"ABSTRAK Kejahatan dan penegakan hukum merupakan tema menarik yang selalu hadir dimedia. Belakangan ini juga terdapat hubungan antara penegak hukum dan media massa. Hubungan tersebut menghasilkan sebuah program dengan nama reality show 86. Menggunakan gabungan pemikiran yang berkaitan dengan konstruksi media, penelitian ini menganalisa konstruksi yang dilakukan media terhadap realitaskejahatan dan penegakan hukum. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi naratif terhadap sepuluh episode reality show 86. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah bentuk-bentuk konstruksi realitas kejahatan dan penegakan hukum yang ada di media massa. Kemudian dari semua bentuk konstruksi yang ada, dijabarkan kemungkinan-kemungkinan mistifikasi yang terjadi di masyarakat.

ABSTRACT Crime and law enforcement is an interesting theme that is always present in themedia. Lately, there is also a relationship between law enforcement and the media. The relationship produce a program with the name of reality show 86. Using a combination of thought related to the construction of the media, this study analyzes the media construction to the reality of crime and law enforcement. The method used is a narrative content analysis to ten episodes of reality show 86. The results of thisstudy are forms of construction of reality of crime and law enforcement in the massmedia. Then from all forms of existing constructions, described the possibilities ofmystification that occur in society."

"Penelitian ini membahas alih kode yang terjadi dalam ?Ini Talk Show? di NET TV yang difokuskan kepada tuturan dua pembawa acara, yaitu Andre dan Sule. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengamati ujaran-ujaran Andre (A) dan Sule (S) yang mengandung alih kode. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan jenis-jenis alih kode yang muncul dalam data, menjelaskan pola-pola bahasa yang muncul seperti apa, dan menjelaskan penyebab munculnya alih kode. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat jenis alih kode, yaitu alih kode antarkalimat, alih kode ekstrakalimat, alih kode intrakalimat, dan alih kode kata tunggal. Alih kode muncul dalam berbagai pola, mulai dari pola bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris atau sebaliknya, pola bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa daerah (Sunda dan Jawa) atau sebaliknya, dan pola bahasa Sunda ke bahasa Inggris atau sebaliknya. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini juga ditemukan beberapa penyebab munculnya alih kode yang dilakukan oleh A dan S.

This study discusses code switching that occurs in NET TV program titled ?Ini Talk Show? focusing on two presenters of the show, Andre and Sule. The research uses descriptive qualitative method in which Andre (A) and Sule (S)?s utterances containing code switching throughout the show are observed. The purpose of this study is to further explain the types of code switching that appear in the result of data, explaining the patterns that appear in the data and explaining the causes of code switching. It is indicated that there are four types of code switching; inter-sentential, extra-sentential, intra-sentential, and single word. Code switching appears in a variety of patterns, ranging from Indonesian pattern to English and vice versa, Indonesian pattern to local languages (Sundanese and Javanese) or vice versa, and Sundanese pattern to English language and vice versa. Moreover, the reasoning behind the use of code switching performed by A and S are also found and discussed in this study."

"ABSTRAKRuang lingkup keluarga sarat akan nilai privasi, dimana segala bentuk permasalahan di dalamnya merupakan masalah yang sangat pribadi dan dipandang sebagai aib yang tabu untuk disebarluaskan. Namun pada kenyataannya, isu konflik keluarga telah menjadi salah satu komoditas bagi media untuk dijual guna mendapatkan keuntungan.Penulisan ini ingin melihat bagaimana tayangan Masihkah Kau Mencintaiku melakukan komodifikasi terhadap konflik keluarga, bagaimana tanggapan khalayak tentang format reality show pada tayangan dan muatan konflik keluarga yang dikomodifikasikan. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough pada level teks, discourse practice dan socioculture diketahui bahwa tayangan reality show Masihkah Kau Mencintaiku yang tayang di RCTI telah melakukan komodifikasi konflik dalam keluarga. Hal ini disebabkan karena ketatnya persaingan antar media, sehingga harus merebut perhatian khalayak untuk mendapatkan rating dan share yang memuaskan. Disamping itu, faktanya khalayak juga menyukai tayangan dengan tema konflik keluarga yang dipenuhi adegan emosional seperti ini.Label reality show yang menempel pada tayangan seolah menguatkan argumen bahwa tayangan tersebut memang mengangkat kisah nyata dari sebuah keluarga, dan dengan orang-orang yang memang bermasalah. Sehingga terkesan bahwa konflik keluarga bukanlah aib yang harus ditutupi lagi. Tayangan seperti ini menghadirkan suatu wacana bahwa kesakralan pernikahan dan keluarga bukanlah hal yang utama lagi, dan bahwa konflik keluarga dan perceraian merupakan hal yang lumrah terjadi saat ini.

ABSTRACT

The family's scope is full of privacy, so that every problem in there may be a very personal thing, which is called as shame or scandal. But in fact, the family conflict issues are sold for the media profit, as one of the media commodity.

