"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara ikatan orangtua-anak dan interaksi parasosial terhadap selebriti favorit pada remaja akhir. Pengukuran interaksi parasosial terhadap selebriti favoritnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Celebrity-Persona Parasocial Interaction Scale (CPPI) yang dikembangkan oleh Bocarnea dan Brown (2007). Pengukuran ikatan orangtua-anak dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) yang dikembangkan oleh Parker, Tupling dan Brown (1979). Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 206 remaja akhir. Dengan melakukan teknik statistik Pearson Correlation, didapatkan hasil korelasi r = .037, n = 206, p > .05, two tailed pada PBI skor care dengan CPPI, dan r = -.031, n = 206, p > .05, two tailed pada PBI skor overprotection dengan CPPI. Hasil korelasi tersebut menjelaskan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signfikan antara ikatan orangtua-anak dan interaksi parasosial.

This research was conducted to find the correlation between parental bonds and parasocial interaction towards their celebrity favourite on late adolescence. Measurement of parasocial interaction towards their favorite celebrity was done by using an instrument named Celebrity-Persona Parasocial Interaction Scale (CPPI) developed by Bocarnea and Brown (2007). Measurement of parental was done by using an instrument named Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) developed by Parker, Tupling and Brown (1979). "ABSTRAKMeningkatnya harapan hidup pada lanjut usia lansia diperhitungkan akan semakin meningkatkan durasi kebersamaan antara orang tua dan anak di dalam keluarga. Anak sebagai keturunan memiliki kewajiban untuk melaksanakan perannya dalam mendukung dan memberikan perawatan kepada orang tua sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab berbakti. Namun faktanya ada kecenderungan semakin melemahnya perwujudan peran berbakti anak laki-laki dibandingkan anak perempuan terutama terjadi pada usia dewasa madya. Dalam studi baseline diperoleh bahwa aspek emotive r= .524 , ?= .427 paling mempengaruhi perilaku tanggung jawab berbakti anak dewasa kepada orang tua lansia. Berdasar hasil studi baseline tersebut, peneliti melakukan intervensi dengan menggunakan teknik persuasi kepada anak laki-laki dewasa madya untuk meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab berbakti kepada orang tuanya yang sudah lansia. ABSTRACTThe increasing life expectancy of elderly means increased duration of togetherness between parent and child in the family. Children as the offspring have an obligation to exercise their role to support and provide care to older parent as a form of filial responsibility. In fact, there is a tendency of weakening the role of dutiful men than women, mainly occur in middle adulthood. Baseline study showed that emotive aspect r .524 , .427 was the most influence filial responsibility behavior adult children to elderly parent. The lower emotive aspect has resulted lower filial responsibility. Based on this baseline study, researcher intervened by using persuasion techniques to the men middle aged to improve the filial responsibility behavior to their parents. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan alat ukur Attitudes Toward Divorce Scale (Kinnaird & Gerrard, 1986) untuk mengukur sikap terhadap perceraian dan Marital Expectation Scale (MES) (Jones & Nelson, 1996) untuk mengukur ekspektasi terhadap pernikahan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 dewasa muda yang orangtuanya bercerai. Berdasarkan teknik analisis data Pearson Correlation Test, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap perceraian dan ekspektasi terhadap pernikahan (r = -0,463, p<0,01, 2-tailed).

This quantitative study investigated the relationship between attitudes toward divorce and marital expectation among young adults from divorced parents. Attitudes Toward Divorce Scale (Kinnaird & Gerrard, 1986) is used to measure attitudes toward divorce, and Marital Expectation Scale (MES) (Jones & Nelson, 1996) is used to measure marital expectation. There were 80 young adults from divorced parents participated in this study. According to measurement using Pearson Correlation Test, the result indicate that there was significant relationship between attitudes toward divorce and marital expectation (r = -0,463, p<0,01, 2-tailed)."
