"Alliance is becoming an essential feature in today's intensely competitive market as a means of facilitating market entry, acquiring new technology, leveraging economies of scale, and enhancing new product development capabilities. Recently, alliances have been linked to the organizational learning literature where alliances create environments for learning and knowledge transfer. This phenomenon is the main purpose of this paper, where it will define and discuss the key facilitating learning elements in strategic alliances. The study used an in-depth case study method. Two respondent organizations were used to gather data for the purpose of the study. One case was from the manufacturing sector and the other is from the service sector. Both entered into alliances with learning from foreign parent partner as one of the key objectives. The final part of the paper will summarize the findings and suggest key elements promoting learning from foreign parent partner to the ?child businesses in the case of international strategic alliance which include learning as one of their alliance objectives."

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang hubungan kepercayaan mitra bisnis terhadap loyalitas dalam program kemitraan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan kepercayaan mitra bisnis terhadap loyalitas dalam program kemitraan. Kepercayaan dibentuk oleh tiga hal yaitu ability (kemampuan), benevolence (kebaikan hati) dan integrity (integritas). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebanyak 46 responden dari 97 mitra bisnis di pabrik gula Pradjekan ditemui untuk pengambilan sampel dan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketiga faktor yang memiliki hubungan antara kepercayaan dan loyalitas adalah faktor ability, benevolence (kebaikan hati) dan integrity (integritas).

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses the relationship of trust in business partner toward loyalty in partnership program. The purpose of this study is to determine how much the relationship of trust of business partner toward loyalty in partnership program. The trust is formed by three things that is ability, benevolence and integrity. This study uses a quantitative approach. As many as 46 respondents drawn from 97 business partner at Pradjekan sugarcane factory were met for sampling and questionnaires. The result of this study showed that the factors that have relationships between the trust and the loyalty are ability, benevolence and integrity.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai penerapan outsourcing
di Strategic Business Unit Garuda Sentra Medika. Penelitian ini menggunakan
pendekatan positivis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui
wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan penerapan
outsourcing di Strategic Business Unit Garuda Sentra Medika. Hasil penelitian
analisis penerapan outsourcing ini berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari
indikator-indikator yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penerapan outsourcing.
Indikator-indikator tersebut yaitu perencanaan outsourcing, pemilihan strategi,
analisis biaya, pemilihan pemberi jasa, tahap negosiasi, transisi sumber daya dan
pengelolaan hubungan. Dari indikator tersebut secara umum telah diterapkan
dengan baik. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam
penerapan outsourcing ini, yaitu dari dalam pemberian jaminan dan penggajian
pegawai outsourcing. Penerapan outsourcing ini berjalan dengan baik dikarenakan
adanya pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh pihak eksternal dan pihak internal.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to discuss the implementation of outsourcing in Strategic
Business Unit Garuda Sentra Medika. Positivist approach is used in in this
research with qualitative data collection techniques through in-depth interviews.
This research is aimed at describing the application of outsourcing in Strategic
Business Unit Garuda Sentra Medika. The results of the analysis of the
application of outsourcing run well. This can be seen from the indicators that are
used as a reference in the application outsourcing. The indicators include
outsourcing planning, strategy selection, cost analysis, the selection of service
providers, the negotiation phase, the transition of resources and management
relations. Generally, these indicators have been applied properly. Nevertheless,
there are two disadvantages in the application of this outsourcing. They are the
granting of guarantees and employee payroll outsourcing. The application of
outsourcing runs well due to the existence of oversight conducted by external
parties and internal parties.
