan 0.540 pada grafik most . Usia memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan motivasi (p=0.032, . Secara deskriptif tipe kepribadian dominance dan compliance memiliki motivasi tinggi dibandingkan influence, steadines.
Kesimpulan riset tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara karakteristik kepribadian (DISC) dan motivasi. Riset menyarankan dilaksanakan riset lanjutan dengan menggunakan instrumen DISC pada populasi yang berbeda.
The success of the team management is strongly influenced by team motivation. This study was aimed to determine the relationship of nurse personality characteristics and nurse motivation. Used descriptive correlation research design with cross sectional methode, with total sampling 161 nurses in inpatient department. The instrument used Mc.Clelland Theory and based on the DISC personality. The result of this study, majority of nurses had the steadiness type (41.6%) and low motivation majority of nurses with a percentage difference of 3,2%. Results of bivariate there was no significant relationship between personality characteristics and motivation (p = 0.792 at least charts and 0.540 on most charts, ). The age had a significant relationship with the motivation (p = 0.032, ). ). In the descriptive, dominance and compliance personality type had much more motivation than influence, steadiness. Conclusion research was no significant relationship between personality characteristics (DISC) and motivation. The study recommended further research carried out by using the DISC instruments in different populations."