The purposes of this thesis are to know how Masihkah Kau Mencintaiku commodify the family conflict issues, and what the audience think about the reality show as a genre of the program. By using the Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis method for the text, discourse practice and socioculture practice level, it is acknowledged that the reality show Masihkah Kau Mencintaiku, which was shown in RCTI, commodified the family conflicts. To gain highest rating and media compete to maintain their audience attention towards the show.

Surprisingly, the audience put high interest to watch the program which provided these issues and high emotional tense scenes.

A label or reality show has made the audience believed that the program tells a real stories of family conflicts. As a result, the audience has the tendency to think that family conflicts are no secrets, and that is common to be brought into the public. This program represented discourses that the sacred of a marriage and family are not important anymore, and the family conflict or family divorce are the common issues in society."

"Dalam sebuah pola asuh, penting bagi orang tua dan anak menerapkan pola komunikasi yang baik. Namun, pada kenyataannya banyak orang tua yang tidak menerapkan pola asuh yang sesuai dengan kenakalan anak mereka. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilihat bagaimana tayangan Nanny 911 merepresentasikan sebuah gambaran pola asuh yang sesuai yang dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan latar belakang orang tua dan latar belakang kenakalan anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membingkai gambaran pola asuh dan latar belakang sebuah pola asuh menurut tayangan Nanny 911. Selain analisis framing untuk mendukung penelitian juga dilakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan ibu rumah tangga. Pada penelitian kualitatif ini dilihat apa latar belakang orang tua memilih sebuah metode pola asuh. Analisis framing memperlihatkan ada penyebab mengapa orang tua memilih metode otoriter, permisif, dan sebagainya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa selain konflik yang ada di keluarga, latar belakang orang tua dan latar belakang karakter dan kenakalan anak menjadi alasan pemilihan pola asuh apa yang akan diterapkan. Akhirnya, dapat disimpulkan media bisa menjadi sarana informasi pola asuh bagi para orang tua."

"Tesis ini membahas kontruksi realitas sosial penutupan lokalisasi Dolly dan Jarak di Surabaya, melalui program talk show Primetime News di Metro TV, serta peran media massa sebagai ruang publik ideal pada realitas sosial berpotensi konflik tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma kritis, yang menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis milik Norman Fairclough. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media membentuk representasi, relasi, dan identitas pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam wacana. Selain itu, pekerja media, rutinitas media, organisasi media, dan extra media menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi kontruksi realitas sosial. Temuan lain adalah adanya pengaruh keberadaan waktu prime time dalam industri televisi, serta munculnya dehumanisasi dalam peliputan terkait prostitusi. Program ini menjadi upaya Metro TV dalam menciptakan ruang publik sebagai media untuk diskursif inklusif, untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik. Meski demikian, faktor ekonomi menjadi penghalang untuk membentuk ruang publik dengan kondisi yang ideal.

This thesis discusses construction of social reality, the closing of localozation "Dolly and Jarak" in Surabaya, through a talk show program "Primetime News" on Metro TV, as well as the role of mass media as an ideal public sphere related to that social reality potential conflict. This study is a qualitative research with a critical paradigm, which uses Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis method.

The results showed that the media shape representations, relationships, and the identity of the parties involved in the discourse. In addition, media workers, media routines, media organizations, and extra-media are the factors that affect the construction of social reality.

Other findings, there is the influence of the existence of a prime time in the television industry, and the emergence of dehumanization in prostitution-related reporting. This program is a Metro TV efforts in creating a public space as a medium for discursive inclusive, to prevent conflict. However, economic factors become a barrier to form a public space with ideal conditions."

"Makanan Korea telah memperoleh kepopuleran di mancanegara. Kepopuleran ini terjadi karena semakin meningkatnya popularitas budaya populer Korea (hallyu), seperti K-pop, K-film, dan K-drama. Saat ini, makanan Korea juga semakin dikenal melalui acara realitas Korea, salah satunya adalah Jinny’s Kitchen. Jinny’s Kitchen adalah acara realitas yang memperkenalkan jajanan kaki lima Korea (gilgeorieumsik) melalui pembukaan restoran Korea di Bacalar, Meksiko. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan strategi Jinny’s Kitchen dalam melakukan gastrodiplomasi gilgeorieumsik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jinny’s Kitchen telah melakukan berbagai strategi yang efektif untuk mengupayakan gastrodiplomasi di Meksiko. Berbagai strategi yang dilakukan Jinny’s Kitchen berpengaruh pada peningkatan kesadaran target gastrodiplomasi terhadap budaya kuliner Korea.

Korean food has gained popularity abroad. This popularity occurs due to the increasing popularity of Korean popular culture (hallyu), such as K-pop, K-film and K-drama. Currently, Korean food is also increasingly known through Korean reality shows, one of which is Jinny's Kitchen. Jinny's Kitchen is a reality show that introduces Korean street food (gilgeorieumsik) through the opening of a Korean restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico. The aim of this research is to explain the motivation, strategy and success of Jinny's Kitchen in carrying out gilgeorieumsik gastrodiplomacy. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method and a case study approach. The research results show that Jinny's Kitchen carried out various effective strategies to pursue gastrodiplomacy in Mexico. The various strategies carried out by Jinny's Kitchen have an effect on increasing the awareness of gastrodiplomacy targets towards Korean culinary culture."
