Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) is among the most prevalent spinal conditions. HNP is a condition in which the nucleus pulposus protrudes through the torn annulus fibrosus and presses against the spinal canal. The majority of HNP is located in the lumbar vertebrae, while only a small percentage is found in the cervical region. Lumbar HNP is most prevalent in the L4-L5 and L5-S1 regions. Patients with HNP may experience disturbances in their physiological, psychological, and social functions, as well as their independence in participating in daily activities, as a result of the impact and nursing issues they experience. Based on this, a comprehensive evaluation is required to assess these functional changes. The purpose of this case study is to apply Roy's adaptation theory to analyze the nursing process in HNP L5-S1 patients following microdiscectomy surgery. This study describes in detail the nursing process for HNP L5-S1 patients following microdiscectomy surgery. The nursing process based on Roy's adaptation theory that has been implemented with HNP patients demonstrates that the patient can control the disease and its complications through the development of adaptive behavior. Active participation of the patient in the nursing process facilitates physical and psychological adaptation."

Trauma to the ischiadicus nerve is a peripheral nerve injury that results in morphological and cellular changes in neurons and axons. Post-injury recovery of the ischiadicus nerve is often not functionally optimal. Currently, PRP has been developed as an alternative therapy option to surgery. This is because PRP contains cytokines and neurotrophins that play a role in nerve regeneration. This study aims to look at the role of PRP in motor nerve regeneration of sciatica model rats with crush injury. This experimental study used stored biological blocks of the spinal cord and nervus ischiadicus from male Wistar rats treated with control, sciatica and sciatica with PRP terminated on days 7 and 42 at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. PRP as much as 0.2 ml was given to the crush injury area using absorbable gelatin sponge. Assessment of nerve regeneration was performed by looking at the density of neurons in the spinal cord using toluidine blue special staining and immunohistochemistry of S100B protein in the cytoplasm of schwann cells of the ischiadicus nerve. There were significant results in the examination of neuron density on days 7 and 42 between the sciatica group and the sciatica + PRP group and significant results in the examination of S100B protein expression on day 7 in the control group and the sciatica group with the sciatica + PRP group. This study shows that PRP administration can increase schwann cell proliferation and play a role in neuron survival."

"Evidence-based Clinical Practice (EBCP) is the conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best external evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. In neurology, practice has shifted from a rich, descriptive discipline to one of increasingly diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Providing a comprehensive review of the current best evidence, Neurology : an evidence-based approach presents this type of evidence in a concise, user-friendly and easily accessible manner. The three co-editors of this important volume are linked in their passion for evidence-based clinical practice in the clinical neurological sciences, connected to a common historical origin at the University of Western Ontario (UWO), London, Ontario Canada and influenced directly by evidence-based medicine teachings of McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario Cananda. The book is organized in three sections: Basics of Evidence-Based Clinical Practice, with an introduction to the topic, a chapter on the evolution of the hierarchy of evidence, and another chapter on guidelines for rating the quality of evidence and grading the strength of recommendation. The second section, Neurological Diseases, provides an illuminating overview of evidence-based care in ten of the most common areas in neurologic practice. The final, third section provides an outstanding roadmap for teaching evidence-based neurology with a chapter on the evidence-based curriculum. "

"Latar Belakang

Introduction
The World Health Organization has declared the COVID-19 pandemic over, so children with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders need to adapt again. Therefore, research on post- pandemic adaptation related to health services, the development of children's medical problems, children's relationships with family and friends, children's behavior, and problems faced by parents, caregivers, and families in treating children needs to be carried out to design interventions and policies that support them in facing similar situations in the future.
Method
This research is a cross-sectional study on parents or caregivers of patients at the Children's Neurology Polyclinic RSCM Kiara in October-November 2023 with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire containing 48 questions to determine post-COVID-19 pandemic adaptation for children with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. Data are presented in N and percentage as well as mean and standard deviation (if normally distributed) or median and minimum-maximum values (if not normally distributed).
Results
The number of subjects involved was 125 people, dominated by mothers (85,6%), with a median (min-max) child age of 7 (2-17) years, and the child's diagnosis was dominated by epilepsy (58,3%). After the pandemic, 54,4% of respondents experienced health service difficulties regarding outpatient waiting times, and 56,8% reported improvements in medical problems. Most children's relationships with their families were good before and during the pandemic (48,8%) and after (49,6%). Regarding children's relationships with friends, during the pandemic, almost half of children had no contact with their friends (44,8%), but now, most children have returned to playing in person (62,4%). Regarding changes in post-pandemic behavior, 43,2% reported that it was relatively the same. Meanwhile, regarding the problems parents, caregivers, and families faced in handling children, 40,8% stated there were no difficulties managing their children after the pandemic.
Conclusion
Post-pandemic COVID-19 adaptation has had an impact on health services, children's medical development, changes in behavior, and relationships with friends for children with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders; although most family relationships remain good, and most parents report no significant differences in a work situation, or there are no difficulties faced in dealing with children.

Ischemic Heart Disease is one of the most common causes of death in the world and its frequency continues to increase every year. This is a big challenge for a nurse in health services in Indonesia. Quality nursing practice must be balanced with Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) evidence because EBN can be the basis for carrying out the role of professional caregivers, educators, researchers, and innovators. Residency practice has provided experience and increased residency knowledge about cardiovascular nursing. The application of Lydia Hall's theory: Care, Core, and Cure was carried out by residencies in 30 resume cases and one managed case, namely in patients with STEMI. The role of researchers has been carried out by applying EBN regarding the application of Slow Deep Breathing Relaxation Exercise (SDBRE) after chest tube removal in patients undergoing CABG in the Intermediate Ward of Surgery. The application of SDBRE was found to be effective in reducing pain after chest tube removal. The role of innovation is carried out by compiling the Munro Scale protocol to prevent Perioperative Related Pressure Injury in cardiac surgery patients. The Munro Scale was found to be able to detect the risk of Pressure Injury, easily understood by nurses, and easily implemented by operating room nurses in treatment. However, follow-up studies of the Munro Scale should be carried out in the surgical ICU, IW Surgery, and Inpatient rooms."
